I enjoy the vibe of the place. Pleasant, clean, mellow(jazz-ish) music at appropriate volumes, good quality offerings, etc. The staff is friendly. Today I had a dragon well-style green tea that was quite nice. My wife had a Rooibos. We were very busy today, and Perugino was a great spot to unwind.

My coffee was actually burnt, how do you burn a white mocha? I’m puzzled. The easiest thing to make I won’t be back. Baklava had too much clover and tasted too old, not fresh. Sad about the food because it’s a cute place, I would have been back.

I come here to work once a week. The baristas are wonderful. So are the soy chai lattes! They have two vegan muffins and both are good, but I would love more vegan options. Though I come here to work with a friend every week it really isn’t a good work space unless you happen upon the one table with 4 chairs next to a power outlet. They desperately need more outlets and 4 chair tables. Despite this I come every week because it’s beautiful and has a wonderful energy to it. And again, the baristas are really great.

Good coffee and super nice ladies. I haven’t tried their food yet but it looks and smells tasty. This is a great place to hang out and spend a cozy afternoon sipping something hot.

So a friend told me about this place because my other friend needed to chill somewhere for a few hours … So walking in the place is more upscale than most places in Eugene which is nice. The staff was friendly and the coffee was good… They sold caffeinated chocolate carmel’s and I could not avoid!!! Omg good!!!

Cold breakfast potatoes. Don’t waste your time with this place. There are many better breakfast spots in this town.

Ordered a common roll and hot coco… I can barely taste any coco in my hot coco… Think your missing a key ingredient there. The cinnamon roll was average. The cost? Way to high! Overpriced bland items put in a pretty place. Remember, first impressions are important, and this one means I likely won’t return.

This is a review of their happy hour. Their menu is small, because even tho they have a wide range of varietals, they only offer maybe one bottle for each varietal. But that’s okay; there choices of wines are good. The prices however… $ 1 off an $ 8 glass of wine isn’t really happy hour. It if it was $ 5 – 6 glasses, there might be more of a crowd. In any case, none of the patrons struck me as being there just to take advantage of the happy hour prices anyway. This is definitely a quiet spot, maybe for professionals who desire a more refined environment for relaxing after work. I enjoyed my quiet corner of the room, and maybe that was worth $ 7.

What a perfect little café! Really not a place for your college crowd. The classical music, decorations, and staff are all high class. Free wifi, plenty of seating, and quiet atmosphere make this place perfect to sit down and get some work done. I had a basic panini that I watched go from fresh ingredients, to hot off the grill, to my table. I nearly burnt my mouth trying to eat the piping hot but delicious meal. The panini was so crispy and flavorful I almost ordered another.

Nice ambiance. Ordered a mocha. Decent flavor, but weak. There are places where the drinks are sweet, and places where they’re not sweet enough. This place falls into the latter category.

We just love this place when we visit Eugene. On our way to the coast for a week of Geocaching and kayaking. Today we had the kale and white bean soup and a cup of coffee. The soup was just amazing, totally homemade with lots of herbs. Just love it ;)

I think there is potential to be good but it’s not that great. Got a pour over that took 15min to heat up the water which, by my opinion, is too long. Also the beans they used seemed to be slightly burnt an threw off the whole taste of the coffee for me.

My boyfriend and I have been going to Perugino for a while now. The baristas are the ABSOLUTEBEST!!! They are always kind, happy and efficient. I particularly am talking about Michelle and Bailey, although I’ve always had great service there, and always a friendly chat. I will definitely vote for them in the next«Best of» in the weekly. I forgot to mention that the coffees and the pastries are superbly done. We will continue to make this«our place«for a wonderful experience all around.

This is the only place I can really concentrate on homework. I get more done here in 2 hours than even at home or the library. But the only foods available are either bad for you pastries or bigger things like sandwiches and heavy soups, which are always delicious, just too much food sometimes. How about a hummus plate with some veggies?! It would be easier to snack on while I’m reading or typing away on my computer. I’d probably eat that everyday! I need my brain food :)

It has been a few years since I’ve experienced their horrible customer service and continues to be the worst service I’ve ever received, which is why I still feel like I need to share. You will be required to purchase something immediately or you will be asked to leave. During the 15 minutes I waited for friends to arrive, I was made fun of behind the counter, given terrible glares, and asked to leave because I wasn’t ready to order. I knew this because I had acquaintances in the coffee shop see the manager mock me when I wasn’t looking. She didn’t know I had mutual friends already in the shop who would tell me about her behavior later. Quickly after I realized they were not worth any of my money or time, I walked to a different coffee shop down the street. Later in the evening I made a phone call to speak to the manager but found out the woman who treated me so poorly was the manager! The manager yelled at me and hung up on me. It was so unbelievable! Stay away from here…

We love the live music here, every first and third Friday of each month. Coffee and wine go well together, but if you are hungry, there is good food too. Come in and enjoy!

I’ve been a couple of times. Either on my own because I had to duck in out of the rain, or with a group of friends. I found the service to be friendly, sometimes you have to be the one to strike a conversation. The food is pretty good, a bit pricey in my opinion, normally I just get a coffee. Lovely latte art, I think it’s required that baristas can do it or they are taught. The atmosphere is a very peaceful, classical music is always playing, it has a great location. Right outside the Hult Center, it’s an excellent place to sit, have a coffee and people watch.

There are some places so pretty that its image tugs at your heartstrings and forces you to cast an indulgent eye upon its quirks. Perugino, with its high ceilings, warm lighting, and echoes of architectural genius, has found a way, through my artistic heart, straight into my pocket. I love the dark wood, the warm tapestries, the long tables, the quiet nooks, the blue and white cracked porcelain tables, and the voiceless music. I can abide by the long, alienated hallway walk to the bathroom, and the sparsity of outlets. I’m currently sitting in Perugino with a pistachio-cranberry biscotti & a steaming mug of spicy house chai, pretending like it’s not 95 degrees and rising outside. Having positioned myself directly underneath an air-conditioning vent, the whole setup is nicely reminiscent of autumn. Whenever a sweat breaks out on my forehead, I take a sip of ice-cold lemon water, let the heat pass, and recommence with my gustatory cookie dunking. The latte foam adds the perfect touch of spicy, creamy sweetness to my nut-and-fruit studded biscotti; I do not fault the fly that hovers dangerously near my afternoon tea, hoping I’ll look away as it swoops in for a taste. I could do this forever– the cookie dunking, the chai foam mustache, the overzealous slurping– but looking down, I realize that I’ve already snarfed down the entire length of the cookie… which makes me sad… but also hopeful that some kind soul at Perugino will read this review & make the biscotti strips larger for extended dunking pleasure.
