I have been here many times. We travel 2 hrs to get there and its slways worth it. Its an open air café so the guy complaining of flies is an idiot, if you eat outside you will have flies. They have some of the best food I’ve ever had, hence the trip. Bill, the owner is a very grscious host.

Avoid at all costs. Arrived mid day on a Saturday and restraunt moderately busy. Was waited on and received drinks in a reasonable time frame. Took 10 minutes after getting drinks for server to return. Restraunt became busy shortly after placing order. Staff was bickering with each other and complaining that our server never pulled her share. People would show up and leave after not being offered drinks multiple times. About 30 minutes after placing our original order we got our appetizer which was very small for $ 9.(About 6 or 7 small onion rings) As we were eating our appetizers, we noticed a group of 6 which arrived about 15 min after we placed our order were getting their food brought to them which happened to include the same food we ordered, but was given to them because our waitress was outside on smoke break #4 in the last 10 minutes. Did not wash hands after smoking before delivering people’s food either. We received our food a little over 15 minutes after the large group that arrived 15 min after we ordered. The food was terrible. I ordered the Philly Dehli and it was over cooked steak, cheap melted cheese on a hoagie bun. I’ve had better at truck stops. My wife(who told our waitress she had never tried Indian food), ordered the Dil Ruba. The burger was molten spicy and flavor terrible. Too hot to consume and the patty was cooked into oblivion. No options for meat doneness offered. Wife always has burger medium, ticket later stated request for well done, which wasn’t even offered one way ir the other. No where on the menu was any denotation of spice factor. Waitress never said her food selection may be spicy. This is not some fancy eatery, it is a sidewalk café in the middle of a tourist town. There was some expectation that if something was very spicy there would be a warning. My wife mentioned that food was too spicy to eat to our waitress and she just shrugged and said«Sorry» and went on about her business. Maybe 3 bites were eaten and no offer to discount or rectify situation at all. Not even an offer to order another item. Wife used restroom before leaving and said there were dead roaches all over bathroom floor and looked like that had been there a while. Overall horrible food, shitty service, dirty restaurant. Would never go back and I suggest you don’t go in the first place.

I was told this place had great burgers, I guess we went on an off day. My burger was big and looked great but man was it dry. I asked for a beer and it was like drinking warm water. I asked the waitress if she would put a beer on Ice for me. the first beer she brought me was warm, when I asked for another beer, it was just as bad, I let her know in a polite way. The waitress was cool it her wasn’t her fault, Boulevard Wheat is not cheap. I was surprised when they charged me for the beers. Never go back myself.

Lots of flies on the downstairs patio and very smoky. Our server seemed attentive at first, but we didn’t see her again after our drinks were delivered and orders were taken until after the food arrived(almost an hour). Burger was good, waffle fries were sub-fast food quality. Nachos were decent, although I never received the sour cream or cilantro chutney that was advertised as part of the dish on the menu. Overall — slow, spotty service and not great ambiance.

Absolutely a NO. So many more places that you could go, just don’t go here. Food was terrible, service non existent. They gave my entire table water with no ice… How is that possible? «Delhi fries» zero flavor or seasoning… Asked waiter for some extra and he said he couldn’t and what is on them is enough for most people and walked off… are you joking? I expect this place to be gone soon. Thankfully.

Dirty, messy, run down and terrible, slow service, and SOMANYFLIES. We spent nearly an hour and half between ordering our food, receiving our food, sending back half of the food, receiving a replacement, getting our check, paying, and eventually leaving this dumpster disguised as a restaurant. Do not eat here.

