Don’t go unless you prefer to be treated like trash by bouncers. Walk back east and head to Cowfish where you’re treated like a person and not treated poor by power hungry security personnel who need more training.

Happy hour is pretty great and prices are reasonable. The outdoor seating is nice and bartenders are friendly.

Swank lil’ gay bar centrally located WITH a back dance hall! This place is amazing! Super sexy modern front that is wide open with windows and air in the summertime. This place is not your divey bear joint(which I happen to love) but rather a classy place to feel like an adult and meet some great folks and staff of any gender, race or sexuality. And they are starting to host events in the dance hall almost every night. Support your local gay bar… cuz it’s pretty much the only one and how lucky Eugene is to have it! They were out of the pretzels, cuz they’re that good, but it was Easter Sunday(where else would you spend Easter?!) so I was able to score a hot cross bun done up real cute by our waiter. BUT they do like REAL food in the daytime! I’m pretty sure based on the menu and our night time experience the day fair would be pretty stellar… it’s on my list for next visit for sure! xoxo to you Wayward Lamb

Can’t believe they wouldn’t change the chanel from the movie Contact to watch the basketball game… who are they catering to? I was the only one in the place… «it turns people away» was what the bar tender said! First and last time here! A gay bar in a huge college sports town that doesn’t do sports! Go figure!

The best bar in Eugene! Positive people and amazing drag queen shows! Sunday brunch is delicious and well priced. They have creative and fun events! Love it here!

Best dance bar in town. Love the people who work there. It’s my go-to whenever I’m headed out for a night with the gurls. The Drag shows on Fri are well worth the cover charge, I had a total ball last time I went. No pun intended! Drinks can be a little weak, depending on the bartender. Bathroom is coed but very clean. Yeah, I just love it! I wanna go right now…

First stepped into this place quite late, and during a wake for David Bowie. Great DJ /VJ in the back dance floor/bar area. Well mixed drink from the front bar. Staff seemed relaxed, friendly, attentive. Crowd was cool that night. Fine addition to the downtown«barmuda triangle». No particular opinion on their«heart on their sleeve» aspirations to be this town’s alt orientation hotspot. Best wishes on that. It does add a certain spice to an otherwise regular ol’ solid watering hole. I save 5 stars for a «wowza» kind of place, but saw no flaw in this cheery lil’ bar. You’ll like it.

Boyfriend and I were just in Eugene for the evening. We really enjoyed our time here. We had screwdrivers and Cosmo’s-made with fresh squeezed juices! Best Cosmo I’ve ever tasted. Affordable too. Lots of cute college guys, very diverse staff and clientele, and everyone there was extremely friendly. A must visit if you’re LGBT(or ally) and in Eugene.

Last night was my first time at Wayward Lamb and it was so much fun! It was 90’s night, which was amazing! And a fun performance. The drinks were tasty and the atmosphere was great. One thing that I would have liked would be a coat check. Or at least somewhere secure to put your coat and purse. Other than it was awesome!

I want to give 4.5 stars, because I can never quite fit into the boxes given me. Having said that there are so many thing I love about this bar, and the community input and support they reached out for before even opening. Their events manager is always creative and looking for ways to create space for inclusion and connectedness, and I love that this bar states it’s queerness unabashedly. I think it’s easier to train bartenders on drinks than it is to train them on being good humans, and I love all the humans working here– they have a great staff! I enjoy the themed nights, that are still inclusive. I especially love the photos on the wall – what a great way to honor some of the folks that make up the community. There are a few kinks still being worked out, but I see improvement already and appreciate that they are open to feedback!

So today was my first time here. First the calendar needs to be updated. Michele the bartender didn’t seem to know what was really going on this evening. I had Brunch. The food was good, But the Bloody Mary was so so. I mean it was a mix, but for $ 7 bucks! I gave this place 3 stars with the hopes that it well improve with time. I hope the calendar gets updated, it’s no fun driving 60 miles to find out that the event you wanted is not happening!

I’m very excited to have a queer space in Eugene! That said, the drinks are a bit pricey… so I admit, I get a couple shots at horse head first then hit up wayward. I’d love to just hang at wayward but I just can’t afford $ 8+ a shot for Jaeger and $ 5 a beer… it hurts my soul. But! Great staff, great atmosphere and delicious sammitches! I recommend the turkey brie pesto, yum!(Food is affordable:)

Bar staff stands around and does absolutely nothing to take care of their space… dirty tables and empty glasses cluttered the already ridiculously small space Bar manager is bit of a pig and is unprofessional and obnoxious.

Love the atmosphere, friendly staff. Much needed haven for the queer community. Came there last night for ladies night. My only beef is the music. The first dj clearly doesn’t have disc jockey skills. There was no fade out or mixing between songs and no rhyme or reason to the choice of song. There was also no response to the crowd. When they stopped dancing because of the choice of song, it wasn’t faded out into another song. which is typical at dance clubs. The second dj was more fun. Some songs weren’t 90’s, and I wish there was a better selection. There were sooooo many awesome dance hits in the 90’s. All in all, had a blast. But I would expect a more regular crowd if the music improved.

This place is awesome, I basically travel around the world bar hopping, and by far this is the coooooolest place in the north west USA. The vibe is great, people are friendly, drinks are perfect and that bartender chic with the blue hair is dope. If you’re in Oregon and want to have a great time, drop Portland like it’s hot and hit this place. Great bar, stupid name, but you’ll be back.

Yes, it’s nice to have a gay friendly bar. But, some of the patrons are incredibly rude and lack bar etiquette. That can’t be the bar’s fault though. But, what is the bar’s fault: 1. The service is *incredibly* slow. If they intend to be a volume bar, they need to hire bartenders who don’t move in slow motion. 2. The drinks are very weak. 3. They serve the wrong sized straws with their drinks. I shouldn’t have to put my nose down my glass searching for an undersized straw in the already weak drink they made me. 4. It is incredibly bright. 5. It can get crowded/claustrophobic and the rude patrons don’t understand how to use space in a bar. They probably need to take out some seats/chairs to more effectively use the space. They do many things well. But, they seem to get a free pass on other basic elements of having a good bar such as having decent service. This bar has lots of potential. I hope they can live up to it one day. Edit/Update: I’ve been back since then. This place still sucks.

Fun venue. Things seemed to be a bit bumpy at first but the service has improved and the bartenders seem friendlier and more attentive compared to the first couple of months. The front bar is a fun place to hang out.

Promising. They could improve on two things though: drinks and music. Drinks are a little too watered down with ice, and the music needs to be updated.
