I have to say after reading a few of the reviews there are always those people that no matter what are not Happy. and that’s life :-) We were in this cute little town for my birthday week… and yes you heard that right we celebrate birthday’s for a whole week!!! I had several friends tell me we had to try this place for a good romantic dinner. I do have to say the ambiance was perfect, like I have read from other i would have to concur with place needing to be updated but it was still enjoyable! Okay to the food… we had coconut shrimp for an appetizer the shrimp was a little over-fried for my tasting but the dipping sauce was DELISH! I ordered the taste like heaven Thai Chicken and it was very very yummy the flavors just exploded in your mouth, My hubby ordered the Tuna and it too was very good almost over cooked for ordering it MED-Rare but it was still very good, the brocolli was perfecy cooked with a little crisp left and the rice had a nice taste too! I pre-ordered the Chocolate Soufflé and WOW it was fabulous and NO i didn’t want to share lol. Overall I would definitely go back the service was great, the bread was a french baguette that was delightfully warm it was a great dinning experience! For being a nice Restaurant is still casual! Can’t wait to go back :-)

The shrimp bisque along with a filet topped with lump crabmeat was an outstanding meal. The wine selection was expansive, the restaurant was very quiet, and the view from the large windows was beautiful. We will make a return trip the next time we are in Eureka Springs for sure.

My wife and I have dined here 3 or 4 times over the last 10yrs. Always had great food. Professional service and well chefed meals. Nice but small beer selection. One of the best meals I’ve ever had was at Autumn Breeze. Delicious and good sized portions for a fine dining experience

Save your money, better yet, go spend it at Local Flavor. My wife and I came to eureka Springs for a romantic and relaxing getaway. Our B&B package included a $ 50 gift certificate to a Restaurant of our choice. We perused the menu’s of optional restaurants, and decided on Autumn Breeze. The Restaurant is set off the main highway a bit, and is really in a beautiful area. The dining area has lots of windows, which beautifully showed the odd March snowstorm that had blown in our 3rd day in town. The décor really screamed 1980’s, though obviously pretty high class in 1982. We were greeted promptly, and seated at a fair table, slightly off-putting when we passed many excellent window tables that were quite vacant, really lots of them… Our server was prompt and polite, and pretty knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered a chocolate Soufflé, which had to be ordered at the time of entrees. My wife selected Chicken Marsala, and a cup of the cream of mushroom soup($ 18.00) I had a house salad and char-grilled prime rib, rare please($ 24.00) and creamy horseradish(an extra $ 3.00 for horseradish with prime rib) My salad was very small, slightly wilted with one cherry tomato, and one large red bell pepper. The dressing(house made blue cheese) was nice though. My wife’s soup was not quite as good as canned cream of mushroom soup, and much thicker. The bread served with the salad was overly dry, and really not worth mention. My wife’s chicken was moist but still not tender, and the Marsala really tasted like a sweetened country brown gravy. The mixed vegetables were very under seasoned, boiled or over steamed with the broccoli over done, carrots under, and cauliflower about right. My prime rib was charred to the point or carbonized at the tips, while barely under rare inside. The normal wonderfully flavorful fat that adds so much to a nice prime rib was almost powdery while the thickest portion of meat was near raw. My baked potato was fine, though my only topping was sour cream, and pats of rock hard butter left from the bread course. My vegetables were the same as my wife’s. Wine list was decent, though not featured, and we both drank water The chocolate soufflé was about the only good point, well risen, fluffy, and moist, though it was left quite dry on top. A simple ganash, or gran mariner glaze atop would have worked wonders. Only a few miles away is the amazing Local Flavor, who received our business three times in 4 days. We highly recommend heading into downtown, fighting the parking, and making the walk for this, much better, meal.
