Closetbox Storage

ClosetBox is great! Rather than trying to find a storage facility and then haul all my stuff there, ClosetBox took care of everything. You use their website to generate a list of your boxes, print out 2D bar-​code labels for each box, and then they come and pick up your stuff and store it. They’ll even do multiple pick-​ups. They will apparently also handle furniture. I had nothing but boxes and for my ~20 items the costs were comparable to (or less than) what a self-​storage place would have cost me, but without the hassle of getting my stuff there.

Closetbox is simply an amazing concept, if you have a need for storage, they will come and pick your items up, take them to a secure storage facility near you and when you are ready to have your items back, they will deliver them back to you, full removal and pick up of your items, the rates are amazing when you consider you are not having to deal with the hauling of your items. I loved my experience and would highly recommend them to any and all who need storage, it takes all the pain out of moving and storing.

I would definitely recommend Closet Box Storage! Let’s be honest, moving can be stressful! Working with this company certainly helped make the experience easy and far less painful. So the way it works is it is kind of like a mover and storage in one. This was perfect for me, as I was in between homes and needed a place for my stuff in the meantime. The movers come and pick up your items in a moving truck. They do a good job of taking inventory making sure your items are packed properly. I would recommend using your own packing paper, bubble wrap, etc, as your items are then taken to a facility where they are put in a large wooden box (they come in different sizes and your «rent» is determined by the amount of stuff you have) and the boxes are stacked one on top of the other. Although it is not typically part of the process, I was able to see the facility – it was clean organized. The reason I was at the facility was because I realized about a week after my stuff was stored that I forgot my passport, of all things, in one of my boxes and was leaving for Mexico in a few days. Taylor was incredibly helpful and reassuring that I would be able to go to the facility and get my passport, and she was absolutely right! It was a close call and I really appreciated her support, especially when I called her about a million times over the course of a few days.
I was able to schedule the drop off of my stuff at my new place about a week after my request, possibly due to the Christmas holiday. The movers were on time and were able to bring my stuff up to the 4^th floor with little difficulty. My only complaint is that the moving company broke my bookcase and were only willing to reimburse me $ 36. Luckily, Julie from Closetbox contacted my directly and gave me an additional $ 75 to cover the replacement of my item.
If you are considering using this company, I would say go for it! I am a satisfied costumer and am glad I found them, as they were perfect for my unique needs.
