We’ve been eating Abbys for 30+ years, it has changed over the years but still has some good pizza. The salad bar was scary, wilted lettuce, yellowing peas at 5:45 pm on a Friday night! Don’t know if we’ll go there again.

The taste was really tasty minus the excess salt in every bite. Ease up on that, & I’ll change my review to a four.

River Road Store in Eugene, The last 2 orders we have placed with you folks have been terrible. They have been delivery orders placed online. The first order, do not remember the date, was ridiculously late(took over 2 hours to deliver from time it was ordered, and we live less than 2 miles from you) and when we got it is was wrong and cold. Ordered 16 pieces ALL White chicken, an order of spuds(large), and breadsticks. The breadsticks were cold and overcooked. We got mixed chicken and no large order of spuds. This time, we ordered 8 pieces all white with an extra order of spuds(small). It took over an hour and a half to get the order. The driver told my husband the extra spuds were in with the chicken. NOT. No extra spuds. It may only be $ 5.00 bucks, but when it happens every single time it gets aggravating. What do we need to do to get a correct order from your establishment? Quit eating there? The problem is, even when we do a phone order to pick up or walk in and order, they seem to screw it up somehow. Typically, they’ll cook the chicken and then realize after the fact that the spuds weren’t cooked so we have to wait for them while the chicken is getting cold. One night we called in an order for chicken, all white, and spuds, got there, paid for it, waited for 20 minutes and then were told they were out of chicken breasts and were thighs okay. What gives? Not a happy customer.

I use to love this place after a game as a kid. Now I am back in town I wanted to share with my kids. It just did not taste the same. What a shame.

I used to – until earlier today — go to this particular Abby’s on a near daily basis because it is one of the few places near my work I could go to quickly get a nice little salad on my lunch break. I am regular customer and have been coming in at least twice a week for a little over a month now. One of the reasons I loved this place was because I believed the people working there to be caring and generous. Managers and employees alike encouraged me to «pack my salad box,» and«fill it to the brim,» nearly every time I ordered it. I loved the kindness and made sure to eat as much as I could! I was ecstatic about the price and the people working and decided to make it my regular spot. Earlier today, however, one of those same employees that used to encourage me to «pack the box until salad dressing is dripping out,» told me to not only stop filling salad to-go because it was«too much», but to also come back to the register and pay more for the«all you can eat» package. For one, I’m not going in for seconds here, I am just filling my box, eating a bit at the restaurant and taking the rest to go for after work. I had already paid for my to-go box. I told her I would not pay MORE for something I get on a regular basis, especially seeing as she was the one who encouraged me to load up my salad box this way! Not only had they completely turned around and changed their approach in dealing with me as a customer, but they had given no warning for this sudden switch-up. I would have been totally fine with a warning comment, something along the lines of: «Hey, I know we told you to pack it up before, but we’ve changed our policy, and would like you to keep the salad to this range. Next time you come in, please be prepared to do so.» That would have been acceptable and no one would have had a problem. I calmly explained that I would not pay more, because why would I today when I have been doing this 3+ times a week for the last month? I mean, the exact same lady who TOLD me to «stuff the salad box to the brim,» but a few weeks ago was now the one yelling at me, telling me I NEED to pay more. It was quite embarrassing. After refusing once more and asking to speak to a manger, said employee proceeded to threaten me by saying she will call the police and have them deal with the situation. I encouraged her to call them(as they would obviously have taken my side) and gently left the restaurant never to come back again. I encourage anyone reading to NOT support a company that inherently doesn’t care about it’s customers, does not communicate with it’s customer in a professional manner and finally, threatens it’s customers. I’ve worked in customer service before and, even on my bad days, I never did anything like this to anyone. Needless to say, I had a horrible lunch and a slanderous experience at this Abby’s. It’s unethical to tell people one thing and threaten to call the cops when they do that exact thing.

These guys have very tasty pizza. Their salad bar is OK. A bit hard to find, being tucked in behind a bowling alley, and don’t trust Google to get you there because it won’t.

