Got the eggplant special and it was so amazing! My mom used to make fried eggplant so every once in awhile I get a craving for it. The wait staff and hostesses were all polite, and treated my friend and I well. My drink was rarely empty and the food was delicious. Now I have a place to go when I’m craving it! Also can we all take a moment to appreciate places that bring bread at the beginning of the meal? And it’s great bread too! I love that they are at the mall because you can eat something other than food court food to keep you shopping all day! I can’t wait to go back!

The service was great and the food was great as well. Exactly what I expect from the Cheesecake Factory. The chicken madeira is amazing as always. The cheesecakes are terrific but usually are on the sweet side.

The banana cream cheesecake is amazing!!! Love the service and the food. Highly recommend aside from the long waits.

Not many chain restaurants have consistency in their dishes, but no matter which Cheesecake Factory I visit, my Chicken Madeira is always spot on! I frequent the Escondido or Fashion Valley locations the most.

Another food establishment attached to the mall. This is your typical Cheesecake Factory restaurant that is just like all the other locations. I have eaten here on many occasions and have always had great food and great service. This location gets really busy like the other ones, but they do take your name and will text you when your table is ready. It’s nice to be able to go inside the mall while waiting and not have to sit there and wait for your name to be called. Parking can be a pain because of the mall traffic, but it’s never been a huge problem. Give yourself an extra few minutes to park on a weekend and give this place a try. They don’t have any bad food.

The service here has been really poor lately. We’ve been here for 30 minutes and all we have is water. The last few times I’ve been here I’ve been told that they don’t have all the ingredients to make the meal. If you’re starving, don’t come here.

Definitely closer to a 2.5. The reason I am rounding up is because the food was absolutely delicious! I got the GF pasta, mom got a soup and salad, husband got pizza and a salad. All of us said our food was phenomenal. But man, did it take FOREVER. We were seated, and it must have 15 minutes before we were even greeted by our server to order drinks. Ordered drinks, server came back another 10 minutes later to give us our drinks and some bread. We ordered. The food actually didn’t take as long to get to us. But every time we requested anything, a refill, more bread, or had a question, it took 10 minutes for her to come back to us, each time. It’s good food, if you have that kind of time. I’ve never been to another Cheesecake Factory that took this long to deliver anything.

CF is my go-to place when I want to splurge and have a good slice of Cheesecake. A week ago, I tried the Banana Cream Cheesecake. It was heavenly! Also, the menu has many options, so there is something for everyone. I also like the bread they serve, oh my gosh! I can’t get enough of it. I have a few favorites on the menu, but the top items on my list are the calamari appetizer, the classic burger(it has to be medium done), Hibachi Steak, Miso Salmon, and Grilled Steak Medallions. CF is a great place to meet friends for happy hour, or go with the family to have good food, and enjoy the great atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s always busy when I go to this restaurant regardless of the location.

Short and sweet. Delicious mint ice tea, hot crusty bread, and delicious summer rolls and lettuce wraps. This chain is hit or miss, so it’s nice when it hits. I’m sad they no longer have the lemon arugula salad though. We just had a quick bite after a safari. Might update with more if I come back. Service was great except our waiter either thought he was a maitre d at the French Laundry or really is an automaton. He was just a tad creepy in his politeness and efficiency. But overall, good experience.

I used to go to Cheesecake Factory on a regular basis while growing up in Orange County and in fact, was a regular at the Huntington Beach location for years as I lived literally down the street. Since Moving to San Diego in 2009 I must admit I had not been back to either the OC or SD locations and was pleasantly surprised to stop in today. It brought back wonderful memories of family dinners, happy hours with coworkers, and my 21st birthday at the Newport Beach location as the décor is exactly the same across all restaurants. We decided to sit in the bar area as we just wanted a small bite and a few drinks after several hours of shopping and the happy hour deals can’t be beat. Fried Chicken Sliders were a pleasant and tasty surprise with deliciously tender but, crispy, well seasoned meat. Everything is served on the side which works well for my produce-hating husband. Yup, just give him the meat please. The tomatoes, pickles and lettuce were perfectly fresh and the latter two added the most perfect extra crunch for me. We also ordered nachos and here’s where it got amusing. Everything on the side. Literally everything. If it ain’t meat and cheese the hubs wants no part. So, the waiter graciously obliged to place the order with chips and cheese only and brought out little dishes with the sour cream, Pico de gallo and, guacamole on the side. I swear my husband missed out as the guac and Pico were outstanding and the perfect accompaniment to the cheesy chips. He actually apologized profusely for his fussiness to which the server, a wonderful young man named Andy, smiled and reassured my hubs it was not a problem at all. On that note: Andy was very attentive, patient, friendly and accommodating to us: the kind of server you always hope to get. We ordered the requisite cheesecake to go for my sweets loving husband and headed home with full, happy bellies.

The waitress, yaninna, was just awesome, very sweet and polite. The spicy chicken sandwich, tostada salad, and tamale cakes were awesome. The fish tacos on the other hand was not as described on the menu. It was ok, probably better at a local mexican restaurant to be honest. Only could eat 1 out of 4…

I went in with my friend last night and the host Last night was amazing 04÷07÷16 she greeted me and asked if I wanted to sit in a booth or table. I chose table. She was very sweet I didn’t get her name which i love to mention but she was great. Also my sever was really great too his name was Peter he was great came by to check up on us which is great. I ordered a pineapple mojito brought me water which was nice(: it tasted really good first timer. Props to the bartender, got my appetizer(avocado egg rolls) were very very delicious. We also ordered orange chicken it was really good but the white rice it tasted very dry and it tasted not cooked. So I didn’t like that. I next ordered a ultimate margarita it was good. I love the service here and will come back(: thanks to PETER!

