Lilnda was a real sweetie when I took a pile of clothing the first time to get altered. getting ahold of her is a second matter since you can’t just walk in you have to call and make an appointment and what not. I tried taking some more clothing to her, but found out she isn’t doing alterations right now due to some health problems. So you might look elsewhere until she’s done. She is very reasonably priced however for when she’s taking orders again. I’ve also taken some items to Natalia’s Alterations in the 5th street market and she did another great job, although she does cost more. I wish Linda a speedy recovery.

Everyone I know that has gone to Linda doesn’t regret it. I have seen her doing dresses there before, but I can only speak to the shirts she’s taken in for me, and several pairs of pants she has altered (in all ways imaginable).
My shirts were double stitched and she replicated the double stitch with skill at a good price. Her turnaround time is very quick.
I think she does contract work during the day so personal business is by appointment only. The business is run out of the basement of her house, so be warned!
