Absolutely delicious bagel breakfast sandwiches, but their coffee is watered down. I used to always go here and I remember the coffee being good. Coffee is so cheap… put in more grounds!

I’ve got nothing negative to say! I had the Turkey bagel sandwich on the garlic bagel and it was hands down the best bagel sandwich I can remember eating. I also had their rad bubble tea. They have so many flavors!!! At least 40, for sure. It was a little overwhelming, but my honey dew smoothie with coconut jelly was a awesome choice. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

My Taro smoothie with tapioca balls was pretty good. I went into the store at a slow time and it was really nice. Nice, clean bathroom as well.

waited 30 mins for just a bagel. It’s the second time already. They have 3 workers standing there chatting while one is doing the bagel.

Their bubble tea is really good! Probably the third best placr I’ve tried, and I’ve tried out a lot. The only problem is the price. They charge a bit much, and don’t even fill the cups all the way. Nice for an occasional treat when you have a bit of money.

DISCLAIMER: I am a boba snob… I visited this location near the campus(very convenient for me) yesterday. They were somewhat busy but certainly not too busy to provide excellent service. The customer service was very good. I went in to get some boba. So I ordered a Thai Iced Tea with ½ boba and then a Iced Mango Green Tea(my favorite drinks) with rainbow jelly(since they didn’t have mango eggs)… The order totaled $ 8+ so each drink was about $ 4, which is on the higher end of somewhat average for boba locations in SoCal. Flavor — The Mango Iced Green Tea was FANTASTIC! I loved it… full of flavor and the rainbow jellies weren’t even bad. The Thai Iced tea, however, was not at all traditional. I don’t know how they brew it or if they use thai tea leaves to brew but it looked like the entire drink was powdered and I was not impressed with the flavor. I will not be getting Thai Iced Tea here again — although the boba, however, was EXCELLENT and cooked perfectly. There are plenty of Thai food options here so I am not concerned about the options. They provided me a frequent drinker card etc… overall good service. They accept credit cards via a «square» like application on an ipad. Drinks were made efficiently. My only and main complaint is that the drinks were not full. This is such a disappointment. If I pay for a large I want the drink full… I am not paying for a larger size to get a smaller quantity. Anyway worth a try. . I DID not try any of their bagels but they looked FANTASTIC and smelled as good!

Went in for lunch today for the first time since last year, and Milky Way must be under new management or something! The atmosphere is so much more appealing: padded chairs, couches, paintings on the walls instead of clutter… I can actually enjoy myself there! Service is great, and the food tasted great! I had a spinach bagel with lox that was delicious! Wouldn’t have gone out of my way to recommend this place to anyone before, but now I just might!

I ordered a smoked turkey bagel and haven’t been here in a while but what I always liked were their sprouts that they put on bagels. On their menu, it still states that you get these sprouts on each bagel and I was pumped walking back in and prepared for a different kind of bagel. So I ordered my bagel and waited for it to come and when it did I took a bite and realized there were no sprouts as indicated on the menu. I approached the counter to ask for sprouts since mine were missing, they informed me that they don’t have sprouts anymore in their bagels. I asked why it was still on menu then and they just said they hadn’t updated. So I proceeded to ask how long they haven’t had sprouts and well… It’s been over a year. Update your place! I’m a hungry college student on the run!

I ordered an americano for a buck 75 only to realize that there is a min $ 4 charge. That was my bad but regardless, that is still wack. So I ordered a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and it was OK. Bonus: great music.

Bubble tea and bagels are great. I’m not such a fan of the cold milk teas, but I’ve liked the other kinds enough to have been a regular for the last 4 years. I have a couple problems with the place though, all having to do with service. Through the years I’ve only encountered a handful of friendly people at the counter ready to take my order. The rest have been rude, or seem like they don’t want to be there. Like I’d mentioned before, I’m a regular. I’ve even spent entire terms visiting 3 – 5 times a week for my bubble tea fix(we can talk about how unhealthy that is later) and not only was I treated like a complete stranger by the folks at the counter who I talked to almost every day, but NOTONCE was it mentioned that there’d been a bubble tea card all along. Every 9 you buy, you get your 10th free. AREYOUKIDDINGME?! 3−5x a week for 3 and a half years= a whole lot of money I could have saved. oh well. The second common service related problem I have is my drink orders. They hardly ever get them right. It’s usually the same girl who gets them wrong so I make sure to speak as clear as possible for her but my order gets messed up by others too. Usually simple mistakes(like milk tea instead of black tea, or star mango jelly instead of strawberry) but big enough ones to leave a sour impression. SOALLANDALL I’VECONCLUDEDTHIS: –The actual food is great, their service is crappy. –Speak loudly, slowly and clearly or else your order is probably going to get messed up. –Ask for a bubble tea card because the people there sure as hell aren’t going to offer you one. — Go early in the morning if want a bagel. It’s pretty slim pickings come the end of the day.

I am impressed with the bagel and drink selection here. The boba milk teas here definitely hit the spot. It’s not the best milk tea I’ve had(because what can seriously beat real Hong Kong-style milk tea??) but they are the first place I’ve ever had rose milk tea. It’s hands down my favorite, second to the lavender milk teas I’ve had. Milky Way also offers green tea/black tea drinks, smoothie bubble teas, as well as coffee. There’s also a variety of drink add-ons outside of the traditional tapioca.(Probably comforting for those who’ve read about carcinogenic properties of tapioca pearls. Oops, I still order them. Sorry, Ma!) Get your tea-based teas with fruit-flavored jellies. It’s delish! My favorite is the mango star jellies. I don’t prefer their smoothie drinks – I think a majority of them are powder drinks. And definitely don’t get them with the tapioca because the tapioca balls get hard in the ice-cold drink.(No jokes, please.) The bagels are alright. I’ve only ordered a plain bagel with hummus spread here. I thought I’d receive the spread in a small container, but they had spread it for me and toasted it. A nice gesture, but I like portioning the spreads myself. I also wish they’d clean off their toaster grill once in a while. There were some charred crumbs stuck in my bagel. I guess it’s not so much a problem since I’m having those cancerous bubbles anyway, right?(Uh, wrong. Clean the grills, please.) Overall, service isn’t bad. Make sure you step up to the counter so they know you’re here to order and not just standing around waiting for an order you didn’t place. There’s also a $ 4 minimum to use a credit/debit card.

Great boba tea, but can be super sweet. I always get the iced teas either black or green and both have been good. If you ask, they will also put fruit chunks in your tea. I do 50⁄50 boba and fruit chunks, and it is always delicious. It’s located conveniently right off of the UO campus. The staff is pretty average, but good enough for a bagel and boba place near campus.
