Hiring predominantly hot people and shoving them into a small hut-like box is turning out to be a bad business move concerning customer service. The sexual tension ensuing between employees is creepy, making the customer not only uncomfortable, but also an active witness to this weird scenario of forced flirtation. I have concluded that it takes about 6 more minutes to receive my coffee compared to other coffee chains. My vanilla latte is a second priority to the coworker seemingly wacking off the other barista under the counter whilst charging my CC and harassing me with a stamp card.

Dutch Bros is always my favorite. I admit, I have had better tasting coffee in many other places, but Dutch Bros is consistent,(usually) fast, convenient, and tasty enough. Plus I worked there years ago and so I feel like a loyal little puppy dog. Anyway. The 11th St. DB parking lot drives me crazy pretty often with the way the two lanes of traffic merge into one line at one window, but I deal because it’s a convenient location. I deal usually. This morning, I happened to be exhausted from a week of moving across town while supervising 5 kids under age 9 on their last week of summer vacation.(Sob sob, rant rant. Ok, I’m done whining now.) Needless to say, my nerves were shot and my patience left a long time ago. After waiting in line a good ten minutes, a big mean SUV cut in front of me instead of waiting for their turn in line like we learned how to do in kindergarten. When I finally got close the finish line, the barista ran out, took my order and did her usual, «how are you doing today?» I couldn’t even muster a smile for her and just said, «I’m irritated. Your driveway situation sucks.» She smiled in spite of my sour disposition and made some agreeable comment, took my order, and ran back inside. When I got to the window, the employees were all smiles as always. Another barista asked how I was, and my response was«I’ve been better.» They gave me my drink for free and told me they hoped I’d have a better day. Now what could be a more humbling experience than that? Dutch Bros employees are generally friendly and fun at all the locations. This experience is just one of the many reasons I will continue to go to DB, despite annoying driveways. I also love that they have every kind of milk under the sun, now that I’m on an almond milk kick! **I realized that I never posted this review. I just went to this DB today and I continue to have wonderful experiences with the staff here. A newer employee, a young woman who loves dogs, is soooooo extremely kind and friendly. I wish I could remember her name, but I can describe her: youngish, thin, long brown hair, very pretty and a huge smile ALWAYS. Regardless of the terrible parking lot situation, I continue to frequent this DB because of the wonderful staff.

Dutch Bros employees are so upbeat and friendly it makes the experience of getting 3 days worth of sugar in a cup that much more enjoyable. Always good service, sometimes extra card punches, and yummy coffee to keep my day going. This location and the other Franklin Blvd. loc have been my go-to spots for this chain. I like that they have walk-up and drive-up service at both. The Carmelizer, hot or cold, is my fave. There’s so much sugary goodness that the less-than-stellar coffee is fine. It’s fiiiine. The only time I was ever defeated by coffee was here — when my punch card filled up I went crazy and got a 32 oz. iced Carmelizer with 4 shots. That’s right, 4 shots of espresso. I could only drink ~28 oz, and then felt ill and happy all at once. too weird. They support local nonprofits, too, which is appreciated, and they’ve kindly let me cut lavender that grows around their sidewalks. Love you Dutch Bros!

Randomly found this place driving through Eugene so stopped as it was the only sign of life at 6AM. Grabbed a latte and it tasted good: decent bodied roast and the milk was foamed to my liking. The barista Blare even had some doggy treats to keep my dogs quite while I enjoyed my coffee. I’ll keep an eye out for these guys while in Oregon as I liked the trendy feel of the place and their coffee was A++

Coffee is a sugar bath, which can be a good thing sometimes. A large mocha runs around 440 calories and 63 grams of sugar. Thanks to this, I have no idea what the quality of the espresso is since I can’t taste it. GREAT employees. They remember your name, your drink, and are unfailingly upbeat. Dutch Freezes are perfect on a hot day.

Discovered Dutch Brothers today, the servers there are so upbeat and fun cheaper than therapy too! Mike was particularly nice and comped our drinks as we were first timers and celebrating a birthday. Very reasonable, wide menu and patient staff plus the coffee is delicious! What more could you ask for, we will be seeking out more DB’s all throughout our travels!

Wandering around Eugene you’re bound to run into at least one person grasping a Dutch Bros signature blue-topped coffee cup decorated with their windmill tower signage. A great college student staple, Dutch Bros offers that fast, accessible, caffeine fix. Their various drive through stands decorate many of Eugene’s downtown street corners. I was late to the party since I was not introduced to Dutch Bros until 2 years after I moved to Eugene for school. I was taken to this East 11th stand on quite an awkward and sadly, uninspiring date, but that’s another story… The staff working that day were wonderful, cherry, and greeted us with smiles. It’s common to see fellow students working behind the counter. My date announced jokingly that I was a newcomer to Dutch Bros despite how long I had been in town, I was not amused. However, the barista graciously offered me a free beverage as a courtesy. I stayed true to my plain Jane coffee ordering and went with a large non-fat latte. The coffee was not exceptionally strong but prepared at the perfect temperature. Nothing worse than getting scalded! Looking at their menu, I was reminded of Starbucks. Personally, I am not a fan of Starbucks simple coffee drinks or their elaborate dessert-like drinks. However, I can understand why Dutch Bros draws so much attention especially with the younger crowds. If you’re someone who prefers fast, light, and slightly sweet caffeinated beverages, roll through to the nearest Dutch Bros!

My last stop before heading on a plane back to SFNEEDED to be Dutch Bros and this one definitely did not disappoint! The line was long, but once you got to the window, an extremely friendly employee actually made time to converse with us, found out we were from SF, told us where the nearest Dutch Bros in CA was, and gave us stickers! Awesome employees and awesome products, what more could you ask for?

The people that work here are some of the most friendly, awesome people I have ever met. They always greet me like they’ve known me for years and always seem to have time to stop for a minute and have a little conversation. The coffee is better than anything I’ve had since coming to Eugene, not that I ever have anything adventurous but the Americano is excellent. Make sure to get a card so that every 10th drink is free.
