Decent little café to hang out in for a quick coffee sesh in between classes. Solid location. Not too crowded usually.

I LOVE this place. I come here every morning between classes and get coffee and a snack. So far, my favorite drink is a classic mocha with no whip, and it tastes the same everyday(which is great! no disappointments). One thing I really love is that they have gluten free options and they actually taste good too. Their gluten free breakfast sandwiches are great, which is hard to find lately. Not very many places can do gluten free items correctly but The Buzz can. I will miss them when the EMU gets reconstructed in the upcoming year, so hopefully I’ll find another coffee house to enjoy!

Nice little café on the lower level of the EMU. Coffee is unremarkable, but they have a lot of choice for ready made and custom sandwiches, as well as pastries(including gluten free) and pasta salads. The front of the café is always busy, but walk to The Break in the back for a nice quiet place to sit, with comfy chairs!

Do not come to The Buzz expecting great coffee. The University of Oregon campus serves Alann Bros coffee, which in my opinion, is not very tasty at all. However, that being said, the Buzz is still a great place to grab a quick coffee while on campus or a tasty snack. I love the UO coffee shops’ bagel sandwiches with dill cream cheese & veggies. Each week, on one day(I believe Tuesdays), the Buzz serves VooDoo Donuts which is fabulous for those of us who do not have the transportation to make it to the VooDoo location downtown. The prices are decent, the service is good, but the coffee… make sure you get something like a sugary latte to cover up the taste of the coffee itself.

THEYHAVESANDWICHES! And, while they’re not as large as Subway, they’re decently priced and delicious. Do it.

The Buzz is a great place to go to get coffee, hot chocolate or a chai, and they have good service as well as a nice atmosphere to sit and do homework or have a chat. =) Very nice place.

Located in the lower half of the EMU, the Buzz Coffeehouse is great spot for just about any purpose. Though most students come here to study and drink coffee, it’s a great spot to chat with friends, enjoy drinks and a sandwich, or just lounge to chill out after a long day at school /work. The peak hours are going to be during the afternoon. Finding a seat or a space will be very difficult but during the night its nice and quiet. The weekends this place is almost dead. Speaking of chairs, they’re all fairly comfy here. It’s never out of the ordinary to see someone dose off with a book in hand here. The general atmosphere is clean, busy, yet relaxed. Customer service here is very good and their pre-made sandwiches are reasonably priced and tasty. Coffee is by far the most popular beverage here, but I am a bigger fan of their smoothies. I’m told the Belgian Waffles are a hit here during the morning and I’ve seen a lot of faculty shoot for their muffins, croissants, and other baked goods. Things worth noting is they take credit card and UO campus cash here. I believe there may even be free wifi available as well. If I had my choice between this place and a Starbucks, Buzz wins by a long shot.
