Most days they have the best burritos in town. Some days the tortillas are under cooked or the portions are smaller than usual. I guess it depends on who’s working at the time. They almost never have enough salsa bottles out so you end up having to share with another table. Recently the prices have increased and the attitude of some of the employees has gotten really bad. Sad to say but I think I’ll take my business to another restaurant that appreciates my business.

I really like this place. Only complaint I have is chills rellenos sometimes have a ton of seeds. Totally throws off the texture. When that dies not happen chile Rollo wet burrito is delicious

So I’m pretty sure I got overcharged because the«burrito boy» had to «accidentally» ring me up on two checks, which makes no sense but whatever, I mean, I smoke the occasional joint too so I get it. BUT then he proceeded to get 2 out of the 3 items we ordered wrong. When I explained repeatedly what was wrong(no tomatoes and no onions /no tomatoes and no lettuce), he then got the order wrong a second time. Don’t waste your time at this location. Hit up Franklin Street. Plus their food tastes better anyway.

I get breakfast burritos for my work group from this location all the time. I highly recommend huevos rancheros and the chorizo burritos. In fact their chorizo is the best in town– they don’t over cook it like most places.

I have HADIT with this location! They never pick up their phone and their website says they close at 10pm… I just called to place a to go order at 8:27 and they refused and said they are getting ready to close… I mentioned that their website says they are open until 10pm and she said they close at 9… OK well as I’m writing this review it is 8:33…I’ve already called to place an order a half hour before closing… I didn’t know it would take that long to make nachos(sarcasm)…this was the last straw… not to mention the horriblely snoody and uncomfortable customer service and numerous wrong orders… I used to eat here a few times a week… now I remember why I stopped… boo

My husband and I gave this a try after a recommendation from a friend. We wish we would’ve saved our time and our money. We shared nachos and a burrito with green salsa. The total was $ 16 which seem outrageous for fast food(or semi-fast food) and there was absolutely no flavor. The nacho chips were soggy, the chicken had absolutely no flavor, and the guacamole was terrible.

Yummy yummy breakfast burrito! I was never a fan of breakfast burrito, but I came here and it was still early in the morning, so I decided to try their breakfast burrito and I loved it: D If you’re in Eugene be sure to stop by Burrito Boy for a breakfast burrito :)

Great burritos and fast, good prices. BUT, why in the world is the management so damn cheap with their red sauce? They either won’t put any in the bag with your order at all, or just put 1 in. Even if we have two or three burritos. If we ask for more, we get dirty looks and they throw them into the bag, just kind of angry. What is the big deal with not giving us red sauce? We’ve even suggested that we don’t want the green sauce if it means we can get the red sauce, or more of the red, instead. But NO, they just won’t. We even offered to pay them for it! Still NO. What is their deal?

Burrito Boy at first glance nothing fancy. Don’t be fooled you want authentic Mexican burritos or tacos this is the spot! Trust me I’ve grown up on this food just like mom’s cooking! A little slice of Mexico in Eugene!

I tried Burrito Boy for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. I ordered a «chicken taco salad» which proved to be the saddest excuse for a salad I have ever seen. The meat-to-lettuce ratio was completely off, so I was overwhelmed by chicken(and all of the other toppings). In terms of flavor, my meal just did not cut it. The chicken was bland and the refried beans were overpowering. The guacamole at Burrito Boy is more like a sauce made from blended avocado. Call me a traditionalist, but I much prefer my guac to be chunky. Leave the sauciness to the verde salsa, which is actually pretty tasty at Burrito Boy. On a more positive note: the service at this particular Burrito Boy location is extremely fast, the staff is warm and friendly, and the portion sizes are huge for the low price. That being said, I will probably never return to Burrito Boy.

While it was a little bit out of the way, the food definitely reminded me of Mexican food back at home in California! The price was very reasonable, and I ended up getting that giant burrito with the three meats(called El Burro«Suprimo»). It was so good! I was nervous to have it at first, since I don’t usually get that kind of meat, but it was fantastic. Would definitely bike the 2 miles to get there again. I also liked that they offered unsweetened ice tea, and had other varieties of drinks. The service was also super fast and friendly.

