I was honestly too scared to come back to great khan’s because I thought i’d have to interact with this mean old lady that used to work here, but then I decided to come again and noticed there’s totally new workers, even had a conversation about how it’s under NEWMANAGEMENT. Thank God! They were really nice and super let you put as much items you can fit in your bowl, also poured more Seasoned sauce onto your bowl. They’ll cook your food first, then add some noodles! The two gentlemen that worked there were nice and helpful! Im comin’ back more often!

Older lady was very rude & snatched my bowl away from me while I was adding my toppings & started pooring whatever seasonings she wanted on it. I don’t recommend this place

I don’t recommend this location to anyone! It’s a total rip off, they charge $ 3 for extra noodles, meanwhile other locations only charge $ 1 – 2. While I’m stacking my bowl with meat the staff tells me «that’s enough» are you serious? That was rude & my bowl was only filled halfway. I never had any other locations complain about the amount I’m putting in my bowl. Waste of money & respect.

I left 1 star because I can not leave zero. The stuffs(In Via Rancho PKWY –Escondido, CA) extremely rude you can not believe that just the chief is nice guy. I wont go to this place any more and don’t recommend it at all.

Don’t even bother coming here. I love great khans but this location is a rip off. When it came to my noodles, the guy only gave me 2 small tiny tong full. It was barely anything! I’ve been to many other locations where I can fully stack my own bowl and they give me another bowl full of noodles. Not worth $ 11

If I could give no stars I would. Myra told me I had«too much». She took the bowl out of my hand. And when she added the noodles she conveniently tipped my bowl so that the noodles fell off! This woman is very rude. I will not be going back. btw the location in Plaza Bonita will dump your bowl on the grill then refill with noodles.

The whole family enjoys the food here. I always get the chicken, but hubby gets the steak and they season it perfectly every time.

Just as everyone else said, the worker I interacted with was rude. The chief was nice. I do not recommend this place. Though the proportions are large, the quality of the food does not match its price. The worker gave me three scoops of soy sauce when I did not ask for it and my food was very greasy. I now have a tummy ache):

If you want good customer service, avoid this place at all costs. The lady, who I assume runs this place, is a crude, cheap woman. She’ll make you pay to stack your bowl. I used to come here all the time and I will be going elsewhere.

The food was decent, the noodles seem a bit tasteless, a little too pricey for two #1’s(came up to 20.21 $) but really isnt worth the money. Id say the best stir fry or mongolian like stir fry is sarku japan’s just because it’s not too pricey it comes up to 6 – 7 $ for an order of teriyaki chicken and noodle replacement and it’s delicious. If you want delicious food and not for the high price go to sarku japan, if you’re thinking decent-crappy food go to great khans.

NEVERAGAIN! The food is mediocre now compared to it’s earlier days, and the service is terrible. There is one lady in particular that is related to the owner, and every time I go there(which is not often) she seems more upset than the last time I saw her. The overall experience would be a lot more pleasant under different management. My cousin went to grab our food that we were sharing, which was teetering on the counter, she barely grazed the box and it fell off the counter toward grill. We said nothing about it, and we assumed we would be compensated in some sort of way, but instead the manager rang up another bowl. We refused to pay again and she had the nerve to blame our children, a 3 and 1 year old, for the spill who were in a stroller and the other was 4 feet away. We had to go speak to mall management who had to coerce her into giving us more food and while we filled our second bowl she hovered and told us it was only for one person and then yelled at the grill cook for putting to many noodles in our bowl. I will NEVERGOBACKHERE!

The vegetables were stale and the guy taking the order was almost annoyed that I interrupted him. I know this is fast good but at least have fresh food. This is a pricey place for fast food.

Updating my recent review because we ordered the seafood the last time around, and paid extra for it. However, when my bf and I saw what«seafood» they were adding to our plate, it was literally 2 pieces of shrimp and about 4 pieces of imitation crab. My advice — don’t pay the extra for the seafood, it’s a jip!

The food is ok at this location. Even though the menu says there are three options, you can only order #1 which is the Mongolian BBQ only. The veggie options are sparse compared to other locations but the trick to getting more in your bowl is to get flat pieces of meat and push it all to one side. That way you have room to fill the rest of the bowl with veggies and other items. The lady at the register is slightly rude and uninterested. She yawned and looked completely bored as she processed my order. The food is pretty good overall though hence the 3 stars.

This is one of my favorite fast food joints. You can choose what you want. The guy who grilled my food did a good job. They accept cash, VISA, and MasterCard. They need to get their sign fixed. Most of the sign does not light up properly. It makes the place look like zombies run it.

Love Mongolian grills and this place is better than Stir Fresh for sure. Service isn’t a reason to come here but the delicious food most definitely is. By far my favorite place in the mall. Ask for sesame seeds and sprinkle some on top, you wont regret it.

I’m generally a fan of Mongolian grills but this place was definitely lacking. First, they have three options on their menu but in reality they only had the one: the traditional noodles, meat and veggies. No rice, no soup, as advertised. Second, as others have mentioned, the service could be better. The woman who rang me up never cracked a smile and I was afraid to ask her for ice water! However, the man that grilled the food was far more pleasant and even assisted me in selecting the sauces. Third, although we put plenty of sauce on the food, it really didn’t end up having a whole lot of flavor. I had chicken and beef in my bowl but could hardly tell the difference(aside from the color) between the two. The noodles also could have been cooked a little longer; I like it when they get just slightly burnt and crispy. I suppose it was decent for mall food but I’ll find a different Mongolian grill for when I’m not shopping at the mall.

Run by Zombies. Scratch that, even Zombies stagger around and moan now and again. The two owners(?) stand around without as much as a yawn. I even tried to catch them scoping out the scantly clad teens but no. C’mon, you’re old dudes working at a mall. Why else would you be working there?!. You’ll notice the selection of veg and protein is space compared to other Mongolian Restaurants. I wouldn’t try and push down the contents of your bowl to make more space. I suspect doing so would awaken the two sleeping guards from their slumber. The food itself was pretty good. One of the better options in the food court. Mostly Harmless

Michael L. is right. This location is by far the worst Great Khan’s. The manager lied to me when I worked in the mall as an employee and told me that I couldn’t get a food discount rather than the drink they offer with a combo. If I don’t drink fountain drinks, what good is a free drink to me? At the location in UTC, they always discounted my food since I didn’t drink sodas or anything.(UTC mall has the best Great Khan’s, by the way.) Oh, and she told me that the reason she couldn’t give me the food discount was that the manager«doesn’t let her.» I found out later that she IS the manager. Liar, liar, pants on fire! They are missing several of the meat and vegetable options that the other Great Khan’s Mongolian Festivals provide. And I have no idea what it is about the food or the cooking process, but the add-ins always taste like nothing, and the noodles always stick together and are quite tough. Yuck. You know a place is bad when you offer your dog the left-overs at home and she sniffs them and walks away!
