Drove to Northern Arkansas from Dallas to attend a conference. The conference staff suggested this hotel. While it wasn’t the closes the price seemed right for a jacuzzi room. Upon arrival my companion said the room had an unpleasant smell. I didn’t notice, for the price and after a 7 hour drive I was content just getting their and enjoying the weekend experience. The toilet clogged and water started spilling everywhere. It happens. I went to pick up the phone to call the office, no answer. We knocked on the door of the office, no answer. Luckily we found a door unlocked in the next empty room and used the bathroom there. We informed the office in the morning of the situation and they gave us a new room but didn’t offer to reduce our room rate. In fact, this is why I give them 1 star… awful Service recovery efforts. The owner actually argued with us that we were being unfair for asking ½ off of one night, she offered us a $ 7 discount. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional she was. It was rude and ugly. I’m still shocked. After telling her that there was no need to raise her voice and that we felt we weren’t asking for much, she said fine, grabs the card, runs it, then doesn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. I would never recommend this place to anyone who wants any type of service even if it’s one dollar people deserve to be treated better than the way she treated us. BTW, the coffee was watered down and the pastries were stale.

We are here right now and I have to say. it’s better than the last time! Our room was bigger and nicer. We had a lovely shower and a roomy jacuzzi and bed. The staff is very friendly and the shuttle stop is top notch. We will be returning for years to come!
