Pita Fajita

This is pretty tasty cart food in the heart of the Whit.
A good-​sized, tasty and piping-​hot package was handed to me. My fajita pita had a lot going on: grilled tofu, grilled onions, raw onions, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and a slightly sweet sauce that delivered the good flavor of the smoked protein. Good pita too.
I also scored a chocolate chip cookie for $ 1 which was buttery and so yummy that I want to get back in my car and score a couple more.
Simplest menu I’ve ever seen: hamburger $ 7, pita sandwhich $ 7 (steak, chicken or tofu) and shave ice $ 3.
Friendly, casual guy in the truck.
Sadly, TLC is dead. The guy working there explained that it had become too much for the owner. He painted the brightly-​colored (perfect for Whiteaker) truck white, changed and severely pared down the menu.
Still pretty damn good.

Scrumptious! That word has to sum it up, cuz my mouth was too full of this delicious goodness!!! The pita bread, special sauce, pico de gallo, meat, and veggies are a superb combination.
Plus– the cook is amazing! Great customer service, to boot.
They’re located in the Whiteaker Food Court, right across from Ninkasi. Yeah. A Pita Fajita and a cold brew from Ninkasi… Perfection.