Burrito Boy… I knew you when… you were the very first Mexican fast food in all of Eugeneland(not counting Taco Bell!). Back then, I was so grateful to have you in town that I devoured your burritos, your quesadillas, your taquitos with abandon. Fast forward to the year 2014. What happened?!? I went to the West 11th location two weeks ago to have a plate of beef nachos. Meat tasted«old.» But armed with my loyalty for this first-ever Mex fast food joint, I shrugged it off thinking«that which does not kill me…» We came in at 8:45pm and noticed that they had closed off the back section of the restaurant(they close at 10pm). After we ordered & sat down, my friend noticed that the grill looked like it had already been turned off(coz no food was being cooked and no pots were on it) and one of the ladies was standing with her shoes on top of the grill of the stove and dusting the upper area(hood) of the grill with the broom. There was this frantic closing cleaning activities going on(at 8:45pm?). I usually don’t even pay attention to these things. Windex was on the cutting board with a rag where food was being prepared. One of the staff was sweeping the front area where the customers were seated, making the dirt airborne. It just had this whole feel that they would much rather close the shop than take any more orders. We came back yesterday around 8:55pm and it was the exact same thing to the letter! Lady on top of the stove dusting with the broom spreading the dirt from ceiling to where food was being prepped and wrapped up, back section closed off, another girl sweeping with a frenzy kicking up dirt and dust on the front section where customers were eating, surly lady at the counter with such an attitude she couldn’t care less whether you ordered or not. Windex with a rag on the cutting board. My friend & I looked around & saw exactly the same scenario we saw two weeks ago. The food we got served was lukewarm, tortilla was cold and chewy. The feel of the place now seems like they couldn’t give a s – t for any customer service whatsoever – as long as people are willing to buy their food, they know they’ll make their money no matter what. The whole charge on your credit card is another issue I’m not even gonna get into, but the other reviewers were right – watch your debit/credit charges. Pay attention to your receipts. In these hard economic times, place your vote by taking your business where it counts – people and businesses who try harder to earn your loyalty with good quality food and reasonable service. Vote with your hard-earned money and take your business to places that sincerely appreciate it and constantly try to earn it. It’ll be a statement that will not go unnoticed. I gave Burrito Boy another chance. I think it’s time to cut the thread and move on. Adiós!

A Eugene, OR classic. If you get a burrito here, always get it wet(red sauce, cheese and chips). Each location has been very consistant.

Great breakfast burritos for that pounding headache from last night’s booze. Excellent chips and salsa, but the guacamole is a bit too blah for the price.

Would probably lean to 3.5 stars. Had a Breakfast Burrito here a few years ago(the Chorizo) and it was great so decided to give it another try. Had the Carne Asada Boy Burrito with their Verde Hot Sauce on the side– Pretty good! My oldest had the same and she said the same. Place was clean and service was friendly and fairly quick. Would have no problems going back.

After a coworker told me that Burrito Boy is a good burrito joint, I though I would give it a try. So I went to this Burrito Boy and the nice thing is that their menu is easy to understand and read. I had the Chicken Boy Burrito and it was a remnant taste of a burrito supreme from Taco Bell but huge and cheaper. The burrito had a good flavor, but could have been better if the chicken was marinated with some sort of flavor instead of just using plain grilled chicken. The service was good and the help was all smiles. It’s good to see that from time to time. Anyway for a cheap, but good burrito, I must say you won’t go wrong with this joint.

Since my carne asada«boy» burrito experience was questionable, the next time, with help from Unilocal,I ordered a bean and cheese burrito(special for $ 4 w a drink). That’s the way to go. Also got the warmed chips and guacamole for an extra $ 3, but the guac was almost runny it was so smooth. It poured out of the container. Not sure what they blend it with to do that but I found it unappetizing, though the taste was ok. I loved the green salsa! Next time I may try an enchilada and/or tamale.:) And I will be back for the bean and cheese burrito for the perfect frijoles and fresh tortilla alone!

Picked up two wet burritos from this joint which my husband proclaimed as his old college post drinking grub hub. He got the carne asada, I got the vegetarian — all to go. When we got home, upon sniffing his dinner(typical routine), he announced«gamey» fumes. I went in and ate a piece of his meaty burrito — sure enough, it tasted like old meat that was cooked. Peehheew! Meanwhile, I noshed down on my delicious, supple vegetarian burrito filled with beans, rice, sour cream, tomatoes and guac. I gave him half out of common courtesy. He chowed down on it and drove back to the dub B to return his stanky a$$ burrito. They made him a vegetarian version as requested and gave him a bag of chips and salsa to go with it. Good recovery, still if old meat is being cooked up, the public body needs to know. Buyer be ware, I’d go vegetarian 200% with this Boy.

We all know Burrito Boy isn’t the culinary future for fine mexican cuisine, but on the other hand, they make some pretty decent burritos. Not the best, but they work for what they are. Today a friend and I swung in and grabbed a few bacon and egg breakfast burritos. For 3 burritos it was $ 14, so it’s faily priced and good in portion size. The burrito was a flour tortilla that had egg, bacon and potatoes. Even though it was simple, the green salsa added a perfect taste and it was solid. But really… a lil pico de gallo, or even cilantro and onions would’ve been a nice touch. Not complaining… mildly suggesting. This location is a lot more spacious and cleaner than others, customer service is great, and they have a nice drive through that’s a great option when swinging by and not having the time to go in and sit. You can call it in, pay at the window, and be on your way. My original review points out how this is the best mexican I had ever tried, that is not accurate… possibly then, certainly not as of now, but for the price tag and quantity i can pass down a solid 3.5!
