Great food and excellent service. We were driving through on our way to Crystal and couldn’t have picked a better spot.

Awesome beer, awesome infused tequila, good Ceasar salad, really good fire burger! Fries are the best I’ve had in a long time!

Food was okay– I ordered the salmon Cobb salad with some additions and it was good, but the salmon was overcooked on the bottom. My boyfriend ordered a pepperoni pizza with black olives and there was so much cheese that it was almost gross. The drinks were bad– I ordered both a mojito & a Bahama mama and both were very very bad. The mojito was watery and had little to no flavor, the Bahama mama was sickly sour and had way too much Malibu rum. The service was wonderful though and everyone was very nice and very helpful. I’ve been here before and their Mac&Cheese balls are to DIEFOR

One of the most incredible pizzarias my s/o and I have ever been to. Service was fast, food was well priced(and DELICIOUS). Easy five stars, will be coming back!

We stopped in in our way back from skiing on a recommendation. Nice to see this place live up to its recommendation. It was good, friendly and well worth the stop! We will be back again! I’m adding to this review as I ordered pepper chinos on my pizza and gave us extra pepperoni instead. I did not say anything or complain as who cares eh. So they bribe me another pizza to say sorry. Talk about over the top GREAT customer service… It was not needed and I did not say anything. Thank you to the staff and owners. You had our repeat business anyway.

Food is pretty good here. I’ve been here a handful of times and have not been disappointed. What I like most is the atmosphere. It has a full bar, but has more of a restaurant feel than The Mint or The Rainier. My kids are completely obsessed with Mac and Cheese balls. The sandwiches are pretty good, and the salads are excellent. Keep in mind, when ordering a sandwich, if the sandwich has a salad by a similar name, its probably just the salad in a bread vessel. I eperienced this with the chicken basil wrap. If I’d known, I’d have just ordered the salad. Service has always been excellent.

The first few times I came here I was thoroughly impressed with the food as well as the service. Recently, on two separate occasions, I took family here to show off the culinary offerings of our little town. On both visits our orders took more than 45 minutes to be brought out to us and the food was either cold or the order was wrong or both. I don’t know what changed, but Jackson’s has gone downhill. I guess I will have to find another place in town to take visitors from now on.

Ray: I was taking some time off work last Thursday, so Josh headed south to Enumclaw where he, his mom(my wife) and I all went out for our weekly dinner and review. I had only been to Jacksons one time, so I thought that would be as good a place as any. Jacksons is in a great location in the center of downtown Enumclaw. The place is nicely decorated and sort of comes across as a high endish type bar. A look at the menu prices would confirm that Jacksons also considers itself a little hi endish as well. We seated ourselves and were waited on promptly. We ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. We decided on an appetizer of macaroni and cheese balls(breaded and deep fried). For dinner I ordered the pan fried oysters, which I love and my wife ordered the sirloin steak cooked medium. The appetizer showed up in a reasonable amount of time and we dug right in. Only one thing… they were room temperature. Not a very appetizing appetizer, I must say. I ate part of one and that was enough for me. My salad arrived rather unceremoniously. Apparently this high endish bar doesn’t offer fresh ground pepper as a general service, though there was a pepper mill just 15 feet away from me at the bar. Not good… The meals took a really, really long time to arrive. We didn’t time it, but I believe it took between 25 to 30 minutes. And they weren’t very busy. When the food did arrive, my oysters looked pretty good but my wife’s «steak» was actually a couple slices off a sirloin roast, not an actual steak cooked as requested. She complained that the«garlic marinated» beef was bland. As I started in on the pan fried oysters I was disappointed that the breading just didn’t taste that good. Now, as I said earlier, I just love pan fried oysters. I actually left one on the plate. They just weren’t very good. I also need to point out that the brocollini(one of my favorites) was stone cold on our plates. I didn’t even eat it and neither did my wife. What can I say? I was embarrassed that I recommended Jacksons to Josh. Jacksons was a big disappointment. Only two grudging stars. I won’t be back anytime soon. Josh: Last Thursday I headed down to the deep south of King County to my Old Man’s neighborhood of Enumclaw to visit and review Jackson’s restaurant right in the middle of the down town area. The space where Jackson’s resides used to be a Hallmark store, and I think it’s been a few other things before finally turning into Jackson’s. We walked into a dining room that was about one-third full, and took a seat at one of the booths running down the right side. Water and menus were brought and we tool a look at the menu. Everything looks pretty good, the menu is definitely offering a variety of dishes from steak to hamburgers to pasta and pizza. The service seemed to be running a little slowly, but the waiter finally made his way by to take the drink orders, I had the«Grampa’s hot sauce» which was a hot apple cider with a shot of fireball. I was tossed up over a few different entrees, but finally settled on the 16oz ribeye steak. It took quite a while for the waiter to make it back to the table to take the orders, then it took about triple the time to actually receive the meal. Way too long. Especially when they seemed to be fully staffed and not really all that busy. The plating and presentation was a little wonky, the steak was on top of the potatoes and the brocollini, and was covered with some sort of cream sauce, grilled onions and(what I think was) gorgonzola cheese. I ended up scraping everything off the steak because it was just too overwhelming and killing the steak flavors. The steak itself was large but quite flat, not what I expected for a $ 25 plate. It looked like what you might get for a «steak special» at Denny’s or something. Overall I was not impressed with Jackson’s. I’m still curious about the hamburgers on the menu, I could see myself going back to try one of those bad boys, but not for the steak. I’m gonna have to go with just 2 stars for Jackson’s. I’m not a fan.

