This place will bring a tear to your eye! OMG this place is just awful! If I could rate it zero stars I would! This is NOT a Red Lion property. This reservation was made at a RLH I stayed at the previous morning, site unseen. «HUGE mistake!!!» Though in my defense I have never had to worry about the quality of a Red Lion Hotel. First off, this property is not located on 205 Coberg Street as stated on the Red Lion site, it is a pathetic shell of what possibly was a Motel 6 or something of the sort located at 599 Broadway. It is a nightmare to get in and out of, it is loud, it is in a skeezy area, the grounds are absolutely abhorrent which wouldn’t be horrible if it was priced as such. «Oh, but what a fresh coat of paint will do!» There are no amenities what so ever. And the front desk attendant said that this used to be some other property that Red Lion bought but has yet to do any renovations on. «And yet I am being charged Red Lion’s rates» If I wanted to stay at a stabbin’ cabin, I would pay $ 39 dollars a night. I am a member of the Red Lion Rewards so I thought that I would call the customer service line and see if they could make things right by maybe lowering the price or putting us up in an affiliated property(hopefully the latter) but she said that there were none, and there was nothing she was able to do for me. I guess she doesn’t understand I would never call a customer service line unless it was the last possible resort. So after the call I just felt so abandoned. I guess their customer service line isn’t really a customer service line. I am writing this review shortly after check in, feeling like I have been tossed to the wolves. I am REALLY dreading my stay here this evening and really hope all this itching is psychosomatic. OHGREAT!!! And to boot there were a billion middle school kids checking in for some sort of event, running up and down the halls, slamming doors, etc. seemingly unsupervised. My evening is complete now. «Appalling»
