McDonald’s

This place is a joke. It’s severely understaffed all hours of the day. We sat in the drive through for five minutes and only two cars moved forward. We finally got out and went in and it wasn’t any better.
After looking at the reviews on this place I shouldn’t be surprised by how bad the service was and yet it still managed to be worse than I expected.

$ 4.19 for an Egg McMuffin? Not the combo. Just the sandwich.
Have to be kidding me. This location is out of their minds.

Service when you walk into the restaurant is OK and on par with all other McDonalds, but be wary when ordering at the drive through. Regardless of if your order is big or small, ALWAYS check your stuff before leaving the drive through window. They will find a way to surprise you with some sort of **** up every time. And this isn’t limited to lunch rush or anything; it happens at all hours of the day. I don’t know what’s wrong with this location, but they are always consistently getting things wrong.

Horrible service! Customers walked away because nobody have them attention. The front counter didn’t know anything about the menu when I asked, had to repeat my order a few times and it was still wrong. Never coming back here.

4 stars for the play place in the evening I’m sure during the day it’s super hot! Bathrooms were clean. We got fries that were fresh, we don’t eat the meat at McDonald’s!

We stopped in to this McDonald’s on our way to the San Diego Safari Park. The place was clean and the service was ok. We ordered a Chicken Club Grilled sandwich, 2 McDoubles, and a McChicken.
All the food came out tasting like any other McDonald’s.
It was a good visit for us.

Terrible McDonalds!!! Really not much more to say, but I will elaborate. Service is non-​existence. My mom and I stopped in on our way to Riverside, me wanting some sweet tea. It was a joke. We parked and walked in. A couple seemed to have been waiting for some time for their food. The guy commented on how it would have been faster to just have gone through the drive-​thru. We stood there for three minutes and not one person on line was served as the people behind the counter were looking at each other like what do I do. Never again for this location. What a joke!

I came here to see if they had the holiday pie and grab a diet coke. I found the location to be a bit weird because it is tucked into a corner of the strip mall.
When I pulled up some automatic recording bellowed out something about ordering a McGriddle. It was around 4pm so it only served to startle me and then remind me how much I wish McDonalds served breakfast all day.
Holiday Pie $ 1: It has sprinkles which is sorta holiday I guess. I would call it more of a birthday pie. In fact, in honor of all the people who have a birthday on or really close to the holidays and get shafted on gifts/​attention I will dub this the «Holiday Birthday Pie.»
The filling was a bit plain. It was a cheerful little pie though and I welcomed that.

Pretty quick in the drive thru but the employees are not very personable. They all look depressed and put out when you ask them to do something extra for you. I only go there because it is the only drive thru fast food place near my work.

I now work nearby, so have returned to this McDonald’s, and I’m pleased to note that they’ve improved greatly since 2010. Swift, efficient service via drivethru, and when the fries are fresh, they’re *heavenly.*

Food… hey, it’s McDonalds. Service… consistently slow and disorganized, regardless of time of day or workload. This location has been like this for years. I live near this one and usually drive to one that’s much farther away because it’s faster even with the drive.

Worst McDonald’s I have EVER been too. And this is EVERY time I go. I only go here Cuz it’s convenient. But they always are slow. 90% of the time mess your order up. You literally have to check your bag every time to make sure your order is right and it never is. It’s in a bad place. And they are rude and act as if they hate their job. This time in particular the menu that I ordered on said my order with cheese. We pulled forward and at that point the guy proceeded to tell me that it would cost extra for cheese even though they didn’t charge it on the screen near the menu. Then one of my sandwiches didn’t have cheese. Told the lady. She made sure to read the wrapper like I would make that up and brought me back the sandwich and handed it to me and didn’t even apologize!!! Worst service! Ever!!!
Oh and I opened my sandwich to check for spit Cuz you never know with these places and found something that looked like a piece of thread. Attached is a pic.

As far as McDonald’s goes, I haven’t been very impressed with this place. The drive thru is always slower than the average fast food place. I noticed the trash bin area left open as well. I know it may have been someone that put trash in there not from the establishment, but really should be looked after.

So I went yesterday…
Cousin and I only ordered 3 things (40pcs chicken nuggets and 2 double cheeseburgers)…guy taking our order definitely wasn’t even payin attention most of the time because I had to repeat my order more than 4 times and I didnt even speak quickly! He was too busy joking with another coworker to notice paying customers. Almost rang us for a 4pcs chicken nuggets and 2 mcdoubles. Seriously dude? What don’t you understand about a 40 piece chicken nugget order and 2 double cheeseburgers? If I said I wanted a mcdouble I would have asked for that. So I gave 1 star for actually having freshly done chicken nuggets… and no stars for service even though I was the only one in line. My first time here and my last. Even the one in the mall has better service.

Straight up sucked. Worst service ever!

The worst Micky Ds. They don’t use the order window thus one must attempt to be heard over the freeway noise. They are continually out of items and the ice cream machine seldom works. Calls to owners aren’t returned.

Their customer service sucks. & their tax here is either ridiculously high or they charge extra for lettuce & mayo. =/​I didn’t get a receipt with my order do I couldn’t tell ya. But I wouldn’t come here again. =/

This place needs to take a little time in teaching staff how to cook the food completely and it would be nice if you got silverware with your food. Not fun eating the runny eggs and pancakes with your fingers. They did make it some what easer by not giving any syrup. On the plus side they did give me plenty of napkins.

I have eaten at this McDonald’s a number of times. I do not recall ever getting an order that was not cooked the same as any other in their chain. So, food is not an issue.
What is an issue is customer service, cleanliness of the facility and no drink dispenser in the eating area.
This is a very small facility with probably no more than 12 – 14 tables. It can be very crowded at peak meal times.
In my opinion, the most severe problem is the staff behind the counter. My guess, the core issue is a lack of proper training rather than the fault of all the employees. If instructed properly, managed closely and a capable shift manager on site at all times, there would be a substantial improvement in service.
Since the seating is so limited, I see a high percentage of customers ordering take out from the counter plus a busy drive through window. However, just like today, I came in to the counter and 8 people were ahead of me at 12:45PM on a Saturday. There was only one person working the counter (a continuing problem) who when after taking an order, then has to leave the counter to complete it on a tray they place on the counter. This appears very time consuming and certainly is frustrating to those in line. The attention of the staff seemed much more centered on the drive through window. At some point, a second person came to take orders but then other person seemed to disappear. All I know, it is not a fun experience to walk in and see a line knowing how slow it can be get your food. I always think about someone waiting for a take out order and is in a hurry.
While I have noticed an improvement in keeping the floor clean, there is no regular timing in cleaning tables. Most of the time I have to take napkins to my table so I can wipe off the crumbs or liquids. The rest rooms are small a heavily used. Like the tables, they need more frequent attention.
I do not recall being treated rudely by any of the employees but I will say that quite a few do not seem to really be focused on their job responsibilities which comes off like they do not care about the customer. It is like that great convenience store clerk quote, «This would be great place to work if it weren’t for the customers.»
Lastly, it is a pain to have to walk up to the counter and wait to get a refill when the place is busy. It probably is not practical to locate in the ordering area due to lack of space but it still an issue.
I don’t know about other customers but if I have time and want McDonald’s food, I go to an excellent one on W. Valley in Escondido where I can sit comfortably and watch TV.

2. The employees always have an attitude.
3. I never get anything fresh, it always taste like it’s been out for too long.
4. It’s never clean.
5. Just take an extra 15 minutes to go the Mickey D’s in the mall.