The best Mac n Cheese ever… total comfort food and enough food you could have for lunch the next day. Highly recommend. The hubby had the meatball sandwich. Very meaty on a huge French bread roll and lots of marinara sauce.

stopped on the way home from Mt. Rainier with a crowd and had a great salad(with real grilled chicken and homemade dressing and super-fresh greens). members of my group were undecided on beers, so the server offered tastes. score! We all enjoyed our food very much, but maybe even more importantly, the ambiance and service was impeccable. nothing like feeling pampered after 6+ miles and 1700′ gain. :-) Liked it so much I was back the very next weekend with two other hiking buddies and had a similarly wonderful experience. the Greek salad was just the ticket, and the(same) server let me taste each of his recommended white wines to determine which to order. but wait – it gets better! just today i received a personalized thank you from Amie, the GM, thanking me for coming and attaching a dessert coupon. Not that I’ll have room for dessert, but I’ll definitely be back next hiking season. this place is family owned and really pays attention to every detail. highly recommended.

Some of my family and friends decided to try Jacksons for the first time. The two servers who were working the main dining area were incredibly rude! We were never properly greeted, and waited 20 minutes for the bartender to come take our order. We attempted to «flag down» the other two servers, but were completely ignored. On a positive note… the bartender was engaging, friendly and«on his game». The homemade broccoli/chicken soup is fabulous, as is their cheesy fries and bruschetta. Would probably order take out next time, as dealing with the dining room servers just isn’t worth the energy.

We waited 15 minutes for a server to even bring us water. We ordered two pear chicken salads… it took 1 hour and 10 minutes to get our order. Server apologized sort of… they were busy but not crazy busy… they had 4 or 5 empty tables. The food was good… but not worth the wait… Servers were ok… only 2 of them…

My family and I decided to drive out to try a Mexican restaurant next door to this place, only to find out they were closed. So, we’ve decided to try out Jackson instead! First and foremost, the service is amazingly quick and very friendly! Our waitress was on point! Mind you they had a full house on this day, but these TWOWAITRESSES! Yup!!! I said TWO!!! were definitely holding the house down! The food was delicious! Well my juicy Reuben on marble bread was awesome!!!

If you are in Enumclaw, stop here for a bite. The pizzas were delicious, and the burger was a close second. We got the Emmett, crab and salmon, and the firecracker. Everything was spot on and the burger patty was a delicious mix of beef, bacon, and sausage. Jaron was super friendly, and provided samples of the beers on tap. Highly recommend stopping in for a bite and brew!

Small-town restaurant with friendly employees. Food was good. I had the crab & salmon pizza, which was really good. I was with a large party and everyone was happy with their food. The only drawback is that they really don’t have much room and large parties aren’t really good in a place like this. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. It wasn’t that busy, but there was no place for us to sit.

Wicked friendly place with some good food. Strolled in for a little food on s rainy afternoon. Had an amazing friendly sever named Aimee. Enjoyed a great local beer and a pizza. The pizza had a homemade pesto that was amazing. Chicken and BBQ sauce on it as well. My only complaint would be the ambiance of the interior. A little too open for my tastes. Regardless, a good find in a small town.

And our quest to try every place on the Plateau continues:) Here is our review of Jackson’s. On a side note, DON’T be distracted by the name«Jackson’s Pizza» they had TONS of other stuff besides pizza! The positive: –Good burgers(they were a little over cooked, so I would order one under what you usually do). –AWESOME kids menu(huge pizza for our little man) –GREAT beer selection –Amazing service The negatives: –I feel like I’m repeating what others have said, but the french onion soup was just WEIRD. Had two slices of bread on top, super sweet. –Burgers overcooked We will definitely be back to this place! We thought it had a great atmosphere and we had a wonderful lunch!

I get lunch to go from here every so often, and it is quite good, their sammies are big enough to split with someone or save half for another meal. I’ve tried a few of their soups and I was quite pleased, they had good flavor but not too salty which is always a difficult balance. The only thing I’ve had there that I wasn’t a fan of was their wraps, they just seemed to be lacking in flavor, I had one with chicken and a mango salsa and it fell short of my expectations, which were higher due to the deliciousness of the sammies. I think I will be sticking with them from now on.
