Amazing locale and views, but not nearly as intimate and welcoming as their neighbor Silvan Ridge. This would be a great venue for a wedding and I really enjoyed their cheese plate. For about $ 16, it served 6 of us. There wasn’t a wine that stood out to me as magnificent. The girls at the counter were beautiful but not really that interested in serving you. Some seemed rather irritated actually. Sweet Cheeks was not as generous with their wine pours either. It was hard to get the sommeliers’ attention. Maybe that’s why I spent 5 times as much at Silvan Ridge. I’d come again for the views and cheese, and I’d seek in a bottle from Silvan Ridge ;-)

Gorgeous location. Windy roads to get here but worth the drive. Good variety of wines. The Rosey Cheeks seemed to be very popular. Too sweet for me. They have a complimentary tasting of three wines. $ 6 for the next flight which includes 5 preset tastings and one that you choose. They have a cheese and cracker platter for $ 16. One beer — some type of blond ale — for the non-wine drinkers. Friendly server and staff. Would be a great place for a wedding. Stop by if in or near Eugene.

Enjoyed a great visit on the hill thanks to Cork and Barrel wine tours. Great wine, great music, very professional tour group. Can’t wait to do it again.

Back when I lived in Eugene I visited Sweet Cheeks to get my fix of sweet wine. It’s the perfect place on a Friday night with the live music and the free wine and cheese pairing. The patio can’t be beat — the view is pretty amazing. I was recently here for a college reunion and found that my taste in wines has changed a bit in the last five years. I still love the Sweet Cheeks’ Riesling but I’m not a fan of the Chardonnay. There are complimentary tastings, which is awesome! And the winery can be reserved for events like baby showers and weddings, both of which were happening the day we visited. So, make sure to call in advance if you’re bringing a large group. The wedding wasn’t until later, but the chairs were set up, and it really is a lovely venue for a wedding.

What a gem. The drive to the winery was just lovely and the setting once you got there was simply superb. beautiful tables and chairs were available to enjoy your picnic or delightful cheese, cracker and nut tray. The wine tasting flights were available both compliments of the house and for a small charge. All the the facilities including the restrooms were lovely. The setting is quite scenic and you won’t want to leave. I really enjoyed the wines.

A group of us go here every year for their summer solstice concert to hear a wonderful Jamaican reggae singer Norma Fraser. We heard that they are not having her there anymore which saddens us because she packs this place when she performs and really bring the crowd out and her performance is dynamic, entertaining and what a powerful, soulful voice… Sweet Cheeks wine is not that good we only come here to see her. Needless to say we won’t be going there this year we just heard she will be performing at another winery in June At Domaine Meriwether so we are excited and will definitely go there instead.

Great location, mediocre wine. They have a great outdoor space with amazing views. We have been going for years and are wine club members. It’s an amazing place to go to picnic on a sunny day. Lots of yellow jackets in late summer though. As they’ve grown, the quality of wine has gotten worse. It’s still good, it just used to be better. They now have a larger outdoor covered area with heaters for cooler days and evenings. Service has always been cheerful and easy going. It’s a comfortable atmosphere for wine lovers of all demographics.

What a beautiful winery. The drive is such a short jaunt from Eugene, and the scenery on the drive is breathtaking. The dramatic stone patio that has a sweeping view of the country below is absolutely amazing, especially as the sun goes down. The wine is amongst some of my favorite, their Pinot Noir will not disappoint, I find it to be an elegant red with hints of cherry. The Rosy Cheeks is nice to sip on, quite sweet, but floral and fruity as well. But I have to say that the Pinot Fusion and the Viognier are my favorites here! I’ve experienced this winery in many capacities, as an employee of a visiting food truck, as a customer, as a guest, and as a student and every experience has been amazing, the employees knowledgable and kind. I love that you can bring your own food, but they most always have a food truck there to cater to those who didn’t bring anything. The fire places are glorious during the chilly, rainy months, and the patio during the summer and fall is absolutely divine. The overall ambiance serves all occasions or just even a day out, wine tasting.

