Love this dive bar. Get over the smoke smell all you stuck up snobs and appreciate what is there. Great people, great bartenders and great entertainment. Liz the bartender is fast to refill your drink and the people are fantastic to talk to. Haven’t tried the food but you should know what to expect when you walk in. Can’t recommend this place enough. Old, dirty and GREAT!!! accept this fact and you will have a great time.

So I bookmarked this place because, based on the reviews, I thought this was going to become our go-to dive bar, and all my friends would thank me for finding the newest cool spot. I was really blown away by how wrong I was. It’s true that it advertises as a dive bar, but my goodness. there isn’t much going for it. I am afraid my review might be colored by the first 5 minutes. We sat down at the bar, and the most foul, most rank smell was overpowering us. It smelled like rotten food or a grease trap that has never been cleaned. We looked around and there was a small toaster oven, but nothing that seemed to jump out as the culprit. I motioned to my boyfriend that I had to step away from the bar and found a table. He brought us our drinks and had already closed out. We downed them pretty fast. There was obviously going to be a birthday party and almost all the tables were reserved and had balloons on them. We sat at one of the only open tables, which were right next to the jukebox. Once people started feeding that thing and blasting pop country into our ears at full volume, we were done. I don’t know when the fun starts there, but it wasn’t a good experience, at all. The beers were cheap, so it can have two stars.

Great staff, great atmosphere, great music, dance floor, kjs. The only thing I would change is the price of mixed drinks.

Yes! I finally found a decent dive bar in DFW!(Hmmm…is that an oxymoron? lol) Very cool… reminded me of the local old taverns where I grew up. Real dartboards, not those plastic electronic ones. Very cool shuffleboard. The right amount of well-used charm and nostalgia in there. Had a fantastic time, the staff and patrons were very friendly, the karaōke of the locals(and perhaps some not so local) was very entertaining. Several songs the entire bar sang. It was great. I will be back… towing whomever will come with me :)

Very cool, dimly lit, out-of-the-way, little dive joint ~ if you’re there to just hang with friends, shoot some pool and/or sing a little karaōke. Great juke box, bartenders are always friendly and the place has never failed to serve up a night of good entertainment…

I like a little grime in my dive bars, friendly bartenders, and a comfy place to swig my brew. This place hits all

Excellent dive bar from a bygone era, bartender was solid, wait staff attentive and playful, and the games were in good shape. People in the place were friendly locals. Definitely worth a hop.

Awesome dive bar and super fun place to hang out with friends. The bartender was very friendly and sweet. I had discovered this place through Unilocal and what really brought me here was the karaōke. I love watching karaōke but I hate participating and this place has a lot of locals that live to sing. Very entertaining. I met up with two of my friends and we had so much fun. They’ve got shuffleboard, darts, pool, fuseball, and more! We got us a table in the front where the karaōke was and had a great time basking in the atmosphere. My only complaint is the smoke but it wasn’t bad enough to where it would stop me from coming back and it’s obviously allowed at this establishment. So, that’s a fair warning. I knew it was allowed before coming here. Great place. Good drinks. Awesome specials. And just so much fun!

Very cheap but if your younger then 30 you might want to stay clear. Like I said, it’s a good place for cheap beer but the crowd is 35 and above. Overall, great little local dive bar.

I love this little dive bar! They allow smoking, and they have drink specials running all the time. The bartender, Kelly, is the best ever! Always service with a smile… she’s alot of fun!

This is the very best sort of dive bar. There’s lots of smoke, regulars who sit in the same seats every time, cheap pitchers, random $ 1 shot specials, free pool, darts, and shuffleboard. I was so excited about the pool etc. the first time we went but I have yet to play a single game. Instead, we are drawn every time to the Karaōke area, and somehow end up parking it there all night. We don’t sing,(they might not let us come back) but there is a rotating group of enthusiastic people who do, and it is fun just to watch. Everyone we’ve come across in this place, staff or otherwise, is super friendly. You never know what you’re going to see: 50 year wedding reunions– they shared cake with us!, birthday parties, karaōke groups… no matter what is going on, it is always a good place to have a beer with some friends and maybe make some new ones.

The only thing that makes this place four stars instead of five is that smoking is allowed inside. It hasn’t been bad when my wife and I have gone so I take it the ventilation is good. Still, I’m not a fan of indoor smoking. The Den is most assuredly a dive, which is just fine by me since dives are my number one type of bars. Draft beer is offered for Bud Light, Zeigenbock, and Coors Lite. I like Coors Original so I take my koozie for the bottles. Prices are always good. Marcy is a friendly and familiar face. Bring yer darts — there are three dart boards. There are also a couple of billiards tables.

Great staff, shuffleboard, pool and darts. New dance floor and Rawstin on Saturday nights. The place is packed an a lot of fun. This is now like a quaint cheers type atmosphere, everyone knows your name. I like to walk in and see many I know having fun!. I celebrated my Birthday there in Aug. What fun! Sindee F.

I was really surprised at this place. Don’t get me wrong it is a dive bar, but it is a dive bar full of fun people. When you walk in there is the bar on the left. shuffle board, pool tables and darts on the right with Karaōke in the back. It is actually a pretty sweet set up with lots of room to roam around and play. The Karaōke set up is sweet. The KJ is good about playing songs in-bewteen people and they have pretty much everything. The people are really awesome to. I mean some people were horrible but everyone cheered them on and gave them high fives after. If they like you they scream for encores. The dart boards are old and don’t have cork around them for people like me who need a little room around the board because we can’t aim. Now for what you are all wondering … how is the alcohol. It is reasonably priced. We had 4 pitches of Ziegenbock, a pitcher of bud light, and 4 shots … it was around 50. Definitely a place to consider.

I can’t believe this place is still open. it’s been about a year or so since I’ve been to this place. all I can say about this place, is it’s seen it’s better days. I remember back in the day when it was called randys it was a happening place. that place used to be a meat market if you know what I mean. now it’s just a old broken run down bar. I guess the place is alright to maybe go and have a couple of beers but I wouldn’t come here to watch the football game or anything. just not my kind of place. used to be back in the day but now not so much.

You would never know that such a nice bar is hiding within the den’s rough exterior. Drinks are priced ok, but what’s great is free shuffleboard, darts, and karaōke. Nice place to hang out and have some fun.

Back in the day this place was a DISCO! Now it’s a great little bar to hang out in and have some drinks with friends. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are always good. I’ve only been in the daytime and there are always some regulars hanging out at the bar and I feel that is always a great sign. It seems the new owner cares and takes the time to make sure her customers are well taken care of. I plan on checking it out at night some time soon and playing some shuffleboard.