Wow, seating was fast, only 10 minutes. Their menu is big. It took us 20 minutes to decide what to order. I ordered the combo shrimp scampi /Diane steak medium rare, wife ordered the Green chilaquiles with carnitas. Kids the usual: bacon bacon burger fries and Renee’s special. Big Surprise! The scampi does not come with pasta if ordered in combo, wish menu would state that, steak was well done(asked to be medium rare) chilaquiles were too spicy for her. :( We told our server about our food, she immediately offered a redo, which we agreed. The manager was informed and she promised to make it right, and even offered soup or salad. What a difference this time, the plate was very satisfying, I convinced my wife to get the shrimp scampi, and she liked it. Their level of service save the day thanks to our server Mercedes and Jennifer. I would definitely come back again.

Surprising to me I like the food here way more than I enjoy the cheesecake! This place always has a huge wait and since it is normally just the 2 of us, we can normally sit in the bar area fairly quickly which is nice. We normally split one meal and 1 small plate(appetizer) and it’s more than enough food for both of us. Pricing is decently reasonable, and the wait staff is always super friendly. Also if there is a wait at least you can walk around the mall for a bit while you do so!

Came here with a group of 9 that consisted of all my family. They don’t take reservations so the wait was about 30 – 35 minutes. Our waiter was such a sweet and loving lady! It was packed tonight but she still filled up my water cup(about 8 times — guys I know, I guzzle it down like no other lol) and checked up on us religiously. But, there were times where it seemed like she was trying to rush us… she asked us if we needed boxes about only 10 minutes after we got our food. Hm… I ordered the southwest chicken sandwich with a side of fries. Fries are good almost everywhere so I didn’t have a problem with that. The sandwich though was mediocre at best, promise you, sandwiches are way better at your local shop. Always are. There was more bread than there were toppings and chicken which was depressing to a gal that LOVES chicken :( The cheesecake I got was warm… like not«cold/warm». Warm-warm, which was unappetizing. Service — 100% positive. Food…not so much, unfortunately.

This place sucks. The service is bad and eat at your own risk because the majority of this pre frozen then microwaved fattening gelatinous sodium encrusted crap for food is going to shoot out your other end with vengeance. And who in the hell needs a piece of cheesecake that’s 6,000 calories? If your goal is a wholesome 400 pound figure then by all means stand on queue with the rest of the sheeple followers and leap to your own culinary ho hum’ness of doom and squirts.

I had no idea they opened a Cheesecake Factory here! We stopped in after shopping. It was during a heavy rainstorm and it was packed inside. We walked in thinking the worst about the wait time. Took us by surprise it was only 10 minutes and they sent a text message to my phone when our table was ready. Our server was great and the food came out really quick. Their menu is huge but they make everything on it so well. I ordered the Cajun pasta with shrimp and chicken. It was mouth watering good! The spices and flavor were bold but not overpowering. It came out piping hot, I wanted to eat the entire plate but my eyes are bigger than my stomach. BF ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich with a side of marinara sauce for dipping came with a side salad. We upgraded to a Cesar salad for a little extra. Sandwich was also really good. The breading on the sandwich was just right not overdone. Great experience at this location, we’ll be back!

I’ve been ordering healthier menu options since my last review so I thought an update was in order. Great menu item profile: Vegan Cobb Salad (Lettuce Topped with Grilled Asparagus, Green Beans, Roasted Beets, Avocado, Cucumber, Garbanzo Beans, Quinoa Almonds and Sunflower Seeds with House Vinaigrette) The Vegan Cobb was one of the most satisfyingly healthy salads I’ve had in a long time. It’s always about the taste, and every bite had a little something new and exciting to offer. The dressing(Vinaigrette) was the perfect choice to enhance the flavors of this superfood salad. Another hit was their lettuce wrapped burger. Thick beef burger patty with all the details of a normal burger(including the grill marks on the onion). If you’re going protein style, they have good creations here at Cheesecake Factory.

I’ve only been here for the cheesecake and can’t speak on the food. I never really realized that The Cheesecake Factory was here at the mall so when I found out I had to get some cheesecake obviously. This spot is pretty busy or at least when I come here which is usually during the week after 6pm. The restaurant is a nice size with a bar and the lights are low. I know what I like when it comes to cheesecake so I like, macadamia nut, carrot cake, raspberry or any just about anything fruity. The cheesecake menu is very large and it may take you about 10 minutes to decide on what you want. The service I had was really good like it usually is when I come here. The first time eating cheesecake here I sat in the dining room and the service was wonderful with no complaints. I don’t come here for the food but maybe I will have to start because the pics look good. Anyway so I ordered a hot chocolate which was pretty good in a nice size glass. The crazy carrot cake was fantastic because it had whip cream and icing. The next time I come here I will definitely get something to eat and see how it is. If it’s good quality like the cheesecakes then we have a winner at the mall when it comes to food and dessert.

Its impossible for me to give a Cheesecake Factory a low rating. It would have to be due to extremely poor service, or I try something new that just taste terrible. They carry one of my favorite dishes ever… the fried mac and cheese balls. Yum! This location can have a long wait just like every other Cheesecake Factory, but who cares. Go walk around the mall to kill time while you wait. I will say if you come after 7pm on a weekday, you should have a good chance of not having to wait at all. This location has become my new favorite because it’s the closes to me. Haha. In my recent visit, Heather was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. I finally tried the Lemon Meringue cheesecake. It was pretty good. The lemon part was tangy, the cake part was creamy and the meringue was just like a airy marshmallow. I never really liked meringue, but this one was good. All together, the ingredients make one very sweet cake, so be warned.
