A Spinner’s Barn

A Spinner’s Barn is the gift shop located on Aragon Alpacas’ farm. They’re open at the holidays and for special events, as well as by appointment. You can probably go in any time you’re visiting Aragon Farm (make an appointment to be sure).
A Spinner’s Barn has a beautiful selection of silky smooth alpaca yarn, gorgeous alpaca fur blankets, clothing and scarves woven locally, alpaca fleece, socks, stuffed animals, bags, hats, alpaca-​themed gifts like mugs, and a variety of original landscape paintings by the Plein Air Painters of Lane County, whom you’ll often find painting out at the farm. A Spinner’s Barn also organizes spinning classes if you get in touch with them.
We stopped by this week, petted the adorable and very sweet alpacas, and then quickly sought some warmth in the gift shop where we got some of the softest yarn I’ve ever felt as a christmas gift for a family member. Our visit was well worth the drive, but make sure you check that they’re open, or just call ahead and they’ll make sure they’re there to open the place for you!
