Now this place is better then pizza bueno. Same concept. Walk in get pizza walk out. No fancy dinning room. Well actually this place does have a eating area on the side which is cool. I like their pizzas too. Nice friendly arab owners too. The pizza is delicious and fresh. Try their mexican style pizza. Chorizo onions and jalapeños. Its do murder for! So good. I always come here. Don’t know why i never checked in. If i did id probably be the duke. Im going to start checking in now to support them. Also im going to refer my friends. $ 5 for a delicous pepperoni pizza. These guys are insane i tell you! 4 pizzas, bread sticks and 21-liter sodas sodas for about $ 24.99!!! They’re crazy but i like craxy. Crazy in a good way. Not charles manson crazy. More like van gogh crazy because they create beautiful works of art. Just come here and you wont regret it. Sure beats little ceasera and Pizza«Supposedly» Bueno. That should be the name i might just go remove a star from them because i feel robbed. They’ll never catch me alive!

I’ve picked up pizzas from Tasty several times over the last couple of months, and enjoyed the quality for the price — good, cheap pizza. The two men who’ve answered the phone sometimes complained about my requests to split toppings across halves(my girlfriend is a vegetarian, and I hate olives), but they’ve been reasonably understanding — and I’ve simplified my orders. On October 29, I called in a pizza to pick up on the way to a picnic. When I arrived with two other people, we found U.S. Marshals in the parking lot — and it was something to do with the pizza place. We called twice trying to find updates on whether or not we would be able to pick up the pizza. The employee who picked up the phone the second time said the only person who could take the money was out back talking to the police, and that it would be 5 – 10 minutes. I called back 10 minutes later, and I still wasn’t able to pick up my pizza — so I told the man I was going somewhere else because at this point(over a half hour), we were beyond late. Tonight, I called in a pizza. The owner answered the phone, and when I told him my order he told me I had to come in and he would make the pizza however I wanted, then hung up. I called back to ask how long it would be until the pizza was ready, and he went off about not showing up to pick up what we ordered. Sure, whatever happened with the U.S. marshals that night wasn’t the pizza place’s fault, but it wasn’t mine either. Sorry, cheap pizza joint — you can be replaced.

I came here to eat with some friends after a meeting. My friend(he is African American) ordered two meat pizzas. The owner of this establishment is Middle Eastern. When our order came out 20 minutes later, it was the completely wrong order so we waited for our correct order to come out. My friend checked on the order after another 15 minutes then after 20, in which it had reached 40 minutes for our correct order to come out. A few minutes later I decided to check on the order(I am Mexican American and have worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years so I have a good idea of what customer service is all about). The owner was at the end of the kitchen and I politely asked him how much longer for our pizzas. He told me I wasn’t his customer and to get out of his store. I told him I was with my friend that ordered the two pizzas and I just wanted to see how much longer for our food to come out. He told me to «get the fuck out» of his store and that’s when it began to get heated. I wasn’t about to leave and he came rushing up to the front counter from the back kitchen and told me to get out once again and I told him no, in which at this point he SPIT in my face! I was absolutely shocked and didn’t even know what to do. I know in the middle eastern culture spitting on someone is one of the lowest things you can do to someone. I went outside with my friends(both male and female) and told them what happened. They said to just get the food and leave the place, in which we got the food a few minutes later. We ate the two pizzas outside Tasty Pizza. Because there weren’t any trash cans to throw the boxes away, we put the two pizza boxes and napkins inside of the boxes on the bench right next to the establishment. In no way were we going to associate ourselves with this owner in any form. As we were getting into our cars, the owner came outside and grabbed the trash and began throwing it at our cars and tried getting into the cars(luckily they were locked). We took off from Tasty Pizza and that was that. The reason why I mention my race and my friends race, as well as the race of the owner, is because I’m absolutely positive this was an act of racism. Nonetheless, what happened was unacceptable and, at the time it happened, I was in shock because I have never been put in a situation like that before or been spit on in my life. Looking back, I should have called the police the moment he spit on me and gone from there. Most of all, I will never return to this establishment nor will my friends. I would like to note that my friends and I aren’t thugs or act inappropriately and did not aggravate the situation or was rude to the workers/owner at any point. Regardless of whether this review stops anyone from going to this establishment, it’s important for people to at least know how shitty and racist the owner is. PS: at one point I asked the owner what his name was and he replied with«my name is MotherFuckYou!» ********************** ********************** UPDATE: owner does not address spitting in a customers face or using profanity and yelling at customers. Just because I am not the one who bought it, does not mean I am not a customer/guest at an establishment. If you go to a restaurant, does only one patron/customer/guest(the one who pays) get their wants/needs addressed and the other guests who aren’t paying but simply dining their get treated horribly/spit on??? Also note how the owner does not address throwing trash at our cars or trying to get into our cars while we were driving away. Words cannot describe how warped this guys logic is and how he is able to justify spitting in someone’s face or throwing trash at them as a rational way of acting.

