The Pizza is usually pretty Good. We spend a couple Tuesdays a month there… Yesterday both pizza were nothing like we ordered… Except one had Pesto Sauce. They did ask if we wanted them to remake(that would have been a Hour later) NOTHANKS! So We paid for Pizza we didn’t order… I don’t see how anybody could have messed up the order that bad unless it was intentional. This was the first time the messed it up, but a couple who we met there order was also half right… so really it’s like 2 ½ stars… I know that some Tuesdays they are really busy and can understand but they weren’t busy!!!

I work around the way from Angelos, so ordering from them for lunch and having it delivered is pretty convenient for me. Anyways I ordered some fried zucchini. The breading was not cooked all the way and the slices were cut one inch apart. It was extremely odd and they tasted horrible due to not being cooked all the way. So I called to politely tell them they gave me not fully cooked food and the guy said no problem they will get me a free order of them next time. When I came in to get my free order the lady at the counter was very rude to me and denied me my free order of fried zucchini even though I had been previously told I would be comped for the messed up order I got. Pretty disappointed about the rudeness mostly and not necessarily being comped for their screw up.(even though I paid for food I didn’t even get to eat!) This is not the first encounter of rudeness and mess ups I have experienced with this parlor either.

RUDERUDERUDE!!! Went with my parents who were visiting from out of town and were disrespected. Heavy set worker with piercings rudely balked at my family to not share our all you can eat salad, which by the way my husband was only tasting. I would understand if we were abusing the privilege, but we had made one bowl and just sat down. We decided to not give them our business and went for a refund. The worker was rude and mocked us. She also told us to never come back. All of this over a salad. Don’t eat here, they are rude to customers, unprofessional, and always seem to be out of ice and toppings.

Love going here for the lunch buffet. Price has went up but still a good buy. Only thing I would recommend is more sauce on the pizza please it is very dry.

The food is decent, but there are definitely way better pizza places in town for better prices. The salad bar is incredibly overpriced for the options available, but the happy hour beer prices make up for that. The service is generally good, though I have been hung up on a few times trying to call in an order. I would give more stars, but I feel sentimental because my experiences in the past were better and that hasn’t been the case recently. All in all, beer prices are decent, though the selection is small, salad bar is small and not the greatest quality, and I’m not that picky about pizza so no complaints there.

Worst pizza place I have ever had. Calzone: dry and under cooked. F Strawberry shake: more like strawberry milk. F Service: horrible despite the lack of customers. D Beer Selection: pathetic just like the décor. D This is ranks number 1 for places not to eat at in Eureka in my book,

Food is mediocre at best and ridiculously overpriced. Besides the quality of the food being terrible, the atmosphere feels like a high school cafeteria. Don’t waste your time or money. Not anywhere near worth it.

I’ve lived in Eureka for 3 years and never had the opportunity, need, desire to visit Angelos Pizza, or as the burnt out neon sign reads«Ange Pizz» I’ve heard mixed reviews. Mostly that they have a lunch buffet. But it’s on the other side of town and too far away from my work to fully appreciate a buffet. Some coworkers were having a going away thing so I finally got the chance to try the famous Angelos Pizza Parlor. I almost didn’t find a parking space at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. The place is spacious and has tons of seating, which I assume draws large groups and events but the parking lot doesn’t really seem adequate. Or that it’s full of Humboldt yokels who all drive monster trucks. Seems like it was board game club night or something. Watch out for that. The atmosphere is classic 1960s pizza parlor. Old games, wooden booths, salad bar etc. Pizza is average but be aware that they think pineapple is a vegetable. As in, they put it on a vegetarian pizza. Wtf is that crap? They have a lunch buffet which I hear is really reasonable. The pizza reminded me of Marcellis(previously Big Louie’s) which is known for its buffet. If it’s lunch time and you want a decent pizza buffet and you’re on either side of Eureka you have pretty similar options. If people said they were going an invited me I’d go, but I don’t think I’ll ever go on purpose.

Over paid for a pizza that was not what I ordered and was undercooked, got home and had to recook the pizza myself. Make sure to enunciate every syllable. Definitely 50 $ down the toilet!

