Love this place, they take good care of their animals, they know their stuff and they always recognize me and ask how my tortoise is.

Prices looked great. Store was super clean. All tanks were very clean. Reptiles looked healthy! This place looked awesome and it’s a shame it’s closing! :(

CLOSED DURING the HOURS OF OPERATION? Totally frustrating! Website hours say «now open» as well as stating until 7:30 PM. The sign on the door says open until 6:30 PM on the day I tried going in the store, however, the store was closed and locked up with no signage to explain why. I drive way out of my way to come to this particular store. I also wasn’t happy with the size of «large» crickets I purchase a couple of days ago. Not quite sure why customers would it be informed and taken care of especially when they live out of town and get there during «open hours». Waste of time and gas when I have crazy evening schedules as it is for all of my kids.

Best customer service and staff, the owner was so nice and helpful and the place so amazingly well maintained and organized. I would recommend this store to anyone! Loved it and will be a customer for life. Great quality reptiles, no Oder, can’t say enough good things about this place

I stopped by here a little while ago. Fat cheap superworm! They have a good vibe, healthy happy critters & the owner is very kind. I’ve worked in the pet industry for years & feel any exotics shop that takes the appropriate care of the animals is a good one in my book! I’ll be back!

I’ve visited twice now and it was enough to make me sign up for a Unilocal account and write a review. This place is top notch.
We came into care of an ill bearded dragon and stopped in Reptile Universe on a whim while passing by one day. We waited to speak with the Dave for probably 15 – 20 minutes (busy day) as we were seeking some advice, and we were told from another worker that he would be the one to ask. Why did it take so long? This guy is absolutely PASSIONATE about what he does (he was making sure the previous people he was helping would get all the right things and advice for their new pet). Do not go here thinking you’re going to point at something, have them put it in a box, and leave like at a national chain pet store. No way.
Long story short, he gave us excellent advice for nursing this lizard back to health, prompted us to call him or stop in and let him know how things were going. He will give you advice on food, housing, bedding, etc, and then tell you that he doesn’t even care if you buy it from him, just do what’s right for the animal! (But do buy from him, because he’s local and he’s awesome!).
Caring for an animal is a commitment and a responsibility, and these folks know it – and they will get you set up with the right equipment and knowledge to keep your pet happy and healthy. Snakes, lizards, tortoises, and frogs are amongst some of the cool critters they house there. If you’re in the market, go talk to them FIRST. Absolutely blown away by how great they are!