A delightful surprise! This is a tiny, tiny little place behind a gas station, but what they lack in ambience is more than made up for in the quality of their pizza. Best crust I’ve had in ages. Normally, I throw the outer edge of the crust away, but this was so tasty and not a hard, doughy mouthful, like most pizzas, that I I ate every bit of it. Good sauce, lots of cheese, and the people there are super nice! Glad I took the time to locate it. Would recommend without reservation!

Pizza deals! PROS: inexpensive, good deal, support your local pizza, tasty pizza= TASTYPIZZA CONS: location kind of a ghetto area, but the price is a good deal, and it doesn’t taste bad. «hayyyyyyyyyy!» ;) I was looking for nearby Pizza and wanted to try something different. I came by after months and months of saying I was going to try this at least once after driving by and always getting coupon ads in the mail. I came in on a Thursday night after having Pizza for lunch, was craving pizza again for dinner(I know pizza mania right? hehe). And then gave them a call to put my order in and it was ready on time. Outside there were some random locals sitting in the front outside on the benches eating popsicles/ice cream from the maybe a nearby business. I came in and was waiting for about 5 minutes to be helped. The cook a nice lady who I spoke Spanish to was looking for her boss because I think she couldn’t/doesn’t handle the register. Then a little bit later the worker/owner perhaps the gentleman who I had spoken with on the phone and got my order. I ended up doing a deal they had for: 2 large pizzas(1 pepperoni and 1 hawaiian), cheesey bread, and soda for $ 15. I spent $ 1.50 extra for jalapenos, totally worth it ;). The pizza could use more sauce, but there’s sauce that comes with the cheesey bread. Other then that it was good tasted like Pizza Hut(Pizza Hut tastes slightly better) and the cheese tastes better than the flavors of Little Ceasar’s basic pizza. In the end about $ 18 after tax. .3.5STARS.

Ate there last night and wish I could get the taste out of my mouth. Pizza was disgusting, breadsticks were hard and the service was shit. Hotwings were decent, but WAY too spicy.

Wow! I’m quite impressed. $ 5 for a large pepperoni pizza and only had to wait a few minutes for it. Tasted great! Much better than spending $ 8 on an «ok» frozen pizza on a lazy night.

Great Pizza(reminds me of pizza Hut).Great price $ 5.56, for peperoni. They sell other pizza combinations. Throw a pizza party for the kids or adults. Takeout only(Washington Park is near by). They open earlyer than most pizza restraunts. Be sure to get a sandwitch at Agrusas a few doors down.

The pizza is fairly good usually. Sometimes it has too little sauce or the cheese is not on parts of the pizza. The toppings are usually pretty good. When you order bacon it’s pretty sparse though. I’ve had several pieces without any bacon in it, for example. Still, can’t beat the price and this is why we order here. Its definitely worth price of admission. If it cost more we wouldn’t choose to eat here.

Good tasting pizza. I love pizza. No surprise; so I recognize a good tasting one when I eat one. For their prices you get more than expected. For a quick pizza fix or small gathering this is the place to go

They have pretty good pizza and the prices can’t be beat. The cheesy bread sticks are delicious! They also have terrific prices on family meal deals. Service is usually very friendly and if you phone in your order it’s ready for pick up when you arrive.

The pizza here is amazing and you can’t beat the price for a large pepperoni for $ 5. Fresh and crispy crust. Juan working in the front is a cool guy as well. The wings are not the best but good when you are hungry. The pizza is the best!