DONTWASTEYOURTIMECOMINGHERE!!! There are so many other cool places to visit in this town. While visiting Eureka Springs from Broken Arrow Oklahoma and at the recommendation of our friend Russ we had to stop for one«The Best Burgers in Town». What a joke!!! With a party of five seating outside was a miss due to the live music and with the only table right in front of the speakers. The music was mediocre and not something I’d like to have to scream over the noise for. We sat inside and were greeted by a waitress who took our order. We ordered 3 beers, a Bloody Mary, and the fried pickles. The Bloody Mary didn’t even make it to our table for at least 15 minutes and after numerous attempts to get our waitresses attention for the drink it finally arrived. The batter on the pickles didn’t stay on and the pickles were left at the bottom of the basket in a puddle of grease. After waiting for another 15⁄20 minutes our waitress came back to our table to finish our order. We were sure she was new due to her inconsistencies with placing our order and getting drinks to our table. Our main order consisted of 3 of «The Best Burgers in Town» a Ruben sandwich and a cup of garlic tomato soup. We were told that we had to wait for more meat to arrive because they had run out and the waitress had to make a trip to the store for more. We said we would wait thinking that at least we know the meat is fresh and not a frozen patty. On the menu the price for the burger is only for the patty, onion, tomato, and lettuce with fries or a bag of chips… if you wanted more, it cost you. Bacon cheese and avocado was almost another 5 dollars. If you wanted your onions sautéed it was even more too. To top it off the burger was sandwiched between a hard potato bun. When our order was ready, it sat on the bar waiting for our waitress to bring to our table. We noticed she had just walked out of the door with keys in her hands and headed down the sidewalk. One of the other experienced waitress was trying to figure out where our food should go until the waitress finally came back in. Our burgers and soup arrived and were completely inedible… There was a thick layer of grease on top of the soup and no matter how much she stirred it, it still say right there on the top. Yuck!!! The burgers were completely over-cooked and burnt around the edges. Totally disgusting!!! I ate the avocado, bacon and cheese without the burger since that was the extra topping paid for. The friend who ordered the Ruben said it was good so no complaints there. When the bill arrived the total was over $ 100 dollars($ 110) and we couldn’t get the waitress to explain all the added additions on the ticket. She was new as we suspected and completely incompetent. Total for burger additions ordered were 6 but there were at least 8 additional charges on the receipt labeled extras, pepper jack cheese and cheese and bacon. What?!! After reading the reviews here on Unilocal someone posted that there is an additional gratuity charged for groups of four or more… that was posted nowhere that we saw and if that’s the case they took us for even more money than the original $ 110.

Enjoyed lunch with a group of friends here. Their unique burgers were tasty and worth trying. Mojitos were super minty and tasty. A second group of friends joined us and their service went down. Really slow and we went a while without hearing anything from the server.

This is the only restaurant review I’ve ever written but it’s VERY necessary. This was the WORST meal we’ve ever had. Three of us ordered their«famous» chutney burger the others split the malai kofta(spelling) After two hours of waiting. That is no exaggeration, the kids left and got dinner from Nathan’s hot dogs. I wish we were that smart. After going downstairs to use the restrooms we see half our order sitting on a tray buzzing with insects. Our«waiter» see’s that we’ve noticed and says«I’ll have it right up!» He’d been BSing with the bartender. The food which was half the order was ice cold and incorrect. One of the burgers had paper on the cheese. The burgers although ice cold were burnt to a crisp and disgusting. The malai kofta was a soggy mess and after one bite I felt sick. As a former infantry grunt I’m used to bad food but this was beyond gross. Anyway, no one ate because the entire meal was flat sickening. We said to forget the remainder of the food and to bring the ticket. The waiter apologized a dozen times and offered us free shots and beers and said he’d remove the burger that had paper on it from the bill. The bill was jacked up. He even charged the poor girl like $ 1.27 for the cheese!!! We decided to cut our losses and just pay. It’s a real shame because the location is beautiful. Only giving one star because the screen won’t allow zero stars.

This restaurant has three levels. We sat on the top level… the outside patio with a view of Basin Spring Park and were able to watch the Bluegrass Festival that was going on across the street. Food was pretty good — we split an avocado wrap and a an order of waffle fries. Pretty good and fresh but the location was the best part. Our server was great, too.

So my wife and I were seated. and we sat there. And sat there and sat there… You get the idea. After two waitresses pass us and lock eyes with us probably 8. Seriously 8 times. Finally a woman they call grandma got back on the clock to simply serve us one god damn drink. So is it because we are a lesbian couple these other waitresses couldn’t use their God given legs to do this simple task? Or maybe my peach sundress offended one of them? Maybe my wife’s money wasn’t good enough? Idk but I won’t be back and I won’t recommend this place. Thanks Grandma for the drink. The fat blonde one really pissed me off

My wife and I lunched here. We both had simple orders strait off the menus, but they never got it strait. My meal arrived as ordered and tasted good. My wife got only half of her meal and it was not hot all the way through. They did adjust the price for the food we never received.

