I think of Burch’s as being a superior shoe store. I have very difficult feet to fit and I have had great success in buying shoes and orthotics there. I am a fan of Keen’s brand shoes/​sandals and have purchased them from Burch’s before (two pairs). This time, however, the new one’s left shoe is killing my foot. My older Keen’s are still great; these fit differently. I wore them in the house for several days before I started wearing them outside. However, there was no way of knowing that extended ‘real-​world’ use would become intolerable. Certainly my stride outside could not be reasonably assessed in my apartment. I called to explain this and they said they would not accept them back after wearing them under any circumstances! I am shocked by this. Burch’s has always been about a superior fit and customer service and these shoes are not cheap. Massively disappointed and Burch’s will no longer be my first go-​to store.

I got a great pair of Rocket Dog shoes there for a nice price. I get a lot of compliments on them! Great selection and helpful staff.
