Grotto Wood Fired Grill and Wine Cave

I had no idea a dining experience could be this amazing. From the minute we stepped thru the door, to the minute we left we were treated with such amazing hospitality. Our server was fantastic, had great knowledge of the menu, pairings with wines, advice on sauces… it was great. The food — oh my goodness… PHENOMENAL. Best steak I’ve ever had, the veggies were unbeatable. The appetizers were so good and the dessert absolutely topped it all off! I cannot wait for this place to open up again so we can go back!

Complete and unexpected surprise… This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We had the quail poppers, grilled portobello, and cedar plank salmon w/​bleu cheese butter. I can’t even begin to convey our supreme satisfaction with this restaurant and the staff… We will definitely return again!

Food and service were great. Lived up to reviews! We had the quail poppers for an appetizer, they were cooked perfect and had great flavor. We had filets as an entrée, very flavorful and a a perfect size on the smaller side, not huge. Again, cooked great. Service was great and atmosphere was lively and fun. We would come back.

Open late. They have a wonderful bar and selection of wines. The quail breast appetizer was tender with a wonderful sauce. It is large enough for an entrée. We also had the hand cut French fries, which were good with some of their sauces. Would definitely return!

This was a great find. Visiting Eureka Springs for the first time and found this gem. The quail appetizer was outstanding! The trout with lump crab sauce was amazing! Neat little restaurant downtown Eureka Springs, AR. The cave part of the restaurant was a bit lame but the food was great!!!

This was delicious to the fullest extent of the word. Every part of every dish we ordered had flavor of its own but complimented the full flavor of the dish.
We ordered the Quail Poppers as a starter. I’m not quite sure how it was made but the texture and flavor was spot on. My friend ordered the pan seared cedar trout and she said it was ‘amazing, melt in your mouth and packed with flavor.’ I ordered the sliders, and every thing about them was yummy! Then for dessert we ordered the molten chocolate cake… It was warm oozing of chocolate and flavor. Here is the big butt… It was pricy for the quantity but the full flavor did not leave you wanting for more. The staff and ambiance was a great compliment to the great food.

Love this place. I have been coming to Eureka for many years. This is my new favorite restaurant. The quail poppers were amazing and the filet was excellent. Love the wine selection.

Awesome place located just down from the New Orleans Hotel. Awesome atmosphere, food, and drinks. Super cool place!!!

Best _._._._.food here! Eureka has a great chef and server staff Thomas is a great guy! This chef is the bomb digidy! I kinda went rogue on the menu but the owner chef did it!

My wife and I are in town visiting our son, who is an intern at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. We’re from Berkeley California and live about a mile from Chez Panisse and the Gourmet Ghetto. The Grotto can definitely compete with any restaurant in Berkeley or the San Francisco area. It was fantastic! Thank you for a great meal!

Despite being such a new restaurant, we had a wonderful experience; the food was excellent! The waiting staff was super friendly and attentive. We had the trout and the ribeye and both were cooked perfectly. Dessert was amazing as well, definitely try the salted caramel cake and the cheesecake! One of the best places we ate at in Eureka Springs!

This was one of the best meals I’ve had all year. The trout with pan-​Asian sauce was absolutely amazing. The ambiance is fantastic. Nice enough for a fancy dinner, but comfortable enough for a casual one. We were able to get in with no wait, but we were lucky. Make a reservation just to be sure, or you may end up waiting a while.

Loved this place! Food, service, and atmosphere. They hit the trifecta. A few «growing pains» were evident after only having been open 4 weeks, but they were minor issues and were handled very professionally. We wandered in at random, and were SO happy we did! We shared some wings (delicious), but had to leave because we had a reso at another place. After about 5 minutes at the other place where they acted like we were bothering them, we actually left and came BACK to the Grotto where we were finally able to enjoy the full fare. Sometimes things have a way of working out!

Great food. Great wine. Tremendous service. Cool atmosphere. If you order the filet, get the bleu cheese. Trust me.

Get off your phone and take my payment. 14 table tops and possibly 5 waitstaff/​bar and hostess. 9 tables are empty. We waited way too long for a bland pizza (the yard bird) and two cocktails. For $ 40 I’d like you to GET OFF YOUR PHONE, quit eating chit chatting and eating your own dinner and let’s end this. Somewhat amicably.
