Shell Food Mart

The car wash has flaws. The sprayers don’t wor correctly. The drying cycle doesn’t work — our car was still wet when it completed.

The car wash at this Shell takes WAY TOO LONG. It does a great job cleaning the car and the soap smell great but for a gas station car wash it’s just too slow. Maybe if the drying part was separate like most other car wash facilities it would help speed up the process. That way one car could be drying while the other is getting washed.

This place is dirty. Overpriced just a convienence. Not again attendent playing with cell phone ciuldnt get attention

Ugh! I made a gas purchase of less than $ 40! And Shell proceeds to HOLD $ 97.32 from my account! Why?!! Why double the amount??? Idiots. So I call my bank and they need merchant ID & name and so I call Shell and the dumb cashier says she is not authorized to give that information and to call in AM and speak to manager. Oh, i will and he will hear me! :)

I go here kind of a lot. It’s not that it’s cheap… because it’s not. But, it isn’t much more than anywhere else and it’s super convenient being right off the freeway.
They also have giant fountain sodas for cheap prices.
They also have a car wash. If you’re lucky, you can run through it and get the outside of your cleaned up, but if you are not lucky there will be a 6 car line for it… it’s crazy, but people must seriously love this car wash. Even the Esco coppers are getting their cars washed here! Doesn’t the city do that or something? Anyway, if it’s not packed, the car wash is handy.
You’ll see me here. I’m hoping to catch that skittles midget there some time. Wait… was that rude? Sorry. Skittles Little Person.

Good place for a quick car scrub!

This is my go-​to gas station. The location is great (right off the freeway). It’s very roomy and easy to get around. They do have a great selection inside the store, and the Mexican restaurant they have here smells great (haven’t tried eating there yet).
The prices are generally pretty good here, and they have diesel which makes them even more convenient.
I have two things that frustrate me quite a bit about this place —
1. They’ll let different people come in that try and sell car cleaning supplies and want to try them on your car… irritating! Please stay away from my car!
2. The diesel pumps can be very slow if there is one vehicle on each side of it… the gas pumps don’t seem to have this issue.

This place is a life saver. We partied in San Diego a few weeks back, and got to our buddies pad around 3am.
Thirsty as hell we decide to go to 7eleven in the area… and to our surprise… IT WAS CLOOOOOOOSED!!!
Since when does a 7eleven close??? seriously??? come on people, 31 years of my existence, and ive never seen one closed. maybe temporarily uncomfortable and snug while theyre re-​stocking, but never are they closed.
so we shoot up the street to circle-​K… in hopes that theyd be open. all lights on, NO STAFF, Doors locked.
and right off the FWY i remember seeing this place.
we got there, checked the door. open.
BOOM
Arizona green teas for all of us!!!

RIght off the freeway…
Lots of room to maneuver your way around here.
Never too busy since there’s another gas station just a block away.
This location has a large mart, purell sanitizer machines, and even the squeegies are twice the normal size.
Type in your Ralphs phone number and you may get 10 cents off per gallon.

The last gas station. convenience store if you’re heading north, the first if you’re heading south. There is another shell station less than half a block down the street, but this one is right off the freeway. If you’re in need of gas and quick snack, then stop in. If you want more food choices and a fast food mexican restaurant (unfortunately not open late), then drive down a little.

I’m really hungover and I’m not feeling very creative, so I’m just gonna jot down a list of crap that sucks about this gas station… and ONE thing that rules.
Crap:
+Always busy since it’s right next to the freeway
+Car Wash sucks
+Pumps are always broken and it takes for-​EV-​er to authorize your credit card
Awesome:
+I once saw a midget pumping gas while eating a bag of Skittles here. That’s worthy of an extra star, for sure.