We didn’t get to stay and try the pizza because the guy would not be flexible ATALL and wanted to charge you more if you wanted to change the topping on a pizza deal. The deal said it would be 4.62 for a cheese or pepperoni pizza, and underneath it says 1 topping pizza for $ 5. He said it was $ 6 for a topping… so change the sign then! Then we ask if we can do the pizza/wing deal, but instead of pepperoni, just put cheese on there. He said ANY changes would cost more! We’re saving HIM money by not getting a topping and paying the same price, yet he’s going to charge MORE? So we left to go to another place. If u want even a tiny bit of flexibility, find another place!

Good price for pizzas & cheesy breads(my family’s fav) Makes good leftovers via cold pizzas as well. I would recommend it to anyone in the area! I found this place by accident & didn’t even find it on the Unilocal search for pizzas. I had to manually look for it & found this so I can leave a good reviews for this spot!

This place is awesome! The pizza is made to order, the crust and sauce is perfect, and the prices are better than anywhere else. I usually get the managers special, which includes 3 large pizzas, garlic bread, and a Pepsi for $ 17. The wings are crunchy and juicy and the sauce is perfection. Little Ceasers has lost my business cause this is the place for pizza and wings!

A hot out of the oven pizza for $ 4…Can’t really complain about that. While the«Large» size pizza seems to be the new«5 dollar footlong» of the quick dinner arena it seems that most are bypassing the inherent value in Pizza, especially for a family on a budget. This little pizza shop popped up about a year ago and is a nice addition to the options for a fast and dare I say it… Tasty dinner . They do a good job, and don’t get me wrong, you do by all means get what you pay for… a $ 4 pizze is only going to be so good, but you definitely get you money’s worth here. I have even sampled the tasty bread and hot wings and they are well worth the prices as well. Where else can you get a few pizza’s, 2liters of soda and some wings and still have enough of that paycheck left to get a few gallons of gas!(just a few mind you)

I visited here for the first time just a couple weeks ago, tired and hungry and broke after a long long vacation and plane ride. I returned again the other evening, so evidently, I would recommend it as cheap, hot, pretty tasty pizza. For $ 4 for a Large Pepperoni Pizza, it can feed three adults and a toddler— especially if you accompany it with salad you make at home for another couple dollars. For $ 4, alone it can easily feed two adults with a leftover slice or two.(Granted I’ve seen guys eat a whole large pizza on their own, but you’ll probably know in advance my serving size isn’t meant for those who have big appetites!) This $ 4 fact alone is why it gets 4 stars. If I were blind taste testing… more like 3 stars at best. My fella commented that it was«better than Little Caesars».(I think I like the more tender Little C’s crust more, but that’s about it.) I think my first visit was bit better than my most recent one, but considering the circumstances– that makes sense. The other night we called just a few minutes before they closed and they happily made our pizza for us.(Although the man who took my order was nice, he didn’t exactly say *when* they closed when I asked. It was almost 11pm on Friday night, so I suppose that’s their closing time.) My experience with customer service quality was fine/good. The things I like about the pizza: Cheese, sauce, crust ratio. —- I might like a LITTLE more sauce but its pretty good the way it is. The spicy, «fresh» tasting pepperoni. —- This is a topic that will turn me away from a pizza establishment quickly. I’ve eaten pepperoni with many bad, sometimes funky flavors. Even game-y rancid flavors!(Dominos, you know I’m talking about you!) This pepperoni is pretty good. Zesty, nothing weird… I like the spiciness. Last— but not least. The price! If I just saw their current 2.5 star ratings on Unilocal before I ordered(a coupon sitting on a giant stack of mail lured me blindly in) I might not have tried it. We’re glad we did. It’s one of the better options in that price range and a bit above, even. Things I’d change about the pizza, or outright hate: The greasy greasy top. —- I *have* to dab the oil off with something. I think I’ll get cheese next time and assess whether it’s the pepperoni or cheese(or both) contributing to the oily-ness. The dry-ish crust. —- The first time I had it, early in the evening, I didn’t recall it being so bad. However, the late night pizza was on the rather dry side. I’ll update if it’s better on my next visit. I think if some of the fats on top of the pizza were in the crust it would be better in texture and… Crust flavor. —- It’s not the least flavorful crust… but it needs a *lot* of work. Next time we get it, we’ll drizzle a little garlic and rosemary olive oil on the edges to perk it up! If I were a millionaire… would I ever order this pizza? Probably not, but it’s great while I’m working my way there ;)
