Riverview Pines

Staff was very accommodating with a short notice booking on a busy weekend, and our stay was perfect!
We’ll be making this place a regular stay.
Highly recommend the cabins– they are ridiculously spacious and right on the water.

This is a small family owned property. We were looking for last minute accommodations due to the heavy bear activity in Moraine Park, and almost everything was booked. We happened to call here and they had a riverside room available!
The price was cheap, a little below the listed price, and in line with a typical hotel room. The river was really running which made for some pleasant background noise and a great view. The room was super clean, and well laid out. Two comfortable queen beds, a pair of recliners, and dining table and chairs inside. There was a picnic table and several patio chairs outside as well as a grill and well placed benches near the river.
My only regret is that we only had one night to stay here.
This is just outside of Estes Park, and close to one of the RMNP entrances. There is even a hottub, playground equipment, and fire pit. Fast, free WiFi is also available.

We never got the chance to experience the rooms because the very rude staff prevented us from wanting to ever step foot on their property. We had a room reserved but the day of, we discovered that the area was under a flash flood warning for the entire duration of our stay (the weather reports claiming the river would be 5 feet above flood level). Remember that the cabins are right on the river side. Not only that, but there was also a weather warning for severe thunderstorms with hail, damaging winds and a tornado watch. Not wanting to risk our safety just to be stuck in a cabin for 2 days straight, we tried to get a rain check. The woman on the phone was very rude and unhelpful. She told us we’d just have to make the best of it because they have a 30 day cancellation policy. We said we were willing to take a refund or reschedule for whatever date they might have available. She told us they don’t offer refunds unless it’s 30 days prior, and told us the next available date was in October (4 months away). We said we were willing to take the October date if a refund wasn’t possible. I assume she was bluffing with the October date because she put us on hold for «the owner» but came back on herself and said they would just give us the refund because there was nothing they could do to accommodate us. We were even willing to pay extra if we could extend our reservation out so far, but instead we had absolutely zero customer service or help. I will never stay here or recommend it to anyone else. There are plenty of other facilities and hotels that can make you feel welcome. Trying to make this work out was like pulling teeth.

I felt like a kid at summer camp! Beautiful scenery and friendly staff. The rooms were dated, but so is the rest of Estes Park.

Great large room, extremely convenient location just a mile or so to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance or the town of Estes Park, wonderful stream off the deck, great views. The owners and front desk receptionist were very nice and helpful.
Extremely clean and the gas fireplace between the front rooms and bedroom provided was awesome!
Excellent value and will return for sure.
