We took our 2007 Volvo XC90 here when the transmission started to slip. We feared the worse (rebuild). They were willing to try much less expensive options which worked! I’m not sure I would get the same suggestions and expertise from other shops. Also, they change oil at a decent price and do a quality job. I felt they were honest, fair and answered all my questions. I will only use this shop in the future.

I’ve had our 1997 Volvo 850 to them twice now in the last year and left very satisfied both times. First time we were told by more than one shop that the engine would need to be completely rebuilt to the tune of almost $ 4000. Erik’s diagnosis was not a complete rebuild just a few major repairs that ended up costing about $ 2000. Far less than the $ 4000. the other guys wanted. Had the brakes done on our 2000 Ford Focus as well and very pleased w/​that work. Erik & Charlie are the best. Their new location on 7th St. is great too.

Not Just Volvo repair! Although a Volvo expert, Eric is just an expert mechanic. My boss takes his Toyota there, I take my Subaru there. The guy is just super fair and reasonable and a straight shooter. My car needed a new radiator and an oil change and I dropped it off and he called and was done with it a couple hours later. Have you ever left the mechanics with a smile on your face? If you’ve ever had a bad experience with a mechanic or overpaid and know the value of a super nice, fair, awesome mechanic then make these guys your shop. As long as I live in Eugene, these guys will be my shop. I couldn’t recommend them more.