If you have a huge sign outside that states«Best Burger in Eureka!» You better serve a damn-fine burger. Instead I was served, what looked to be a pre-made frozen patty with burnt edges. For $ 10? Wtf? What would u assume would come with a $ 10 burger? Fries? Salad? How ’bout a small bag of Lays potato chips. Forgetful menu, forgetful food, forgetful décor, forget this place. U don’t have to go far to get a better meal at a better price.

We had lunch at the New Delhi Café at the recommendation of a local person up the street so we thought we would give it a try. The food was not too bad but for what you got, the prices were higher than they should have been. I had the Italian Chicken Sandwich which cost $ 10.75 and for that I got a very small roll with one piece of chicken on it with some lettuce and tomato and a bit of pesto smeared on it. That and a bag of chips and it cost $ 10.75. My wife had the veggie burger and it was a lot larger and only cost $ 8.50 and also had chips. With the tip we spent $ 30.00 for a lunch that should have cost half that. Our server was very efficient and was doing her best to keep up with every table in the place and it was obvious she was working about as hard as she could. Tables everywhere were dirty and the manager/owner was visiting with friends over in a corner and would pass by dirty tables and ignore them. The restroom was dirty also when I visited it. It seemed that the owner did not want to staff the place well enough to keep it up. He was mostly interested in raking in the money for overpriced food. Our server informed us of all the items listed on the menu that were not available when we first entered and sat down. I guess we should have taken that as a clue that the place was not being well managed. I will not return here if we come back to visit again.

One of the many choices of eateries on the historic Main Street in Eureka Springs, AK. The building appears quite old but has probably been restored and is nicely decorated. Fresh flowers adorn all of the tables. I had the ‘New Delhi’ French fries which was a huge, delicious serving. My friend had the avocado wrap which was also delicious!

Ugh! What a disappointing meal for what was otherwise an awesome day spent adventuring in Eureka Springs. My merry band of misfits and I popped in here for lunch today(after awkwardly abandoning a café up the street when we decided the prices were too steep) and were immediately disappointed to find out that the prices here were also steep. Nine to ten dollars for appetizers?! Pleaaaase. However, we had a vegetarian on board and didn’t want to load up on just corn dogs, so we stayed. I have regrets about this. Despite signs boasting that this place had the best burgers in town, I decided to go with a curried chicken and potato wrap. For nine dollars, I was expecting a fat, burrito-like meal with lots of spice and perhaps an unexpected side(I wasn’t asked which side I would like, so I assumed it would be a house Indian-style something) but what I received was pretty much inexcusably not worth nine bucks. My curried chicken wrap was bland(whether any curry actually went into the recipe is debatable), came without any greens and came with a side of Lays potato chips. Are you fracking kidding me? I paid $ 13-ish total for a meal that came with a bag of chips, wasn’t super tasty, and didn’t even make me full?! At lunch time?! To further add to our disillusionment, my friends’ burgers were burned around the edges and when they asked our waitress for mustard packets, she didn’t come back until we were well into our meal. After a few minutes’ awkward waiting(the restaurant wasn’t that busy… at all), one of my friends got up and brought back mustard for the table, which he found in a barrel nearby. Finally, we were a little turned off by all the rules on the menu. No substitutions and a gratuity added to parties of four or more? Jeez — lighten up, owner(s). In summary: I give this place a big thumb down with an accompanying fart noise. It seems to be a place keen on wheedling money out of visitors without any real desire to deliver a good impression of the food in Eureka Springs, which surely is good… somewhere.

Love Eureka Springs. Great little artist community. I was here six years ago. Glad to see the little town hasn’t lost all it’s charm in spite of all the commercialism. The New Delhi Café is part of the old Eureka Springs. Wonderful variety on the menu and excellent food. I had a avocado wrap and my girl friend had the New Delhi French Fries. Both were excellent.

Please, only come here for the great live music. Cocktails are pretty much Virgin. Samosa is made with tortilla and boiled potato with no taste of any sort, even bland taste will feel bland. I regret trying food here. But as I said, the live music saved the night. Music was simply awesome. Update(reduced 1 star) : We had patron shots, I am uploading pic of the shot to show how small was the shot glass. It was at least half the size of regular shot glass. And we ordered patron shots, and the shots did not taste like patron at all. Tasted like a third class tequila. TIP: don’t order alcohol from the server. Take it from bar directly, that would probably give you a better option hopefully. All the best if you decide to come here for anything else apart from the awesome music.
