Took my 2015 Grand Cherokee in for the second time for a check engine light (likely the cap less gas filler system) and all I got was basically a smug «we can’t look at your car for another two days we have other customers». Asked for a rental and was told if the problem wasn’t covered by Chrysler extended warrantee it would be out of pocket. No problem figure roll the dice and get the rental rather than drive my car with an unknown condition. Story is now that if the fix is a 15 minute fix I’m on my own with a rental. I know some of this is Chrysler policy but it sucks as far as customer service goes. Sitting at a desk reciting policy and mean while my situation hasn’t changed, I still have a check engine light and he is still reciting policy.

I would normally not give a rating this high for car maintenance, but the well above average customer service I received here truly deserves this rating.
I stopped in for very basic service needs (oil change and a tire balance/​rotation). The length of time for the oil change was pretty typical for a dealership. When I returned for my car we were discussing what had been done and the rotation had been forgotten. Instead of getting the typical «deal with it» treatment that I have gotten from shops and dealerships in other locations the service personnel admitted it was their mess up and immediately got my car back into the shop to accomplish it for no additional cost. This alone would have been enough for me to be at least content with the service, but once they began removing my tires it was discovered that my wheel lock was missing from my car. Since they didn’t have one in the shop and mine could not be located within the vehicle, one of the mechanics offered to drive home and retrieve his own so that I could still get the car serviced and not have to purchase a pricey full kit immediately.
