Extra Space Storage

Annette had amazing customer service. These are the cleanest and they have the best prices around. The best thing for me is having access to my storage all day every day, 6am to 10pm daily.

I was pleased with the storage web rate of $ 11/​month for a 5×10 unit. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility especially being that i am «OCD». I however was not told that there is an additional $ 13/​month insurance fee that is mandatory. I was told that when I went into sign the lease that all that would be due was $ 11 plus an initial one time fee of about $ 16. Basically I am on a VERY tight budget and was expecting to pay $ 27 that day. I was told when I went in by the manager about the fee. I understand that the facility has a good web rate even with the insurance, but it was unexpected, unplanned, and $ 16 is still a lot of extra money for me to come by. I was already stressing in my head about purchasing a lock and figured I would get a cheap one from the dollar store and when I could afford a better lock I would get one. The manager offered to throw in a lock for the unexpected charge of insurance. That definitely helped and was appreciated although I was and concerned about the total month to month fee being more than expected. Anyways, i went home to lug my large entertainment center over and had basically pushed it a few blocks to the facility because it was much too heavy for two people to lift into my truck. the manager was just about to close when she came out, offered to help us wedge it on to her golf cart and as we pushed it and get it to my storage unit which was stil quite a ways away and was not going to be easy since i had broken a few wheels on the way. I was shocked and very appreciative because people dont go out of their way these days to help others let alone help lift heavy objects when its quitting time for them. I am giving 4 stars and would love to give 5, but the fact that they didnt mention the insurance fee over the phone and told me I only needed to have $ 27 that day wasnt right to me especially being on a budget. If i could afford more, it wouldnt have been a big deal. Hopefully they can be sure to inform others about this because you never know what anyones financial situation is and a mere $ 16 bucks could be someones meals for a week. Very pleased with the manager, though and her willingness to jump in and help!

This facility is by far one of the best storage companies around. The staff is just unreal, super friendly, helpful, the website makes it so easy to pay your rent and keep things up to date. I had a 10×10 unit and it was always clean, dry and VERY secure. I really cannot say enough good things about this facility.
