The clam strips and homemade tartar sauce were some of the best i’ve had. They also serve huge portions. Wasn’t a huge fan of their fries but overall, happy to have a good seafood place to go to year round.

Although it just opened. It appears to be well received by how many people were there the night we ate for the first time. Fast service food had awesome flavor. Downside is that not enough tables for private dining. My husband and I had to share a picnic table with 5 other people. .it takes any romance out of a couple night.

Review for Epping location but other info seems pertinent. I have loved North Hampton location forever, I’ve probably been there 35 times over the years never a bad experience. Loved Portsmouth the first three visits but three years ago I saw a cook eating scallops directly out of my to go container. I got my money back and have never stepped foot in there again. Epping, fried seafood is marginal, having grown up near Ipswich and Essex I’ll give them a mulligan on that one. Lobster roll tastes much more like frozen lobster than other locations, is it? Probably but improve your thawing meathods. If I’m wrong sorry it didn’t taste great or even close to as good as North Hampton. Employees are great, super, go above and beyond in Epping. But when a manager came out on break or something and sat on a table top to make a phone call ! I won’t be back. She seemed nice enough, pleasent and hard working. But as obscure and out of the way the table seems dont sit on table tops its not sanitary. I dont think anybody should lose thier job it falls back onto training. Its 33.3% quality 33.3% image and 33.3% service. Beach Plum getting bigger can be better sometimes and sometimes not.

Excellent food. One of us had lobster bisque. Filled with chunks of lobster. Enormous amount of fried clams for the money. Excellent French fries without heavy oily taste. Lobster roll tasty and plentiful. Had one mix up with an ordered item. Quickly fix without question. Sits are mostly picnic tables with benches. Difficult for elderly. But over all looking forward to going again.

This resturant is clean and a nice place to sit. But the way the food holds up 20 min later isn’t that good. We got takeout here and I got a burger. The bun was soggy and tasted gross. Come here if you are eating in. I have before and it is so much better. I will come back.

There are a good variety of restaurants in the Epping area but until recently seafood was not one of them. Looked forward to going to the Beach Plum. Inside the tables are of the picnic variety and it has a open feeling. Our food arrived within minutes of ordering so if you are looking for quick service this is a plus. With exception of the seasoned French fries(please get rid of the seasoning), everything was good including portion size. For non seafood eaters there is an above variety of options including wraps, salads, hamburgers, and foot long hot dogs. With all the positives there is one thing that will prevent me from visiting more often and that are the prices for which I find touristy. Overall a good meal with wick service but pricy.

Tried this today. I had the Haddock Basket(supposed to be the Special, though same price as regular menu with no add ons so not sure what that was about), and regular soda drink –$ 20, My Sis had Clam basket and a Shake — $ 25. The portions of clams and haddock were very small, maybe 6oz?, but the(filler) sweet potato fry portion was huge –we finished maybe a 1⁄3rd. The shake was also very small. All picnic tables(not a fan). Polite staff, fast service, very clean. Food was hot and tasty, but very overpriced for the portion of actual entrée provided.

Dissapointed. Recently moved to the area and heard nothing but rave reviews… maybe we came on an off night… unfortunately we won’t be back to find out. First off– expensive for what it is… many other delicious places in the area for far less. Second — the seating is awful… high benches that you have to step over to sit and not nearly enough seating for the space. But my main complaint and why we won’t be back: my boyfriend and I ordered a meal a piece. Five minutes after we were able to find a seat my food came…20(I’m not exaggerating) minutes later I was almost done and he still had no food. Went up to ask and they had no record of the order even though we were holding the reciept and my food came. They offered to make the meal but I was almost done so we requested a refund and he ate the rest of my meal… we left frustrated and still hungry and out way more money then I was comfortable with. Again — hoping it was an off night but sadly we won’t be back. Proceed with caution.

The Beach Plum is now open year round in Epping, away from the«beach» at Brickyard Square, just off NH101 Exit 7. The anticipated opening of their third location was posted on their website and on Facebook for December 23, 2015. They were selling their gift cards in a nearby temporary space during the construction. The gift cards are 25 percent off during their sale through the holidays. The Epping Beach Plum officially opened for business at 4pm today. I’ve been stopping at the original Beach Plum location(seasonal) across from North Hampton beach and the Portsmouth Beach Plum(open year round), for great ice cream, chowder, fried seafood, and good sized lobster rolls. The Beach Plum has also won the Best of NH honors for the best lobster roll. Similar to The Beach Plum in Portsmouth, this location is also open year round with indoor counter service and finished picnic table seating. Like the other locations, the menu offerings here include lobster rolls(reg or footlong), subs, wraps, sandwiches, footlong hot dogs, seafood dinners, salads, chowder, chili, lobster bisque, Coke beverages(self serve fountain), and around 78 flavors of premium ice cream & frozen yogurt. Beer(8 on tap) & wine available too. I stopped in here for dinner takeout today and the place was not mobbed, unlike the packed and gridlocked parking lot outside during the busy holiday shopping season. There were plenty of staff on hand in the kitchen area, mostly younger workers. I usually order a“beach style” Lobster Roll with a bag of Wachusett potato chips and clam chowder. However on this visit, I ordered the Haddock Sandwich($ 9.99) with fries and a Small Sundae($ 5.99) totaling $ 17.42 without drinks. The Haddock Sandwich had lightly breaded and deep fried haddock with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on a soft Kaiser bun. The fries were hot and crispy. The food was a bit greasy, but tasty, which counts in my book. The Sundae was the right size with a scoop of hard coffee Kahlua brownie ice cream(my choice), hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts, and cherry on top. I used my «discounted» Beach Plum gift card to pay for the order, though being very new, their system could not read it. They accepted it and value will be deducted later when things are running. I enjoyed my fried fish sandwich and fries and my hot fudge sundae during«non beach» weather at the new Beach Plum in Epping.
