I am OBSESSED with Slurp! Whether I’m in the mood for a super duper yummy smoothie or wonderfully satisfying acai bowl, Slurp consistently brings a smile to my face. A small cart located in Kesey Square, it’s makes for a perfect morning pick me up or an end to a day of exploring downtown Eugene. Shannon, the owner, is lovely and so cheerful and clearly is passionate about her product. I think I’ve made my way through their 10 flavor smoothie menu with the exception of one or two, each has been SO good, it’s just too hard to select a favorite but the Tart Face is mmm mmm mmm! It’s an addicting combination of cranberry/raspberry juice, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, and honey greek yogurt! All smoothies have a nice base of fruit sorbet or greek yogurt and combined with a variety of fresh fruits ranging from mangos, blueberries, pineapples, peaches, bananas, and more! I really appreciate that not only can you add in flax, spinach, or chia seeds, but smoothies can be adjusted upon request. One of my favorite random finds in Eugene, I highly recommend taking advantage of this summer sunshine and Slurp!

I have been looking for a good smoothie joint in Eugene for a while and have not been impressed by what I found until today :) Slurp makes amazing smoothies with a decent selection of ad-ons and the price was GREAT! If you are around downtown Eugene I highly recommend checking out this cart. I can’t wait to go back and try an acai bowl with my next smoothie!

Slurp is a smoothie cart in Kesey Plaza. «Smoothies and Acai Bowls» to be more precise. The owner is really nice. She says she has been down there since September and is generally open until 2:30 Monday thru Friday. When the weather changes for the better, she may stay open longer. Very nice looking smoothie options. I think all of them had some type of dairy, including a couple with greek yogurt and a couple with orange sherbet. I got one of the orange sherbet options. It was really good. I’m not down this way very often during the work week, but I hope this cart succeeds and is still down there next time I am.

I keep wondering how it is that Slurp’s smoothies are so much better than the ones I make at home? I have only tried the Delecadent with spinach(you can’t taste the spinach at all-just extra nutritional value). It’s so yummy that I haven’t tried a different flavor yet! Their prices are very reasonable-low even. I love that everything they sell is local, natural, and gluten-free. And try the Picky Bars! They are so good!
