How do they do it? The pizzas are $ 5!!! its definitely not a gourmet pizza, but wow for the price you can’t go wrong, the people here are friendly and the service is usually very fast

Called in for a pick up order and got a supreme large with bread sticks for less than $ 10 and it was bomb! I will be back for more! :-)

Great place !! Good value and tastes great. We love the guy who runs it. He’s great, very friendly and remembers what you like.
They will make sure you’re happy when you leave.
Definitely give this place a try. Very affordable good food and good service.
Try the cheese bread. It’s fantastic.

Awesome people at this smaller pizza joint. $ 5 Hawaiian or Pepperoni pizzas. Not only are the pizzas great but the service was spectacular as well. 3 quality pizzas and out the door for 17 bucks. One of the best «5 dollar» pizza places out there.

Don’t let the price fool you… These pizzas are delicious. I especially enjoy the Mexican pizza. It has a layer of tasty beans, meat, cheese, jalapeños topped with tomatoes on crispy pizza crust. The owner is frequently there and makes sure only the highest quality of pizza is served.

Next time you are in Escondido, stop by Maria’s Pizza on Valley Parkway. It may look like another strip mall pizza joint, but their pizza is a notch above. And the price is so reasonable, I bought extra pizzas so we could have leftovers for breakfast.
In addition to the delicious Pepperoni, Hawaiian and Meat Lovers pizzas, I have tried the Mexican Pizza. Wow! It contains beans, chorizo, onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, cheese. The flavor combination is a homerun!
P. S. If you’ve been to Micho’z in Hillcrest, you will recognize the owner/​chef! This family is well known for their amazing food.

$ 3.99 for a large any one topping pizza. Best pizza deal in town and the quality is very good. We like Zappy Pizza which used to be at this location but now it’s just as good pizza for a dollar less! Very nice and friendly owner too, we will definitely be back again.
Update: they raised the price for a large pepperoni to $ 4.99. Still a good deal though since it’s way better quality than Little Ceaser’s.

The competition is fierce when it comes to $ 5 pizza around here. This is a new store that just opened up replacing the previous pizza place. The Oscars are going to be on in a couple of hours and we decided to go with a cheap pizza to enjoy the night.
They have a $ 3.99 any topping promotion going but I’m sticking with my favorite, the Hawaiian. The pizza itself is pretty good. Reasonable portion of ham and pineapple toppings with a nice soft and crunchy crust. The $ 1 bread sticks were a bit on the thin side. Mine did not come with sauce, although for a buck i did not expect it to.
Overall, it’s a good place to get pizza if you’re nearby. Not exceptional, but hey, for $ 5 what did you expect?
