Lines are WAY too long because they have an 80 year old cashier that is past the point of being applauded for working. It is really nice they employ kids and older folks but they really need to be able to complete the work. How hard is it to ring someone up? Should it really take 3 – 5 minutes at the register? NO! Should they do nothing about flies in the breadbox? NO! I drive an extra 25 minutes to and from Auburn so I do not have to use this Subway! The manager there should really get a job in social work because it seems like he gives jobs to anyone… even people who cannot make sandwiches or count money.

Has to be the worst run Subway I have seen. Employees smoking out front(I say this cause they where younger). Rude girls behind the counter, if they worked there. Three people behind the counter and only one working. Don’t get me started about the bugs and the bathrooms. Sorry if you have cobwebs in your business you don’t have a spider problem. Cause they go where the bugs are. Drive to another store and avoid the hassle of this place.

Went here after a hike at Mt. Rainier. Flies, teenage workers, and sick stomachs are really all that need to be said.

Absolutely the worst service that I have ever received at a subway restaurant! There equipment was broken so I could not get the sandwich that I wanted. I was so embarrassed with how I was treated that I had to leave and go elsewhere. Who knew it was so hard to make a sandwich and be friendly :(

Rudest person I have ever met during my whole stay in Washington. I am not from around there and was surprised when some items were not available and I was made to feel like I should have known what was going on. Well excuse me for driving through and stopping at THEVERYFIRSTSUBWAY I came to. EXCUSEME for not knowing that Subway limits what kinds of cheese they have. I was with my son who is 14 and even he was surprised at how rude this employee was. No skin off our backs we just stopped at the next Subway on our route. We should all be thankful that this guy running the store isn’t in any other type of job because he has some POWERTRIP issues.

Rude much! I first of all do not go to Subways anymore(for health choice reasons) but 2⁄3 employees we encountered today was totally rude. The first one who was preparing the bread and meat was of old age and could not speak clearly nor hear what my friend was saying. We ended up in a big miscommunication and received a «so-called» Philly Cheesesteak that looked nothing like it… for $ 10+ ridiculous much. The other lady putting on the sides and sauces was just monotone asking what he wanted on his sandwich. Okay… then. Good thing I don’t even live in Enumclaw. We were just passing by.

Whether this is a good sub shop or not depends largely upon who’s working… I’ve been in here on good days with solid staff. I’ve been here on slammed afternoons, with sandwich artists working their magic in record time. Then there are days like today, when you get two high school students working. One acts like a complete novice, and the other is so apathetic, you can feel her distain for having to deal with any customer let alone be at work. Some tips for the staff: 1) When creating two sandwiches from one foot-long, it might be who of you to ask for toppings, like cheese, at the same time so you don’t end up wasting time toasting each 6″ separately while standing around doing nothing while the first gets cold. The oven tray can easily fit both. 2) On a veggie sandwich, don’t skimp on the veggies! And don’t look at me funny for politely asking for more(lettuce and tomato). Girl’s gotta eat and I don’t have any meat! 3) High school girl shift leader, at least TRY to pretend you’re happy to be there. Don’t act put off and sigh when I ask about the banner your shop is advertising over the entrance door. And when a random person from the street walks in to ask a question, let the other kid standing around doing nothing help him! Don’t blow off the customer standing right in front of your face, talking to you. I was trying to make our sandwiches combo meals, earning your business more revenue, but you completely ignored me to yell and point at said outside pedestrian –who, may I point out, was not giving you business– and then you rang me up and shoved the receipt at me without even asking. Your store was completely slow, and there was no reason to act like that. 4) More than ONE napkin for two people(one of whom is a messy adolescent) would be nice. I would have given today’s review even less than two stars, but as I said, I’ve been here on days when their other staff is much better. The establishment has always been clean when I’ve come in, and the location is convenient.

I will rate this against other fast food restaurants — not full service. First of all — they are typical of Subway as far as food but they excel in service. Since I started working in the area, I have eaten there about 5 times and I always have been greeted and made to feel welcome — not like some of their sister stores. The location is clean and they went all out for Christmas — which is a plus in my book. It is easy to get in and out and if you are in the mood for a sandwich — the place to visit.

Who doesn’t love Subway? If you are searching for a sandwich, and are in a hurry, and are looking for something cheap to eat, Subway is the way to go! Located on the main strip in «The Claw» this Subway is centrally located. If you’re looking for a Subway, you can’t miss this one!

Open 24 Hours and busy at midnight on a Sunday… There were 3 employees at this time of the morning and they were all friendly(and awake!). Our sandwiches were good and there produce was fresh… Will definitely come back here if I need a sandwich in the middle of the night when I’m in the claw!

Get your Subway fix 24 hours a day at this Enumclaw store. It’s a quick stop on the way to Crystal Mountain or Sunrise in Mt. Rainier NP. It was empty when I walked in on a Friday at 11am, but a line of five or six people quickly formed behind me. The only employee on duty at the time had her hands full keeping up. I imagine they have more than one person working during the lunch window — maybe 11am is just a bit early.
