Had a conference at the Marriott Marquis downtown. I wanted pizza. And I liked the idea of going for a small walk to get it(gotta offset the pizza to some degree, right?). The pizza was really good. They did a good job making it. They did a great job spreading the ingredients out, as well, instead of center-loading it. The girl at the front counter really friendly.

Pizza Hut is the family favorite for chain pizza. This store however, is terribly slow and the quality is worthless. We waited over an hour for a delivery and received a cold, hardened pizza. Won’t use them again.

Ran out of advertised hot dog pizza very disappointed… ordered stuffed crust instead but got regular crust COLD pizza.

I have been going to this location for a couple years for a regrettably decent quick pizza. This time I ordered some buffalo wings with the pizza, as I have in the past, however this time they put buffalo sauce on the wings equal in volume to a rain drop. The worst part was that they also gave me a wetnap as some cruel joke knowing full well that there was not enough sauce to create any mess whatsoever. Lol

The guy on the phone was very pleasant and was careful to get my order correct. He did the whole obligatory corporate upsell thing but I didn’t mind it because he wasn’t pushy and I know it’s a requirement of his job. Keep that in mind at your next drive-thru adventure too — they don’t WANT to keep asking you if you want to try the special or add an item, but are doing so practically at gunpoint. The delivery guy was right on time, but he seemed terribly confused and distracted anyway. I was a little turned off that he was in a Ducks costume, but then again I find this town’s obsession with schoolboy sports to be fucking ridiculous… Somehow, the box was too short for the pizza… like it was made for the thin crust ones? Or was maybe assembled poorly? It got squished at some point so I lost a bit of cheese to the box top but again no big deal. The pie was technically correct, albeit lukewarm and cut very haphazardly. I still tipped the guy well because I’m probably at the far edge of his delivery area. These big corporate chains are somehow hit or miss, which is bizarre considering how regimented they are about churning out assembly line products in the interest of consistency. Tonight’s was a miss, but at least I didn’t have to leave the house. Also, they still do $ 10 larges.
