We were seated quickly as a late afternoon walk-in. The staff was knowledgeable, polite, thoughtful, and efficient. The sangria was delightfully refreshing and a lovely start to our meals. My sister enjoyed the smoked salmon thoroughly, while I enjoyed my fish tacos. They were flavorful, light, and perfectly cooked.

If you are coming here to eat, definitely don’t get take out. Sadly, when we got here in Eureka Springs, everything closes at 9PM and we didn’t really have time to go out and eat so we decided to just call in and place an order to go. Bad decision. We ordered the Pork Piccata which came with a side salad and for dessert we ordered a chocolate crème brûlée. Horrible decision. You definitely lose the presentation of the dish taking out. Next, the food I believe would have just tasted better if you eat at the restaurant. Lastly, you’re paying for the same price but the negative of everything. I think our experience would have been ten folds better if we just decided to eat at the restaurant, but sadly that didn’t happen. If I’m ever in the area, ever, I’ll consider on coming back here. But with all the good reviews I don’t think this is a bad choice to check out if you’re looking for some dinner. The food wasn’t bad, but as I said the presentation and the amount that you get just doesn’t feel the same or give a satisfying feeling.

Three times now we have been to Eureka Springs and have been unable to resist this restaurant. First, if you ask the locals many will tell you that you need to try it. Second, it’s easy to find as you’re heading into the old downtown area. Third, when you follow the local advice to try it, you’ll have to eat there every time because it’s so good. Relaxed and charming, the place has great light and feels intimate. The service staff are casual but very attentive, and they have excellent crafted cocktails plus a terrific hand-picked wine list. The food choices are amazing and vary from light to incredibly rich, but each time we have felt like we had our best meal there. Last night we got the warm sesame rolled goat cheese salad and the pork tenderloin piccata, followed by the chocolate Lavendar crème brûlée. We are slowly and enjoyed every bite. It actually felt like time slowed down a bit, which is exactly what we were going for. Treat yourself, let them treat you the way you deserve!

We stopped in for lunch after we arrived in Eureka Springs. We started with the salmon appetizer, which was delicious. The café was nice and had a casual feeling. There was a good amount of outdoor seating, but it was a little too hot when we stopped in. The food was great, with a sizable variety and fair pricing. Service was friendly, and we had an overall good experience. We would definitely stop back in if we food ourselves in the area again.

I am a little torn between 4 and 5 stars. There were good vegetarian options. We had the Grilled Portobello and Swiss sandwich, the Veggie Reuben, Bread Pudding & Bourbon Cream, Chocolate Decadence with Salted Caramel, and Pecan Pie with Shortbread Crust. The sandwiches came with coleslaw. All of the food was excellent. The desserts were beyond your dreams. My only complaint is that we had an issue with our order. My dad has a severe tomato allergy which we made clear before we ordered. When our food came he had slices of tomatoes on his plate with his sandwich setting on top. We had to reorder and wait for his food. The staff should take allergies more seriously. My dad could have become very sick. However they offered free dessert to make up for it. Mistakes happen. I just hope they are more careful with allergies in the future.

Our for dinner for our anniversary our first night in ESprings and this was recommended by the staff of our«hotel». Right away we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. Dawn was our server and was willing to answer any questions we had. We had(1) the baked Brie– it was OMGood! My husband(the worlds pickiest eater) loved it. Then(2) our salads– let me tell you this place makes their own dressings. The ranch was amazing! He opted for the blueberry vinaigrette and was amazed once again.(3) the bread– I could have made a meal out of the bread alone!!!(4) the pasta primavera with grilled salmon– to die for! I spent the entire meal making yummy noises.(5) hubs had the pork loin that was delicious. He ate every bite with no complaint what so ever! It is among a small strip of stores that offer everything from tattoos to antiques. Take some time and enjoy the local life!

Food was delicious and I loved the white peach sangria. We had the crab cakes, meatball penne, and chicken saverio. All were very fresh and flavorful… It did take a little while for food, but it was worth the wait. We will definitely be going back!

Fantastic place! Brie is out of this world good. We had Sunday brunch. My wife had the crab eggs Benedict, her comments were flavorful, fresh taste, and completely delightful! I had the Mexican omelette, it was awesome, the avocado was the difference maker along with the chorizo! Wayne did a fantastic job taking good care of us during our visit!