Beautiful place to taste wine and sample some cheese on a Friday evening. 3 stars only because the wine pour girls are snotty as hell and poured me about half of what they poured my friends boyfriend. WTF? I thought it was a fluke but she did it over and over. Little did she know he’s a dead beat with no job and I’m the one paying that night so needless to say she did not get tipped on our bill. I will be back for the atmosphere, wines, and cheese, not some much the totally partial service which was beyond rude.

Sweet Cheeks Winery is beautiful with a fun interior and good food. I visited for a Sunday brunch featuring the Eugene Orchestra and it was a lovely morning. We did not actually try any wine, so I can’t comment on that. Supposely, Sweet Cheeks allows you to bring your own picnics to enjoy alongside some wine and the beautiful scenery — which is stunning by the way. The outdoor patio area is really great with plenty of seating, fountains, and cute little lamps as if you were in Europe. You have a great view of the vineyards. Inside the décor is fun with animal paintings and the bathrooms are very clean. The food we had that day was delicious for a serve-yourself-buffet. I don’t know if it was provided by Sweet Cheeks or another establishment, but our overall experience was great. One downside was sitting outside we were surrounded by 10+ bees who wanted to join us in eating brunch. It was incredibly distracting and we weren’t the only table affected by them. While it’s a minor inconvenience and I’m not sure what could be done to change it, that’s definitely worth noting. I’d highly encourage you to go visit Sweet Cheeks to enjoy an afternoon in the Willamette Valley!

Love sitting out on the patio in the summer. It’s a beautiful area, great view, and perfect way to spend a Friday eve(they have live music usually). I believe they bring a food truck in every Friday, so you can get some great food, since they only offer light fare, cheese plates, etc. Only 4 stars because personally, I’m not a huge fan of their wine, but the atmosphere can’t be beat. Their sparkling is pretty good. Low-key area, definitely family/pet friendly, you can bring your own picnic/dinner. This is a no-snob zone.

Great view, 4 stars for that. But the wine was just alright. The rosy cheeks rose was perhaps the best. Service was not the most attentive but not bad. It was our first stop but I would go back just for the view or a picnic!

I loved the drive to the location. I never thought about a wedding in OR till now, thanks a lot! The views were beautiful, the grounds very well kept. The service was lovely. The ladies were very patient with my indecision, great with small talk, made us feel very welcomed. I think the hummus box should be less olives and more pita. but that is it. I had the Vintage Riesling… and it was delicious:)

The drive there is so freaking beautiful!!! And the views once there are breathtaking. More trendy compared to Silven. I had such a fun time here! Went during the day on a Tuesday… went around noon and there was a small rush around this time at the bar area. The crowd is a little older… but I wasnt there for the that, so I wasnt bothered. They offer an assortment of flights… A complimentary flight of 3 house wines 5 reds and 5 whites The fusion was really good… she had opened a fresh bottle when she poured us this… I would recommend letting this wine air a little before drinking to enjoy the full taste I also loved rosy cheeks… it was so sweet and yummy I tried all 13 on the menu… there was a few I just didn’t personally enjoy that didnt fit with my taste palette… but they offer a little bucket for pour out. My bestie and I had ordered the ‘picnic for two’… assortment of meats, cheeses, crackers, bread, artichoke dip, mustard, jam, cheese cake… it was huge and very filling… a must order if you plan on drinking everything on the menu so you can balance out your stomach! Also the blondie server was so nice and energetic… she was great at remembering what wine we were on… and very knowledgeable.

This place was beautiful and comfortable for people who enjoy the experience without having to be pretentious. I’ve had more than a couple of recommendations for this winery on both the wine and the atmosphere, they did not disappoint on either point. You can bring your own food, buy a bottle or tasting and just enjoy the weather and landscape that surrounds you. We were not as prepared on the food front so we bought a cheese/cracker/nut tray.(16.00) I would have liked a few more food options but you could just bring your own. I could have also really enjoyed some soft music playing in the background. My small desires not withstanding I would highly recommend a visit and will be making return trips!

After living near Sweet Cheeks for years, I finally was able to check it out. Needless to say, I was very impressed. The winery has a very«high class» feel, but the staff was very friendly and not stuffy at all… even to me and my boyfriend, who’ve never done a wine-tasting in our lives. There is a wonderful outdoor dining/sitting area, with an amazing view to enjoy while sipping wines. The wines I tried were all very good, and I would especially recommend their 2012 Vintage Riesling.
