I love both the wine and the view at iris. Best place to spend a Sunday afternoon or host a big event. Their event coordinator is very professional and friendly, as is their whole staff!

Really delicious wines, beautiful winery tasting room with a great selection of wines. I recommend going there, the staff was really nice and the wines were affordable and delicious, I especially enjoyed the Syrah and the Pinot Noir

We first visited this tasting room last November and loved the venue and the wines. The tasting room used to be the kitchen for the winery owners family. And where do most friends hang out when they visit? The kitchen! Beautifully appointed«kitchen» in an Italian style as a previous reviewer stated. Great outdoor space around the tasting room with gorgeous views. I can only imagine how awesome it will be once the weather gets warmer. The wines were all delicious and very reasonably priced from $ 18 to $ 50 and most just over $ 20. Fantastic value. From the Pinot Gris; newly released Chardonnay; Pinot Noir and Tempranillo you will find several that you will like. People are really nice and know their wines too. Be sure to stop by as the view and delicious wines is worth the trip.

Rarely do I find a winery where I love every wine. I love Pinot Noir and am bit of a «Pinot Snob» and IRIS2012 Reserve Pinot wins. They offer several varietal Pinot Gris and I preferred the 2014 Pinot Gris. It’s on the drier side and not sweet. It has a nice finish. I was going to save it for summer. That did not happen. It was a great wine to drink while preparing Thanksgiving dinner. I joined the wine club I like their wines so much! I am looking forward to see what they produce in 2015. Iris reminds me of a Tuscan hilltop with great views of the vineyards. There is a beautiful courtyard between the residents home and the tasting room. It’s worth driving up the long gravel road.

Good wine, and friendly staff. We did a wine tasting for my birthday here and really enjoyed this vineyard. They have cheese, crackers, and snacks you can buy or you can bring your own and sit outside. The views at this winery are amazing!

My brother and his girlfriend were in town last weekend and they wanted to go wine tasting. I’ve been through the area before, seeing that I basically live a mile away from Sweet Cheeks and Silvan Ridge(Hinman) vineyards. However, I never had the pleasure of going to Iris for a tasting. It wasn’t for lack of trying, but it always seemed like the place was always closed. All that changed on Saturday, we were driving past and my brother practically drove the car into a ditch because he saw that the Iris tasting room was open. The vineyard is located very far back on the property(I seriously had no idea the place was so big). My brother clocked the travel time 8 minutes from the entrance to the driveway and to the opening of the vineyard. I gotta say, it was gorgeous driving in, the property is absolutely breathtaking, and knowing about how the iris’ bloom during the summer, I’d like to go back. The tasting room is very clean, and very Italian. The family occupies the home that connects to the tasting room. The building itself is stunning, a great view, an overhang, benches wonderfully fuzzy with moss. I loved it. I’ve never been to Italy, but I’d like to think that this is what it would look like. I really enjoyed the wine, I’m not one for bitter reds, so I tend to gravitate towards lighter, sweeter, white wines. I think my favorite would have to be the After Dinner Chardonnay. I like mead, and it made me really happy to catch the aroma of honey and then taste it. My brother bought a bottle for my mother to enjoy, though I’ve considered sneaking it at some point. The hostess was very nice and very knowledgeable about the wines and gave us generous portions in our tasting. We even got to pick the wines we wanted to taste from a small menu that she provided us. It was nice, I got to avoid wines that I knew I wouldn’t like. I despise being wasteful. All in all, this is a gorgeous place, I would definitely come here again. Hell, if I was one for dating, I would convince my date to come here to enjoy a nice glass of wine and take in the view.

I was just contacted by an owner of this facility. He was very professional, very apologetic and more than willing to rectify the situation. This impressed me very much and I am changing my stars from 1 to 5, based solely on the attention that was made regarding my experience. I do realize everyone or every business has an off day so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Iris Vineyards recently re-opened for tastings. The tasting room is in an Italian-esque kitchen. Apparently the owners used to live there, but now they live in the cute villa next door. I was told that wild Iris’ bloom all over the vineyard in the summer, which makes me want to visit again at that time! I tried a red-wine flight, which was good. I learned that a «reserve» wine is 100% made with their grapes, while«non-reserve» wines include some imported grapes. Very interesting! They set up some cheese/crackers in the tasting room, and the view outside is gorgeous!

I usually don’t write reviews, however, being a celiac, they offer gluten free crackers with the cheese plate, which I have yet to see at any other winery in the area. It made my day. The view and setting were fantastic, beautiful, very calming, and relaxing. The hostess was super friendly and outgoing, and made us feel right at home. By the way, the wines are pretty delicious too!

When are these guys going to re-open their tasting room? Their Pino Noirs are everything a pinot should be, I don’t think I ever had a better pinot under $ 25 dollars. I buy it by the case. Their reserve is great too, but more costly. If you don’t have a wine supplier you can find it at Zupan’s.
