This is the 4^th time Ive ordered pizza at this location, and again super dry. I always add on my order extra sauce, never happens. Besides ok.

Recently ordered the big dinner box from pizza hut which included two pizzas (we got on pizza with toppings of mushrooms and chicken and the other with just cheese and jalapeños), boneless hot wings, and their special bread sticks and on top of that we ordered a side of pasta and a cookie pizza thing. Everything was so delicious and was amazing! Especially the cookie pizza! :)

Pizza was ready on time, with very fresh and tasty ingredients (all veggie). Appreciate the option of choosing your crust. I got hand-​tossed crust and it was good. Nice that they offer discounts, too. One small gripe: wish the Pizza Hut employees would park farther away from their store — 3 of their vehicles were taking nearby parking spaces the nite I went — makes it difficult for customers.

I’ve been a regular at Pizza Hut this past month or two I normally go to one in South San Diego. I went to this one in the early evening. As I was waiting at the counter for about five minutes and was not greeted as I was peeking through the back room from the front counter and in the back I could see employees were texting on their phone and laughing as I stood and waited as they did not even acknowledge my prescence. I thought that was really rude, even if they weren’t working the front it did not seem quite right. It wasn’t until the cashier came out to the front to give a gentleman who was sitting down waiting for his order that I finally got greeted. She then took my order and was alright, the whole experience would have been better if I didn’t feel ignored from the beginning. It was about a 20 minute wait after she had quoted me 15 minutes which is fine. The only reason I would come back would be for the dinner box which is a great deal with one topping pizza and two sets of breadsticks which come with 2 dipping sauces. Other than that the customer service I would say is about average or below average I would say.

Very rude cashier. Don’t usually go to Pizza Hut but decided to stop by since my SO wanted to try it. I asked them about their $ 10 deal, she rudely told me ya it’s on the banner in the door, asked for the menu which she rudely pointed in front of her and she rudely added «if you want a simple one it’s on the board» which only read the price and the size of pizza. This was the reason why I stopped going to Pizza Hut and this is the reason why I will never go back again specially to this location. I have been working in restaurant business for more than 5 years from being server to cashier to manger. And one thing I can say is that even if the food sucks customer service is what helps he business bring in people. Which of course this place doesn’t care about

I’ve been to this location about ten times, it’s the closest spot to my house in Escondido.
Every time I’ve visited, I’ve ordered over the phone and picked up in a reasonable amount of time with great success.
The prices are decent, the pizza is pretty damn good and the service is what you’d expect. Maybe you’re not going to be wowed out of your socks, but this is Pizza Hut, not Vintanas so set your expectations a little lower.
All-​in-​all this place gets the order right, the price is right and the amount of time it takes to make a pizza is reasonable. What more can you ask for?

I received such good service and food here last night! From the man that answered the phone, to the delivery driver, and the food. It exceeded my expectations :) Thank you!

Ordered a Lg. Meat lovers pizza and 8p. wings, both were very good. Food was hot when I picked it up and ready when they said it would be and I didn’t get a stomach ache in the middle of the night like when I eat Pappa Johns. Minus 1 star because they charge for the ranch dressing for the wings. Over all GREAT!

OH MY GAWD! We just had the most godawful experience with this Pizza Hut. It’s so bizarre. My husband used his iPhone app to order two pizzas from Pizza Hut. One the way he likes it and one the way I like it. After the 50 minute wait, they arrived, the delivery guy was nice, the transaction went fine and he went away. We took the boxes into the kitchen, opened the first and lo and behold the pizza was wrong. We looked in the second box and there was my husband’s made correctly — what a surprise. I’m always the one that gets the short end, but I digress.
My husband, being the loving man he is, called the pizza place to explain the situation. The girl he spoke to gave him a little hassle saying we’d have to pick it up and yadda yadda, but after «checking with her manager» agreed to remake the pizza and switch it out.
2 minutes later they call us back and tell us they no longer have that type of crust. Well, sure part of me is cranky at this point, I mean I didn’t want pizza in the first place, but I don’t want to eat the crust I don’t like, so I say, just forget it. Tell them we don’t want it. They can pick it up or leave it, but just credit the $ 10 back to us. Yeah, I said $ 10. This is all over $ 10.
Well, the girl argued and was kind of a jerk so my husband asked for the manager. After speaking to Ernesto, the manager, for a ridiculously long time, we just gave up. Ernesto continued to REPEAT «I can make you a new pizza with a different crust». My husband continued to say, «my wife doesn’t like that crust, so no.» We’re now just going to charge back the whole transaction to the credit card. My husband even told him we would do it and the guys answer? I can make you a new pizza on a different crust.“
Let me say we have been buying our pizza here for YEARS. It’s really the only place we buy pizza. And, this guy was totally willing to lose our business and the business of anyone who listens to my story and agrees. I am so shocked that anyone would do business this way.
You can go there if you want. I did for years. Never again. Any recommendations on a good pizza place that delivers in South Escondido???

Literally live around the corner and have waited over an hour for 2 small orders of wings. When ordering, the lady on the phone told me to have a nice night and hung up while I was still talking. Still talking because I thought they might like to know the gate code. So I had to call back. Oh and you want wings? Got to pay extra for ranch. Save yourself the experience with this chronically mismanaged pizza hut and just go to wings-​n-​things.
