Super fresh produce right here. One the side of State Highway 16, in the parking lot of Chavela’s Grab & Go. The parking can be rough with no parking lines. If busy, I recommend parking up the street or across the street. The hours are not consistent due to seasonal availability. I prices aren’t cheap compared to some of the mass grocers but more fresh. They offer mostly fruit direct from the farms and sometimes veggies. Hand sorted, not hiding in cellophane… make sure you give them a good rinse. I wish I could give them higher marks but odd hours and sometimes parking chaos, it’s not going to happen. If your heading through the Capay Valley and you see them open, stop in for some super fresh fruit.
