The food is good but pricey. The large selection can be a little overwhelming. The service is hit or miss. I’ve had great service and less than great service. It all depends on the staff and how busy they are. I haven’t had any bad food there though.

I’m amending my review, happily! I had an unpleasant experience with reservations getting lost on my birthday. After voicing my concerns, Brian, the General Manager, contacted me to make it right! His service went above and beyond and made up for the service I received on my birthday. I’ve been a long-time patron of BJ’s and I will continue to be. It’s not uncommon for a restaurant to have an off-night or to make mistakes, but the way that Brian reached out to make sure that BJ’s remained in good-standing in my book was exceptional.

Wow, does this place get a range of reviews! It was a packed Friday night, and the place was hopping! We were seated within 15 minutes, and our server quickly got our beverage order. The menu is huge, with something to please everyone. We ordered a tavern pizza(thin crust) and it was delicious. Other items included the seared ahi salad, clam chowder, and small trees salads. All were excellent! We really felt the service was perfect!

Servers a great and place is nice, my wife and I just don’t like the beer they have all that much. They need some better beer on tap for sure and I hate to say it because we really like the place but whenever we start going there we end up heading somewhere else because we want a good beer with our meal. Just not used to being away from bend I guess.

Service was terrible, the server messed up my order and it came out 10 minutes after the rest of my party. When my Parmesan chicken finally came it was cold and the mashed potatoes had a hard crust over the top of them. Basically, my experience was not good. The service was slow, the food was not good, and the bill was expensive for what I got. I will not be going back.

First off, the menus are huge. I ordered the California Chicken Sandwich. it came with advacado, swiss cheese, bacon, lettuce on a grilled sour dough. Sounds delicious. However, the chicken tasted stale. Did come with delicious shoe string fries.

My husband and I went in last week. It was quite busy, given it was a Friday night. We had to wait about 20 minutes. The hostess seemed nice and helpful. For appetizers, we had the lettuce wraps. Stick to the ones at P.F. Chang’s. These were simply a pathetic knockoff that didn’t copy it well at all. I had the Parmesan chicken and my husband had the jambalaya. My chicken had a weird balsamic vinegar taste that just got stronger as I ate it. The mashed potatoes had a sour taste(I didn’t even know that was possible) to it. My husband liked his food. It seemed more edible than mine, except it had a very strong fishy smell to it, which nauseated me. We both had sodas to drink. The service was atrocious. Our waitress didn’t seem like she really cared to be there, and neither did any of the other wait staff. I’ve never experienced service that bad. She never picked up a single plate or glass up off our table until the end. We had a long rectangular appetizer plate, two small appetizer plates, two entrée plates and five glasses clogging up our table by the time we were done. We had to ask for refills on drinks. The one single time she asked if my husband needed a refill, she completely ignored my empty glass. I had to flag her down every time we needed something. The staff appeared to be extremely apathetic. Every single person who worked there walked into the room we were in and looked around, but couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge the growing number of plates we sat at the edge of our table, or notice we were scrunched into the corner of our booth trying desperately to find room enough to eat comfortably without knocking all the plates and glasses off the table. I got up while being bored waiting to be seated to use the restroom and every waitress who was serving as I walked through almost ran me down in the walkway. One almost elbowed me in the face and had a nasty attitude, acting like I had no right to walk through to use the restroom. They all had bad attitudes. Needless to say, she didn’t get a tip and I will never be going back again. I had hoped it would be a much better experience than that, but sadly it wasn’t and I won’t be going again.

I keep coming back because of the people that work there and the food, that’s 5 stars. Then it hits me prices went up and no more happy hour. No more BJ’S…

The food is good. But the drinks here are pretty bad. Considering that drinks cost as much as a meal, it should be good… Didn’t even feel a buzz

I know it is a chain but I love them so! I bellied up to the bar to watch the Raiders beat the Rockies on a rainy Sunday. As a happy coincidence I made it during their most excellent happy hour($ 1 off drafts and $ 2 off apps). The Piranha Pale Ale was yummy and refreshing. As an accompaniment I also ordered the California Club Flat Bread which had perfectly seasoned chicken and lots of avocado, it was a very nice compliment to the beer.

