I dropped off a Banana Republic beige trench coat and blue blazer at Skopils on Monday. I picked them up today(Thursday) and everything looked pretty great! The presentation was nice and everything was ironed /buttoned neatly. The price was fair($ 26). My only complaint is that I requested they cover the leather buckles with foil(it was recommended on the care instructions for the trench coat) and they said they would but they clearly didn’t because the buckles are pretty beat up now. It’s not horrible but I wish they would have been more careful. Other than that, I am happy with my dry cleaning. I will probably try out another cleaner next time though to compare.

I wear professional attire daily, so it’s important to me to know my clothing is cleaned properly. I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years now. My experience with Skopil’s has always been top notch. Thank you Skopil’s for your professionalism and your ability to get the job done right the first time.

Only place I go-now across town from my current place. I trust them, they do a good job, and don’t do me wrong. Lost a decal off a halloween costume once, but were very apologetic and did some orders for free when they couldn’t find a better remedy. Are extremely helpful when I’m in a jam and need my clothes done quickly.

I am sad to have to write this review because I’ve been using Skopil’s since the 1990s when I considered it the best cleaners in town. However, in more recent years it had become just another average cleaners, and then my last(and I mean LAST) visit was the straw for me. Took a bunch of stuff in including an almost brand new white blouse. Could have laundered the blouse myself but didn’t want to iron all the detail on it, so lazy me, I stuck it in the pile of stuff to drop off at the cleaners. Well, my beautiful, bright white blouse is grayish now. And ironically, the ironing job was just as pathetic as when I do it. Serves me right. Cleaners make mistakes, I understand this, but when I took the blouse back to discuss what happened, I got nuthin’ except a shrug of the shoulders and«we could put it back through if ya want. …» What would be the point of that? To make it gray-er? No apology, and when I said no thanks, my washer at home can do a better job — no offer to refund my money. Well, my washer can’t save it. An $ 80 blouse, worn twice, ruined, and not even a «sorry.» Taking my business elsewhere.
