Genesis Farm and Gardens

Loved this beautiful place for a wedding! Judy, the owner is very nice & was so accommodating to everyone. Couldn’t have been happier with the venue. Thank you so much, Judy. A day I will cherish forever!!!

The view and venue are beautiful.. but you have to deal with the owner and staff which are not worth it. The owner needs to loosen up. She complained about my country decorations (example hay bails) and also the alcohol we had catered. We followed all her rules but she hovered like we were high schoolers the whole night. Our photographer even warned us about her but it was to late because we already had put down our deposit. Avoid this venue if you want a relaxing evening that is stress free and allows the reception to be fun.

My soon to be husband and I booked this venue close to a year ago. Our wedding is right around the corner. I have had several interactions with the owner and she has been so delightful to work with. I have called her asking questions in regards to vendor insurance, arranged times to view the location to show family etc. All of which have been great and she has been more than happy to help. She is very down to earth. Maintains the property herself and with the help of a couple others, and does an amazing job. I have visted a few times since we have booked it, and everytime the gardens and the rest of the property have been in pristine condition. I could not ask for anything better, the venue is stunning and so much bigger than you realize at first. I have nothing but good things to say about the owner and the property. Very excited to be getting married here!

Beautiful property, with amazing scenery. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The person who runs/​owns this venue brought undue stress upon my bride to be without provocation. She was surly and short with not only my one and only, but also my guests. This poor behavior was embraced by all of the venue overlords (the owner and her helpers) as they would stop at nothing to make a very tame and elegant wedding feel like a closely guarded day in the yard at a maximum security prison.
I hope against all hope that our guests did not feel as preyed upon as we did, but I know that is not the case.
Please find another venue as this one is not worth the stress at any price.