Although I was with a large party(~26) it took very long to be seated even with a reservation! Probably around 40 minutes. Although that is my only complaint it does warrant a drop in rating because I get hangry easily! I ordered the fire-roasted barbacoa chicken and added avocado(which added a lot to the dish). The chicken was cooked well. I shared the chocolate chunk and cookies n cream pizookies with friends. Surprisingly, I actually thought the cookies n cream was slightly better than the classic chocolate chip. Both were great though.

First the service is awesome! The beer & cocktail selection«huge» & the garlic chicken pesto flatbread pizza was almost perfect(fresh tomatoes instead of Canned) They even have a rewards program dollar for dollar. My bartender/server was McKenna & she’s fabulous!

Asked for a non alcoholic drink. Got few suggestions, then I asked for ginger beer. And after having drinking half of it, I realize it was and alcoholic ginger beer. Not happy. !!

My husband and I used to walk here for beers and tapas before catching a movie at Regal. It’s in a great location for that! The service is always friendly and we like knowing that we can be in and out fairly quickly if need be. The food is pretty standard chain restaurant food, but I have to say that I really like their deep dish pizzas. The crust on those are always so crispy on the outside and soft of the inside, almost like they fried it. Please dont tell me the calorie count on those! We like that they have an extensive tap list of their own beers. They’re not crazy impressive, but they sure do cover all beer tastes and usually there are one or two more interesting styles/beers on tap.

My husband and I went to BJ’s for the first time earlier this week. The parking lot is large which is greatly appreciated. The restaurant is clean, well kept, and has fresh décor. The staff is friendly and checked on us often.(Though I wish they’d give us a bit more time to work through the huge menu!) To drink I had the delicious pear cider and my husband had the Long Island iced tea. To eat I had the shrimp scampi. For the price, I was not a fan. I understand that it was a «light blend» but It seriously lacked flavor. I tried to give it more flavor adding pepper and Parmesan cheese that was at the table but it still just didn’t cut it. My husband had a small BJ’s favorite deep dish pizza. It was the perfect portion and he definitely left full and satisfied. I had a bite of a slice and I thought it was delicious. Even though I wasn’t blown away by the scampi I will definitely be going back and trying different things on the menu, or just stick with the pizza!

Great service, great atmosphere and good food. The wait staff was friendly, prompt and attentive. The hostess noticed our hungry/cranky son and brought over crayons and crackers without us asking. The food came relatively quick and our waitress was fantastic. And this was all while they were packed. Only downside is the size of their menu. It’s too big, which made it overwhelming and difficult to decide.

BJs won me back over! We had a team lunch with several people eating on special diets, and BJs was our option today. In reviewing the menu online I saw the dietary restrictions menu they had– that really gives this place tons of extra brownie points back. It was nice to see the common allergens included in each dish laid out so nicely. Kudos BJ for making this so easy for people who need to/are avoiding sulfites, soy, wheat, milk, eggs, nuts, fish etc. So much stuff hidden in food it’s not easy to always tell– so thank you! The waitress was very kind and accommodating to the special diets(I was one this time), and had no issues with taking the order or answering questions. The food came out cooked well and tasty. Definitely an improvement over my last visit!

BJ’s is now our go-to place for Duck games. You can always find a seat, they turn on the sound with the games, and you can see a TV from nearly every seat. I enjoy the food and their selection of beer is good. Their prices are a little high, especially for their specialty cocktails, but if you catch them during happy hours prices are great. I have had a couple bad experiences here, but one of those times I wrote to BJ’s using their customer feedback on their website and they were really great about responding to my email. The staff are a gamble, but most of the time they’re pleasant. It’s usually the hostesses that seem to have bad attitudes, but that may be due to their age(typically very young girls). The wait staff are typically consistent, good, and friendly!