I grew up on Abby’s pizza… after soccer games, my brother’s boyscout events, etc. Abby’s always had the best pizza, and they still have really good pizza. But for 20 years I remember Abby’s pizza being just messy with Peppironi. It always had the most peppironi than any other pizza place. It doesn’t seem to be that way anymore. I miss all the peppironi. Also, their sizes seemed to have gotten smaller, their condiments(ranch) have gotten watery, while the prices have gone up. They use to stand out, but they are just like all the other pizza places now.

This place is super gross. I tried giving it a chance after a few years of not having anything from there. I ordered a pizza with a few toppings that I chose and some spuds. I went and picked it up and brought it home. The spuds had no parmesan on them, a flavor I had requested. The pizza tasted like it had already been chewed up and spit out and was all mushy. One of the toppings that I ordered on the pizza was linguica sausage, but it had the consistency of very finely sliced very bad quality ham sandwich meat. Worst pizza I have ever had, worse than Little Caesars.

Decent pizza when you eat IN the restaurant. Have tried delivery with them 3 times and had really bad experiences each time. Cold pizza, very late pizza, wrong pizza delivered, and each time the pizza was lacking toppings. I am sure we will go back to eat in some time, but it’s not on the top of our list. Will not do delivery again.

I LOVE their skinny special. And I love the gluten free crust. It’s really good and it unreasonably priced. They take great care to keep GF food from getting contaminated too. I’m not allergic, so I can’t say it’s safe for a true allergy, but they really do seem to put effort into keeping GF food GF. Plus, it’s also good!

The comfort food pizza of my childhood. Crispy cardboard-esque crust topped with innocuous sauce that is neither too sweet nor too spicy, and a blend of white and yellow cheese. So far the pepperoni is my favorite, because they use really thin slices of meat that get crispy in the pizza over. The potatoes are delicious, as I suspect is the fried chicken. It’s like a small, independent chain version of a Shaky’s Pizza.

For delivery I would not go back to them. It took almost two hours to get our pizza and it was not fresh. I do enjoy their pizza though. It is quite spendy but they use good ingredients.

I always have great pizza from this location and I highly recommend it! They have weekly specials which is nice too! The only down side I can think of is that they seem to take a long time to get your pizza to you when you dine in.

Pretty greasy Pepperoni Pizza! Not much sauce and really not tons of flavor. Service was quick and place was clean, however!

Great Pizza & Salad Bar. They have an array of fun arcade games to keep kids entertained while waiting. Service was very fast… I had my pizza within 15 minutes of ordering. The toppings were very generous and tasty. Enjoy!

Honestly, for nearly $ 28 for a large Hawaiian delivered, it better do the hula. Dance, it did not. Pretty underwhelming for the price. I would probably only have comfortably paid at most $ 15-$ 18 for the pizza we got. It was pretty good, but definitely NOT $ 28 worth(not including tip or delivery charge!). Maybe we’ll try it again, but maybe go in for a slice instead. If you want to be wowed– go to Mezza Luna. Their menu is much more inventive, more flavorful, and less expensive than Abby’s, and I’m pretty sure they deliver!

The food was just OK, but they delivered it hot and on time in the pouring rain. I was starving in my motel room at 9:30PM, so thank God I did not have to travel to get fed tonight. Delivery driver was pleasant and nice. Gave me plates, napkins, dried peppers and cheese. Had the pizza — very average — but when I am starving and tired — it works.

Just got home from visiting family this past week in Oregon. I lived in Eugene for just a few years as a kid. So, while on my way to my uncle’s house… had to just stop into my old haunt. The place still looks the same after 25 years *that’s a good thing*. Was a little pissed to see that Pizza Hut opened up a mini place right in front of Abby’s. So not cool at all… Anyway, I had placed my usual order of a large Hawaiian Pizza. This Hawaiian is not the typical style. Real Ham, Real chunks of Pineapple and big chunks of fresh Tomatoes. Thin crust and oh so yummy. Love the style of the slices mini skinny ones making you think you have more than you bought. I like the fact you can eat just a little at a time instead of big slices that get so mushy or hard to handle. If you find yourself in Oregon. Stop by Abby’s!
