You would think that you were walking into Dillards or Nordstrom the way they act. Their clothing has much to be desired. The last time I was in there, I felt like I was at a Goodwill store in a upscale neighborhood. I get a better price and nicer clothing at Macy’s without the attitude. They have to remember, they are resale not retail. You need to get over yourselves.

It’s a smaller store so their clothes selection is kind of limited but I find all of my favorite purses and wallets here. Since it’s a second hand store, the prices are right.

I was impressed with how nice, neat, and organized they were. I’m not a shopper. I down right dread it. But this visit was different. I love a good deal and they had lots of them. I started with the 50% off section. Then onto my size section. So easy to scoot through the hangers. Found lots of things I liked. Plenty of dressing rooms with plenty of room to «twist and pose». Jk Went home with 7 shirts that I loved… all for $ 50. This makes me want to shop more. I usually buy one maybe two for $ 50…and I don’t always love them. The customer service rep I had was friendly and a natural at the art of small talk.

I have stopped by this store on and off and have rarely found items that were worth the price. I had a very bad experience when I took clothing there for consignment. I had a number of items with designer labels and some with high end store labels; Charter Club, Nygard, Tahari suits, etc. I had every item dry cleaned by Widmers. The woman who considered my items took only a few items for consignment which was her choice. What was really insulting was her attitude. She treated the other items as though they were not worthy of Snooty Fox, sighing in an exasperated manner, even though the items were for the appropriate season and still in style. By the time you pay to have items dry cleaned, you get almost nothing once they take their generous cut. I now donate and take it off my taxes.

This is the only Snooty Fox location I have experience with, but there are several in the tri-state area. This location is divided in two sections — the Furniture Den on one side and the other side for clothes, accessories and the like. As another reviewer mentioned, the great majority of the furniture/home items in the Furniture Den are a little outdated but this particular location is not exactly in a posh area of Northern Kentucky. Personally, I think the clothing section has a lot more to offer. There is a decent selection of clothes for men and women, and kids too, and a pretty good — but limited — selection of accessories and shoes. I’ve sold furniture and home items at this location — two couches and a few Longaberger baskets — as well as clothing. I feel like the prices are fair, but I would recommend selling on consignment(especially large or collectible items) as a last resort after you’ve exhausted Craigslist and eBay. The other thing to know is if you do choose to sell something on consignment, do not forget to call and check periodically if your items are sold or visit the location to find out. If you don’t claim your earnings, Snooty Fox absorbs them which means you just donated your stuff for them to sell for you for free. They explain these terms when you open your consignment account.

I haven’t much luck finding anything here. Their prices are high for what they’re selling and I find the employees to be rather unfriendly. I wish they didn’t seem to have idea that they have to be actually snooty to work there.

Resale shops are hit or miss, and this one falls in the miss category. Musty Salvation Army-esque smell, indifferent employees, and overpriced outdated merchandise. There’s plenty other consignment shops in Northern KY that offer a better experience. Snooty Fox is open on Sundays though… so it does have that going for it, which is nice.
