I think a solid two is very fitting of this Denny’s. This review is based more on the service than anything, which makes up a large part of dining out. On this particular day, the service or lack there of was basically appalling for a Denny’s. I ended up here on a Friday afternoon for a relatively quick bite while in between meetings in the area… well, mistake on my end. I first walk in to a line formed and a hostess that seemed to have too much going on from talking with the other waitresses behind the counter to checking her cell phone. Once I finally put my name down I was able to be sat in about 15 minutes. Once I got sat the issues continued. While my waitress was nice, she was inefficient and not very attentive. I saw her two times the entire meal, once to take my whole order and once to deliver my food. I had to chase my check down once I was finished. To wrap up, I head to the counter to pay and leave only to be met with a 10 minute wait to pay my tab. Overall, it was a sad display of service from a chain that doesn’t have the bar set all that high, so for me to give this location a 2 is in terms, sad. When in the area again for whatever reason, I may just opt for a hot dog from the nearby gas station rather than eating here.

Let me start this by stating: I LOVEDENNY’S. NOT Philadelphia Denny’s, though. I am the traveler who books accommodations based on the proximity of Denny’s locations. I know… I know. Please don’t judge me. Now, I’ve been to this location a number of times and it can be a hit or miss. If you are lucky enough to get Ron as your server, your experience will be that much better. I always order a breakfast skillet, but at my most recent visit, the portion was literally cut in half. Not that I need a full skillet of potatoes and cheese, but.hey. I mentioned it to the server but didn’t make a big deal about it. I’m not sure what that was about but it will definitely decrease my chances of returning and stick to my «out of town» Denny’s. My niece ordered a salad and was told they were out of eggs, so they wouldn’t be able to put any on her salad. However, they compensated by adding more steak to the salad. No argument there. Hopefully, if I return they don’t force me into portion control and they have eggs. It’d make for a more enjoyable experience.

We ordered and our waitress, Kathy, was nice and attentive. Another waitress came and said she was taking over for Kathy and brought us our food. My kids food was missing the bananas(which after asking and them going to the kitchen to check they came back and said they were out of bananas, fine okay) also missing bacon which we had to ask for. Then my California club sandwich was missing avocados, which they said they were out of(HELLO, could you have mentioned that when we ordered??!). Food was below average, honestly the worst Denny’s I’ve been to. Get it together*eyeroll*

Went there this morning for breakfast. Ordered two buttermilk pancake eggs hash n toast. Food took more than 30 mins. Waitress came once after 20 mins of waiting saying the food should be out shortly. 10 mins or so pass by n it did. 1. Buttermilk pancake: I received two very different size pancake. One was like 4 in and the other one was like 7 in. That’s fine. I looked at it closer and I see dark pieces of burnt food on the pancakes??? Waitress ask me if everything’s alright. Ok I don’t like judging a book by its cover so I did not complain about it. After I took a bite it was extra chewy. I push the plate aside. 2. Hash browns: So hard I couldn’t even chew it. Didn’t even bother eating it due to the fear of choking. So all I had was two eggs and some very cold n chewy toast. First time at Denny’s and I don’t think I would go back.

Don’t know why there are so many negative reviews! The staff was very friendly, food was fast and very delicious, not crowded at all. I’m a foodie and review many places, and their grand slam was quite tasty. Actually one of the best dennys I’ve been to, try it for yourself the next time you are on a layover, staying near the airport, or just passing through.

Went on a Sunday evening. Not crowded at all so got a booth right away. The manager greeted us, got us sodas, waiter was prompt and friendly. The food took over 30 minutes to come out. We ordered a senior dinner and a grand slam. Both were delicious. The kitchen made a mistake on the senior dinner and gave my partner 2 pieces of chicken fried steak instead of one. They didn’t charge us extra, cool. The server was attentive. Our complaint was how long it took the kitchen to make our food. The menu seemed limited. We probably won’t be going back for quite awhile. Our dining experience took 1 ½ hours. This for diner food

Came here for dinner since we were short on time and it was close to our hotel. I decided to order the Fit Slam — egg whites with spinach and tomato, fresh fruit, turkey bacon and an English muffin. When our server brought our food he said he would be right back with my English muffin. Well my English muffin never showed up. I let the guy at the register know this and he said that he would take it off my bill but when he did nothing came off because it was part of the meal. He didn’t even offer to just take a percentage off for the inconvenience.

What a great server and a perfect location between my home and work. We got there super early and Debbie was a rockstar. Our food was hot and tasted good. Checking out was a breeze and Deb even gave us 2 To Go kids cups for the #HastyKids remaining beverages. I recommend this restaurant and would visit again!