Unfortunately it’s hit and miss. No consistency in food or service. Hope you don’t end up there on a night the HBNC has their meetings. Several of their members were rude to my son and I, and told us we weren’t welcome to eat in the main dining room… even though I specifically chose a table that did not have their paper plate signage on it. The main dining room contains the tv’s, salad bar, and drink machine, so I thought it was a little odd that they expected us to stay out of that area. When I approached the staff about my treatment from the other customers they said that I would need to move to the back room! Horrible customer service. Should’ve stuck with best… Paul’s Live from New York!!!

We have been coming to Angelo’s pizza for years. Not only is the food so good but what other pizza place has tv’s at every table. The staff gets it done even under pressure! Try the hot wings! You won’t be disappointed! Also the pizza and bread sticks are delicious! We will forever be a loyal customers!

The pizza here is amazing! They don’t skimp on the cheese and the sauce is perfect! Haven’t been disappointed yet! If you ask me it’s a little pricey but you are paying for top notch quality pizza! Don’t go to round table!!! This place is far better!

The hubby and I decided to stop at Angelo’s on our way home from the county fair Sunday evening around 5. The dinner crowd had not arrived yet, so we lucked out. Our order-taker was business-like but in a neutral way, not unfriendly, as some other reviewers experienced. We were given our drink cups right away, nice and chilled out of the fridge. Our pizza arrived, crisp and hot, within the time you’d expect for a medium combination. The guy who brought it to us was friendly and asked if there was anything more he could bring us. Anyway, I’d been craving pizza lately and it did not disappoint! The crust is one of the things I love about Angelo’s pizza the most. It’s a little different from the crust — style in many places: crunchy with a sort of cornmeal(?) touch. The crust was delicious and just the right thickness to support the toppings without getting soggy. Speaking of the toppings, our pizza was thick with them! Plenty of tasty stuff. The place could use a facelift inside but that’s not a drawback. There are some kids’ arcade games and a number of TVs for the sports fans. It was clean when we were there. The restrooms were also clean but could use some TLC. I’ve been an Angelo’s customer off and on –the off years due to proximity– for almost 40 years. Haven’t had a bad experience or pizza.

Seriously folks don’t waste your time. Arrived prior to 9 pm and was greeted by a large group of disinterested employees. Do they sell food or is it a front for friends to hang out and drink free beer. Waited to be asked if I would like to attempt to buy somehting, anything from them to no avail. The«manager» was on the phone and the other 8 people were hanging out and talking. Some dancing was happening as well. So my buddy asks where do we order. The smiling young lady says«not sure but I am off. Sorry» Wow. So we left. No beer. No pizza. And a man without beer and pizza is not a happy man. Angelos. Scrap the business model and convert your building into a place that houses livestock. They will not complain about non existent service and you can make some cash off the byproducts.

I attempted to order 2 pizzas on Tuesday 77.First of all I was on hold, and hung up on three times, for a total of 20 minutes. When I finally got thru they were rude to me for no reason. I was the one who should have been rude but I wanted to eat. The prick who talked to me explained that they were having a large biker party and that they were 20 tickets behind and that if he were me he wouldn’t order tonight. Well I spent too much time on this so far and attempted to order he hung up on me. I have been eating there a long time but no more, FUCKYOU Angelos don’t have parties that big if you can’t handle them or close to everyone else on that evening. Don’t put people on hold if you have no intentions of taking their orders… Assholes!!!

It’s been a few years since I went to this place so I decided to give it a chance again, and I was more disappointed then when I stopped coming in 5 years ago. The pizza back then when ordered delivery was mediocre and the lunch buffet was crap… and this time 5 years later even crappier. The pizza was cold and there used to be more options, the Web site said hot dogs and nachos bar… there was pizza, wings, potatoes and a salad bar. The pizza tasted like th e frozen kind cold. The salad bar was ok, the salad was a little brown and had to pick through. The beets and baby corns were good, but the olives were horrible and the mushrooms to. I can’t imagine ordering a pizza with either of those cheap toppings. Should of gone to round table buffet

4 star in honor of a classic«parlor» taste & feel… South Bay Area nostalgia I hold for Shakeys pizza parlor. Hence My approval for Angelo’s to keep it Classic. Tv’s: abundant(even personal tv’s in half the boths) Arcade for the little ones Bunch of space(section you can reserve for Your privacy/party’s) Happy hour in play.
