The Red Cane Theatre

Small theater where every seat is amazing and close to the action. The performance was a lot of fun.

We saw a children’s musical of Little Red Riding Hood called «Red and the Wolf» which was performed by 8 children ranging from 7 – 12 years old. We brought our 2 ½ yr old thinking it would be a bore for us and fun for her. It ended up being extremely entertaining and well written with some truly gifted children performers. They were adorable kids playing very difficult roles that included acting, dancing, and singing. I was really impressed by these kids and my whole family had a great time. We laughed a lot and enjoyed some creative renditions of classic songs like «Hit Me With Your Best Shot», «Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend» and «Aquarius».
The venue is very intimate and modest and they are clearly keeping it going out of love. I hope they can stay afloat and I love supporting small businesses like this. It was a real treat for us.

The Red Cane Theatre
This is a ‘cozy’ theater and our first visit. We made reservations for the show and desert — a novel idea. We were lucky enough to view one of the last days showing of Chrismas Christmas Christmas. Which, from my vantage point, I completely enjoyed. UNFORTUNATELY, you over booked and provided us with back bench seating and a tray we were suppose to balance on our laps. While others had real cups and saucers, real tableware (I used the reverse side of my plastic fork to stir my tea), and need I mention real tables and chairs, we were given foam toss a way cups with liquid to hot to hold, Even though we all paid the same full price.
I’ll be sure to ask next time and PASS on bench seating. And too bad for the performers if truly they only receive Tips, as we usually Tip between 20−25% of our bill when going out and more to the entertainers. I certainly did not see those kinds of tips given by those at the tables…

We have had our date night here twice and have been very pleased! The energyof the cast is great and they obviously work very hard to put on each show with a smile. During intermission, the cast changes back into waiter/​waitress costume and brings beverages and desserts. This is our all time favorite date night destination.

This little theater is the perfect little date night! They always aim to please and the staff is soooo funny! Plus the waiters are actually the stars in the show! The stage is small but you are right in the action so it evens out. Good popcorn and laughs that split my side! Lizz is a spunky waitress and always has a smile on her face and Amanda is friendly on the phone! Can’t wait to see what they have coming up for shows!