Visited: Sunday — March 8, 2015 — 11:30AM The previous Denny’s visit was about 20 years ago in Clifton Heights, Pa. The food was passable but the service was virtually nil. I had no intentions of returning. My lady friend suggested Denny’s. The 20 year memory quickly returned but, I agreed to go with trepidation. We ordered the 55 + Senior vegetarian platter — yes, I am over 55 years of age. We received our coffee and tomato juice. The server acknowledged my request for additional napkins. After an approximately 20 minute wait, I left my table and asked the server of food status. She she’d check. I replied thank you and returned to my table. Within one minute our server presented our food and I asked again for the additional napkins. She delivered them promptly and walked toward the kitchen. She did not ask if we needed anything and frankly, I forgot to ask. My lady friend and I had about a mouthful of coffee remaining. I waited for another minute for a coffee refill in hopes that the server was returning with a pot of coffee. Again, I left my table to ask the server for a coffee refill. She acknowledged my request and returned to her duties. I thanked her and returned to my table. Within seconds, the server took the order of four people and returned to the kitchen. The sever emerged and began speaking to diners to my immediate right. I waited about one minute and recognized that my coffee refill request would not be forthcoming. Once again, I left my table and this time walked passed the server. I calmly and discreetly explained the situation to the manager. The manager apologized and served the coffee. The server took note and apologized. I simply stated«we are done». I do not consider myself entitled or demanding but, after several respectful requests for service resulted in apparent indifference, I felt mitigated to decline her apology. I still left a tip but considerably less than my customary 20 — 25%. Oh, about the food — it was flavorful and perfectly cooked.

I’m not really sure why I’m even reviewing this place. I only came here because my babe and I missed our plane to ATL and my mother-in-law wanted to go to breakfast. We all ordered coffee, which was pretty good. Strong like I like it. Everything beyond that was just… meh. Not bad service… but it just wasn’t a good experience overall. I ordered an English muffin instead of toast and when it arrived, not only was it NOT an English muffin, it also looked like a dirty biscuit. Yes, dirty. I wish I had taken a pic. The server didn’t even look surprised when I showed her. Basically, I ate my food(sans dirty biscuit) but I didn’t particularly enjoy it.

This was possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. General disappointments: They were out of orange juice, diet coke, and to go boxes. Someone waited twenty minutes to order food to go and then overheard the staff tell someone else they were out of to go boxes and couldn’t accommodate any take out orders.(I think all customers would have appreciated knowing upfront that these items and services were unavailable.) Service disappointments: While our initial interaction with our waitress was seemingly standard and friendly, I can’t provide any additional positive feedback about her because we barely saw her again. The waiter who brought us our beverages informed us of their lack of diet coke and forgot 2⁄3 waters. We spent over 35 minutes trying to make eye contact with our waitress to get her attention — and although we made eye contact, she never came over. We spent 45 minutes waiting for refills on water and coffee(and of course our food), while other customers who had been seated after us and were simply sitting closer to the kitchen enjoyed their food. At this point I stood up and walked over towards the kitchen to request refills, and a different waitress said she would be right with us. Ten minutes later our waitress came over with refills and said our food shouldn’t be much longer. This is now 55 minutes into our breakfast.(Just to be clear we all ordered eggs and the restaurant was not full.) While she was at our table we requested a set of utensils(since only 2⁄3 of our party was given a set of utensils when we were seated). In addition we requested salt and ketchup — because at this point we had high hopes our food would be arriving soon and our table was not prepared with these items unlike the other tables near us. Finally over an hour after being seated our food arrived with unmelted cheese on the eggs and 2 packets of ketchup for our table of 3. When the waitress walked away we took the bottle of ketchup from an empty table nearby and ate our breakfast. This was a disappointing visit to say the least. I recommend you do not visit this establishment under any circumstances.

OMG that Denny was so nasty. When I walked in the waitress’s ignored me. The hosts finally realized I was not being helped after 10mins of just starring trying to establish some sort of eye contact with the workers. The place was empty and very dirty and old, when I walked in I wanted to walk out!(I wish I did, but I was extremely hungry) when I got my to-go meal it was awful, I had to substitute my $ 2 pecan pie which is discontinued till the end of the year with a brownie(which I hope they will discontinue that as well) After eating that meal at home, the food did not settle well with my stomach spent the entire night trying to take the food out of me! Horrible I do not recommend anyone eat at that dump!

I would rather chow down on some dog food before suffering with this disgusting place again. 20 mins for taking order and another 30 mins for my food to arrive. It looking like someone sat on my food while my coffee glass still had some lipstick marks on it. I just wanted to pay and walk out only to find myself waiting for 30 mins to pay the bill. Horrific attitude from the staff just not a pleasant place to be let alone eat in.

Took 25 minutes to get our meal… which was eggs. It came out wrong but I didn’t want to send it back and wait another 20 minutes to get the right thing. I won’t be back. Tried the same Denny’s again. Late night meal around 1am. The food was served at a reasonable time but my only complaint is the bacon. A side of bacon here was a piece and a half that were thin and translucent. Denny’s please step your game up

Excellent food and excellent service. My. Husband had the pot roast and loved it. Very tender. I had the Tuscan super bird and asked them to add avocado and it was delicious. I also asked them for a bowl of any veggies they could wip up for me and they accommodated my request. I’ve been on vacation for a week and veggies which I love has been very limited. So I was very pleased that they did that for me. We will be back for breakfast.
