Great adobada de res!!! Marinated beef. It’s so Damn good. About $ 2.99-$ 3.99 a pound. Get it it’s worth the taste. Fresh mexican cheese. I’ve tried to find good carne asada around Escondido but this is the place that provides it. The market is full of a great selection of mexican foods. From pan dulce to spices to cheeses. Don’t be fooled by the small aisles in this store, you will find delicious items stocked to the top. Come by and try it out.

Carne Asada: Super tasty, really moist and always hits the spot. Fresh made salsa: pretty damn spicy, even their least spiciest one. Fresh made guacamole: pretty damn spicy. We will always come and get the carne asada and probably try their other marinated meats. The ladies that work there are really nice and willing to answer any questions you may have! *I can handle heat pretty well, I’m not a baby when it comes to it!

Small little shop in a beat down strip mall right off centre city parkway. A co worker told me about this about this place. It’s been a few years since I have made it back, don’t really get up here to often anymore. Like most of these places, it’s super small with products crammed every where. But if you walk down the middle isle it opens up into the meat counter area.( ) Big tall coolers beef and pork in one side. In the middle chicken, cheeses and tortillas, peppers surround the bottom. I got the flap meat $ 5 something a pound. The meat is not marinated in the case you have to ask and they do it behind the counter. The marinade is a vinegary with citrus and spices. I normally get it then put it in the frig for a day or two. They also make there own salsa a red sauce. Its made with a bunch of different peppers, has a earthy taste. It’s one of those salsa were if you stop eating it the burn starts. So I just keep eating it then take all the pain at the end. The carne is great, salsa is great . Nice little place to pick up some Mexican fixings.

Great local market! They have the best carne asada in town! Don’t cheap out, buy the good cut of meat! It is worth it! There is next to no fat on it but its still tender and seasoned well! Grab some guacamole to go with it. We love Lopez Market!

This is one of those great little meat market and grocery places you gotta have in your neighbor hood. You just don’t know better so you mossy on over to Ralph’s because you have a club card and they have a Starbucks inside. I have probably been in here 20times since I moved in about 2 blocks away a year or so ago and they always have what I need. 6pack or beer, Check! Guacamole fixins… Check! Milk… Eggs, Basics… Check! I came in here Saturday night for a quick dinner to grill up at home… I went in back to their great little«meat market area» and got a few pounds of marinated beef skirt, tortillas, alot of cilantro, an onion, a fist full of limes and a bottle of Tapatio for under $ 10! Damn! Take care of your local shops whenever you can and they will take care of you! So head on over to Lopez Market and pick up a 6pack for me!
