The Burger House

The burgers taste fresh! I love the funky monkey milkshake. Fast service for quality food. The fries are great! If I’m going to cheat on my diet, The Burger House makes it worth it.

Dropped by today to grab a quick lunch. It was in the middle of the lunch rush and there was a considerable line in the drive through however these guys blew through the line in no time. Service has really picked up here it would appear!

I have been searching for a great drive-​through place to get a salad and finally found one at the Burger House! There are several types and I chose the Cobb The ingredients were fresh and high quality. It looked appetizing and was delicious. I was impressed with the friendly staff, the convenient location and reasonable price -$ 5
Definitely a new favorite — will be stopping on my way home from work to get dinner or lunch for the next day.

I, like many of you, grew up eating fast food before realizing it was horrible for me in my 20’s. I very rarely will eat at any of the mega fast food chains anymore due to poor quality and the countless terrible things that they do to process it all. This is why I decided to come here. Grass fed beef, fresh veggies and a DRIVE THRU! Brings me back to my childhood a little bit without compromising my health. Also, I feel good after eating it, which isn’t the same thing I can say for certain mega fast food chains.

Besides the fact that this is a gas station, the burger is quite good. I stumbled on this joint one night when it was the only thing open in the area and I was starving. Imagine my surprise at how good the burger really was! I’ve since visited a number of times. The star here is clearly the burger — complete with ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. (No pickle for me!) The burger and the burger alone are whats keeping this review at 4-stars…but barely. The fries are good when they are fresh, but I have gotten an order or two where they’ve been a bit past their prime and have become wilted.
Staff are semi-​friendly. The prices keep going up, though! In the past two months, my combo has gone from $ 8 to $ 9.50 in steady increments. It’s good, but not so sure its $ 10 good…

What a great find. Their onion rings are so good and the burger was huge and tasty. Better than DQ. It was a little cold but that was because traffic was slow getting back home. Fries were a bit salty but super tasty. Kids hot dogs were huge! They could not finish them. I seriously love the onion rings. I can’t believe you can get that great of quality through a drive through. Next time I want some I am going there!

Well it’s better than McDonald’s, and appropriately priced I guess.
The enthusiasm (or lack thereof) I have expressed in this review directly reflects my feelings about my experience with The Burger House.

I finally gave this place a go. After having been to the on-​site coffee shop a few times and passing it by en route to the Home Depot many more of those times. I’m glad I finally caved. This place was actually quite comfy and «nice» inside. I guess I always felt less than excited about the combo gas/​coffee/​burger thing they’ve got going here. But it was a good experience… too to bottom.
The good:
–my bacon cheeseburger
–my fries
–the staff (four thumbs up)
–the comfy chairs next to the completely useless «fireplace»
–the cleanliness of it all.
–the lack of actual, legitimate «bad» things to list
–the prices = very reasonable
–the staff (worth a double mention)
The bad:
–soft serve milkshakes?! (I loved it. So it’s not really «bad». But a true milkshake would’ve rocked my face)
I feel like this place is a solid contender for a fairly quick, fairly delicious, and fairly priced hamburger. I’d put my burger somewhere between NW Burger and Carl’s Jr. Which certainly places it above the likes of many other places around here. Especially given the prices. My burger was their «biggest», and it did a pretty good job of holding me over. The fries were pretty decent, too. Nice and crispy. None of that wispy thin McDonalds nonsense.
I recommend giving this place a go. They even offer a «dollar menu» that makes some good cents. …see that? I’m very funny.

Definitely a decent choice for fast food. Our family is picky and have to be cautious when eating out. Taste like A&W or Wendy’s … When I was a kid, not whatever it is they serve now.
We tried this place because Toxic was closed and the burger house also has local grass fed beef. If we are in the area we would eat here again. Fries are good. Love that they put lettuce, pickle, tomato, and onion. This place does use processed cheese… A big bummer! Though, I must be honest and say I would rather have a burger from Toxic Wings and Fries on River Road but this would be next in line. Room for improvement but good.

Awesome burgers and awesome service. Prices are competitive too. The smokehouse burger blows the western bacon out of the water. Keep that on the menu!!!

Nothing special about this place, burger was cold and fries were way to salty. Not impressed

LOVE LOVE LOVE the little burger and fries, and the breakfast burrito is totally worthy in the afternoon… for those of us who eat eggs all day. Fries were not greasy (like 5Guys), not were they salted beyond recognition. Can’t wait to go back and try MORE of their menu

The food was great the service was fast. I would recommend to anyone that wants fast food and good burger they also got our order right we can be picky at times.
The grass fed beef is what made the burger on time nailed it.

I stopped here because a friend recommended it. I was AMAZED! The burger was fresh and massive, the fries were beyond reproach and the price was surprisingly small. Great staff, fantastic food! Will definitely be back!

First time going there and they messed up our order. No big deal though. Still great food and sense its grass fed beef the price makes it worth it.

Do you remember what Wendy’s tasted like about fifteen years ago? This place nails it, but with better ingredients. Out of desperation for some food, I hit up the drive through today and I was happily surprised to find that my cheap (under $ 2) cheeseburger was fresh, hot and tasty. I will have to try some of their other selections next time I am in the area.

Bland food, too simple, but the burger patties are good and fresh. Could use some innovative new styles, menu and flavors.

I was a little hesitant because of the reviews, but I had to give it a shot and I’m EXTREMELY happy I did. I love a good burger, and even better I love a delicious burger that I can get through a drive thru. Nothing beats In-​N-​Out, but of course that’s not available here. My second choice is Burgerville, but the closest is in Albany. Finally the last choice for a good drive thru burger is Dairy Queen. This is hands down better then the last 2 places listed! Fresh bun, the meat tasted good (not cardboard! wtf?) great toppings, and it was nice and saucy. I did add bacon and it was crispy and not fake like Dairy Queen (which has a terrible liquid smoke flavor!) I got an order of onion rings and the batter they used was delicious! I didn’t try the fries, but will get that next time. I will be back!

4 stars seems high for fast food but…
They have grass fed beef.
I don’t feel as bad when I have an after work burger craving and I get it here.
I accidentally got bacon on my Burger (it was to go or I would have paid for it… maybe not. No, I wouldn’t have)…so free bacon and it was good! It was crispy and pretty thick… I mean In comparison With other fast food bacon.
Kid’s chicken strip meal is cheap and you can upgrade your drink to a little shake for 50 cents. Great deal.
The shakes are your standard flavors of vanilla strawberry chocolate And the shake of the month. My friend always gets one… Says they are real good.
They used to not have free refills, but now they do… So I used to hate them, but now I love them.
Never fails there is always some good people watching too.
They do have A dollar Burger… I prefer two of those instead of 4 bucks for the deluxe.
They have coupons currently in the savvy saver.
So hip hip hooray for fake Wendy’s!

This used to be Wendys. The burger is like eating wet cardboard completely without flavor. The onions rings had no flavor and undercooked. The price is about two dollars more than Wendys was. I will never return and feel ripped off.
