Firestone Complete Auto Care

I called into the store this last week and was quoted a set of tires by the manager. I decided since they had them in stock I would go there and purchase them.
When I showed up to purchase them, they informed me they were not in stock and would need to be ordered. So I left my car there until the tires came in.
The next day they came in, the tires that they had ordered were not the same ones they had discussed with me, but I had no choice but to go with what they got for me, because now the car has no tires on it.
While waiting for the car I was told they cannot get the blue off my white walls, which is why it was taking so long. So, finally I am told the car is ready, and was told that the blue will just come off when it rains or when I wash the car as they were not able to get it off for me.
I am very disappointed in my experience there, the sad thing is it’s not the first time I have left with less than satisfactory service from this location.

Made an appointment for 2:00pm to get my oil changed. They said it would take an hour. 2.5 HOURS later an OIL CHANGE is done. Poor communication and customer service. Very disappointed with my Firestone experience and won’t ever go to a Firestone again.

I called this store today at 230 to let them know I needed an oil change and also needed someone to look at my tires because I was pretty sure I needed them replaced as well. I asked the person I spoke if I needed to make an appointment because I didn’t have a lot of time and he assured me he had a few guys free and it shouldn’t take more than an hour if I headed over then. I drove right over and when I got there I re explained what I needed to the kid working behind the counter. He took my keys and let me know he would get started right away and be back with an estimate. I waited forty five minutes until I went back up to the counter to ask if he had my estimate yet. He went to ask the mechanic and came back to let me know that the didn’t have the filter they needed to change my oil and it wouldn’t be there for another 15 minutes. They hadn’t even looked at my tires until then so he brought back an estimate for two new tires at that point as well. I asked again how much longer it would take and he told me 30 – 45 minutes. I drive to Eugene every month to take care of my father so I really needed to make sure my tires and oil were ok for the drive home but I don’t have a lot of time to be away from him which is why I called to make sure it wouldn’t take too long. Finally an hour and a half late my car was done. When I was paying I was looking at the receipt and asked why an alignment hadn’t been done like we had talked about when I got the quote for the tires. He told me that the guy who does alignments didn’t have time to do it by the time they had started my tires because he was going home but that I needed one so I should probably get an alignment soon. The kid that helped me was nice but I run my own business and I would be upset if my employees let a client sit in my lobby for an hour+ without keeping them informed about what we were doing to help them. They should have at least started on my tires while waiting for the filter for my oil instead of just letting me sit there for 45 min and not even touching my car or telling me what was going on. I am super disappointed and will not be coming back to this store. My friends and family will also be hearing about my experience.

This Firestone is top-​notch. I have never had a less-​than-​great experience here and we’ve taken our car here at least 8 times in the last year and a half (our 2003 Cadillac requires an unfortunate amount of maintenance). The manager always remembers us and is incredibly friendly and professional. They’ve always charged us a reasonable amount and gone out of their way to make sure we know the different options we have for servicing our vehicle.
Having car issues is stressful enough on its own. I’ve been to a couple other auto shops in town and have never felt as comfortable and taken care of as when I come to this Firestone. I definitely recommend taking your vehicle here.
