I have received the best customer service from Amanda. I have been unsuccessful with the shoes I wanted to purchase, I almost gave up after calling a few Clarks stores and Nordstrom. And this store was my last hope. Thank you Amanda! for going above and beyond to track down the shoes and shipped from Santa Monica overnight. I just received the shoes from UPS, just in time to bring with me to my trip. My friend will be happy. All the Clarks’ associates I have spoken to have all provided friendly service over the phone and are very knowledgeable with their products.

My partner and I were just in the store 10 minutes ago and we were holding a shoe in our hands for 5 minutes. Both employees in the store looked at us, did not once say«hello», even upon entering or bothered to ask us if we needed help. They continued to help two other customers that came in. Common customer service protocol would be to at least acknowledge our presence and say«Sorry for the wait, we’ll be right there» but we were blatantly ignored. I’m not one to jump to conclusions like this, but we were obviously profiled. There was a 99.9% chance we were going to buy the shoes we picked out, but we are now 100% sure we will never be supporting this business again. We had a great day up until that point and this experience pretty much put our mood in a funk for the rest of the evening. Thanks a lot.

Mom and I were having a shopping day and she really liked the my boots and wanted a pair. The only problem is that I bought them at a Clarks store in the UK and apparently they have fairly different styles stocked. But we went in anyway because you just never know. There was a pair that was similar to mine, but Mom wasn’t impressed with them. As we were looking, I did see a pair of shoes that I just had to try on. I’m not sure if you would consider them booties or heels, but it is somewhere between the two. The lady who helped us went to get the pair I was looking at in my size. At first I wasn’t sure she was very keen on us, but as we chatted, she really warmed up. She also brought out more shoe options… similar to the ones that I was looking at just in case I wanted to see a different style. However, the ones that I tried on… heavenly! Not only were they cute, but they were so very comfortable. I mean the cushion in this shoe is like a pillowtop mattress! Normally I have to sacrifice style for comfort or vice versa, but not on this shoe. The lighting in the store is also a bit deceptive because sometimes it looked brown and other times it looked grey, but the associate said that Pewter was the official name of the colour, and Pewter to me = grey. Mom decided she was going to try it on too. At this point, we had just started shopping, the mall had just opened, so I thought we should walk around, see if there was anything else and also I wanted to try them on again after I had been walking awhile, just to make sure that it wasn’t a false sense of comfort. The associate offered to hold them for us, so when we decided to come back, they wouldn’t have to look for the shoes. Fast forward 2 hours… I just couldn’t get these shoes out of my head and I love heels, I love comfortable ones, and more importantly all of my heels for work are open toe… not a problem if your commute to the office is five flight of stairs from your apartment or if you are working in some place like San Diego, but I am moving to Wisconsin… just in time for winter no less. And when I moved back from the UK, I had to dump a lot of shoes as they wouldn’t fit in my suitcases and the one thing I was missing was a good solid pair of closed-toe shoes(heels or flats) that would be good in cold weather. The great thing about these shoes is that they are great with jeans and will be perfect with my dress trousers… they may be cute with a skirt or two as well. We went back to the store because lets be honest, my mom and I usually sacrifice comfort for cute shoes and as a result we are probably ruining our feet, and to find a shoe that ticks both the boxes… well… We stood there and I didn’t ask any other associates for help because I was going to wait for the original associate, Shauna to help us. She was quite busy as some of her other co-workers were… well they weren’t busy. After awhile, one of the other associates came up to ask if she could help us and we just asked for some sizes in the shoes we wanted to try on. Shauna made her way over to us to clear away shoes that had been tried on earlier and abandoned, and then headed back to get the shoes she had set aside for me. I ended up getting them and love them! Yes… I am currently wearing them around the house… like a kid getting a new pair of shoes! Shauna was great, especially with my mom who has lots of requirements and can see what she wants in her head(at least I think she does…), but has a hard time communicating that. She was very friendly, not pushy at all, and even got out a catalog so my mom could see if anything matched her requirements. When she rang us up, we did get a Clarks Club Card… if you spend $ 400 you get a gift card for $ 40 on your next purchase. I will say that the one thing I was a little disappointed about was that they have signs for sales, but there were very few items that were actually on sale as it was only on select items. I was hoping I was going to get 20% off, but didn’t. However, I love these shoes so much and because Clarks are such good, reliable shoes, I know that it is money well spent. If you are in the market for boots or something just catches your eye, ask for Shauna, she is great and will take good care of you.