I adore Local Flavor Café! It has been my favorite restaurant in Eureka Springs so far, and there are lots of great restaurants here! Everything is fresh and you should definitely check out the homemade salad dressings — they’re to die for! The have awesome gluten-free options that are delicious — even desserts! And our server was very knowledgeable about them. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Amazing food, amazing service. My only complaint would be that it seemed like it took quite a while for the food to come out, although it was one of the best meals I’ve had in my life and well worth the wait.

OMy wife and I went to this restaurant while on vacation. We looked up many reviews and decided that this was the place to try. We went on a Saturday night, not realizing we should have made reservations. We waited an hour for a table. Definitely recommend making a reservation. Once we were seated, we ordered the baked brie for the appetizer. I had great hopes, as this is what is recommended the most. We did not care for the honey lemon sauce that was on top. It made it too sweet! For our main course my wife ordered the lemon chicken Ceasar salad. It was delicious. I ordered the pork loin with the creamy mushroom sauce. It was really grear. For dessert, we ordered the vanilla crème brule. That was the best part of the night! Highly recommend ordering that! Overall it was a great experience and we would eat here again.

Minus one star because it is a bit pricey, but other than that this place is a serious WIN. They are one of the few dog friendly places in Eureka. They even brought Griffin a little dog bowl of water while we ate. I got the goat cheese tapenade sandwich and a blood orange mimosa, all of which were fan-freakin-tastic. My boyfriend got the chicken and mushroom sandwich and a boulevard. He kept commenting on how tasty the bread was. Overall our meal was $ 41 for lunch… good thing we were in vacation mode :)

I took my family here when visiting Eureka Springs this last week. This is a charming little café with good food. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is nice. Interestingly they have a lot of unique lamps. They also have art on the wall for sale so you can go here to have a meal and pick up some art. The food was very good and at a very fair price. I had a simple burger. I ordered it medium rare but it came out well done. I brought this to the waitress’s attention. She acknowledged the error and offered to make me a new burger. I’m not much for wasting food so ate it anyway. .. it wasn’t bad, just cooked more than what I wanted and I didn’t make a big fuss. When the bill came for my party, I was not charged for the burger. This was very classy of them. I don’t fault a restaurant for making an error. These things happen and I make mistakes more regularly than I want to admit. It is the admission of the error and the gesture to make it right is what I think sets a restaurant apart from another place. It is for this reason and others mentioned above, that I give this place 5 stars and I’ll happily go back again.

Very good. Consistently good. That’s what the B&B owner said about Local Flavor. If you are visiting from out of town and looking for a solid meal come here for dinner. She is right. This place was great and the service is friendly. Everything on the menu looks good. The fresh baked sourdough bread to start was delicious. And his fresh halibut dish with asparagus was hands-down delicious. I have to admit there was too much cheese in my chicken severio plate but it was well prepared at least. I caught a glimpse of the pork piccata at the table next to me and oh wow. that looked great! I can’t say I was impressed with the wine list in terms of quality but they had a good selection to choose from so variety makes up for it. During my next opportunity I’ll try the popular sangria with the piccata plate.

Very pleasantly surprised by this place. First time in ES and a friend suggested this because of their sangria. Sangria was good… especially the white peach sangria… I’ve actually been craving it since then. There was four of us and we had the following: my sister had the shrimp and avocado appetizer as a meal. She wasn’t disappointed. It was a cold salad type thing with a creamy sauce. I tasted it and it was pretty yummy. Her husband had the turkey and avocado sandwich with fries and said it was really good. My boyfriend had the turkey Reuben and I had the tilapia sandwich. The dill dressing for the tilapia was awesome… fish was perfect. Food was very good. Service was great… our waiter was knowledgeable about the food and the bar menus and was very polite. He attended our table just enough to not feel overwhelming. The place was pretty busy but you couldn’t tell by the way he handled our table. We sat outside on the balcony and it was the perfect atmosphere. It overlooks part of the main strip, so it was nice to just sit and people’ watch. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the experience. Most lunch entrees were $ 9 – 12 and the servings are pretty hearty. We would definitely eat here again when in the area… very good experience.
